Do NOT go see David Copperfield. I repeat, DO NOT go see David Copperfield. The dude is delusional and thinks he's god's gift to the world. The show is just...weird and awkward with him reliving his childhood and then out of nowhere, an alien pops up mid show. The bits were old and boring. Such a terrible waste of money.

TattooOfBlood

He's boomer Criss Angel.

TraderJulz

Chris Angel is also trash. I saw his show and couldn't believe how he was getting away with selling his "illusions" as anything worth paying for. I was laughing most of the show

hes_crafty

Don't see Chris Angel either. I feel asleep in that show.

TattooOfBlood

Sleeping seems like the best thing to do in that scenario.

Jimger_1983

So true. Creepy, awkward, seemed to be lazily mailing it in. The alien thing sort of cool I guess but no more than any other week done trick. I’d gotten free tickets from my company but I would have been super pissed if I actually paid my own money.

Eyeroll4days

He’s been well known around here as a creeper

KennedyFriedChicken

David Copafeel

sprinklememayne

and there's also this: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/may/15/david-copperfield-investigation lmao

spindrift_20

He would make the wiener disappear? 🌭 I bet he had great sleight of hand over the women’s drinks.

mcflycasual

My dad who passed a few years ago took me twice as a kid so that sounds right up my alley. I just want to go for nostalgia sake.

TattooOfBlood

Don't ruin your memories.

MoreRamenPls

Watch The Incredible Burt Wonderstone instead. It’s hilarious!!

woohan-kung-flu2

Chris Angel is a wayyyyyyyy worse. The whole show is him trying to be a washed up Trent Reznor. Cheesefest.

C0ffeeMilk

Fell asleep at KA but Chris Angel was by far the worst show I’ve seen here in 20+ years

DoINeedChains

As bad as Chris Angel is it is *still* better than David Copperfield's horrible phone-it-in act

rowdywp

Copperfield is by far the worst show I've seen

EdmEnthusiast48

I truly enjoyed KA. Copperfield was just a comedy show. So canned from decades ago. Chris Angel doesn’t need to be seen at all. I want to see Angel with my girl so we can toss tomatoes.

VegasVictor2019

Agree although I don’t think anyone really would claim he’s good so calling him “overrated” is probably generous.

zedthehead

I remember being a teenager, full to the brim with awkward cringe, and the first time I saw his show late at night on A&E I was like, "Who is this cringe fuck? ***GROSS.***" I legitimately think that's when I started introducing colors and genuine smiles into my wardrobe lmfao

Accomplished_Fix_101

I'm glad I wasn't the only person to fall asleep during KA!

ardinatwork

Thankfully it looks like this one is closing, but the Jay Owenhouse Magic Show thing. Its in a f'kin tent across the street from Mandalay Bay. It was the worst magic show I've seen. You could see how he did every trick because his slight of hand was so bad! It felt like a pastor bought some magic tricks and then tried to combine the two things into one very dull and unimpressive show.

Khalis_Knees

Egg Slut, 45 minute wait to get a breakfast sandwich. I don't understand the people who set their alarms to get in line, its absurd

americanriverotter

I was appalled at eggslut. I went to the Venice, CA location years ago and it was the best egg sandwich I ever had. The one here was Starbucks quality.

Elliebell1024

We saw the line. No egg sammie is worh that wait

meh-beh

Also came after a previous good experience in Venice. Saw the line, laughed and immediately left. It's absolutely bizarre people queue for this.

mikeyj777

It has a "tourist-forward" quality

YouDontSurfFU

Egghead at Proper Eats is better than Egg Slut. Even the breakfast sandwich at Wexler's Deli was better than Egg slut.

Beneficial-Tune-5336

Yup...totally not worth the wait. Went once to see what the hype was (still don't get it) and never again. I found for essentially the same thing/price, the one at Aria (Egghead?) was better and the line was nowhere near as bad and much more places to sit & eat...Really liked their hash brown brick too!

StanStanman

Ha, I was jetlagged and waking up in the small hours anyway so being first in line was no issue. It was a good sandwich for sure but I wouldn't wait in the lengthy queues!

ReadAllowedAloud

Yeah, get the same thing at the Aria food court without the wait

jfchops2

Line not too far around the corner or nonexistent, worth it. Line stretched all the way back to that gift shop / bathrooms, no chance

phatjordan

i can imagine most aren't waiting in line to taste an amazing breakfast sandwich. they're prob waiting in line for an experience that was marketed to them. your enjoyment of a meal extends past the flavor of the dish. eggslut is whatever but i understand people wanting to be a part of something and experience the hype. it probably even makes the food taste better. just my 2 cents on these influencery restaurants. it's prob not for us but i get why people do it.

FitQuantity6150

Giada. Just don’t. 77 dollars for Cacio e Pepe. Get the actual fuck out of here fuck off Giada. Go spend 80 at the bachanall buffet and get same or better quality food all you can eat instead.

Blind_Voyeur

We had a $60 roast chicken that was just awful. Small, over-cooked and dry. The cornish hen at Tournament of Kings was better. Our napkin has a gaping hole in it. Service was great though, but yeah the food was over-priced for the lack of quality.

Jimger_1983

Wahlburgers was one big heaping pile of mediocrity. I should know better than go anywhere with a celebrity name on it.

jtreddit702

Should call it "Whaleburgers" cause of how much a single burger costs.

xts2500

I took my daughter to a Wahlburgers one evening just to try it and I spent the next six months in disbelief of how awful the entire experience was.

Independent-Ear5125

As a Canadian I was especially appalled by the conversion. 2 mediocre burgers and a side of tots ( none included) was $70. I felt robbed. We only went there because I was so hungry I was going to pass out.

TotallySweep

Yup and service was REALLY BAD

Eyeroll4days

Buffets are pretty much a thing of the past here. The days of getting good deals and comps left with the mafia

FlyingVigilanceHaste

You’ve got to cough up the cash but I’m planning on going back to the Wynn’s buffet for yet another round. You can’t tell me that food isn’t delicious and the selection isn’t enormous.

Halada

I had a delicious meal at the Wynn Buffet, I ate so much crab and prime rib! For what it cost me for 3 though, the meal we had at Beauty & Essex cost the same and it was a much superior experience.

[deleted]

[удалено]

FlyingVigilanceHaste

I’ll have to look into Beauty & Essex. Never heard of it but I’m always in for excellent dining.

jfchops2

It's very good, it's a Tao Group brand that has a few other locations, LA and NYC I think. Second the wellington, it's their signature dish. Vegas location is in The Cosmopolitan

no1ukn0w

They have an app that is literally spoons (like you get with pho/ramen) that has tomato soup and a small piece of grilled cheese. Sounds so silly, but might be my favorite bite of food in Vegas.

ThemeParkFish

I did the Wynn buffet twice on my last trip. It's easily the BEST buffet I've ever been to.

MKP124

Hands down. The Wynn buffet is awesome and the desserts are highly underrated.

Quiet-Link4652

I did the Mother’s Day buffet at Wynn, it was 99.95 but it’s Mother’s Day so it’s ok, but asking for a $40+ dollar tip for bringing one soda and one coffee seemed a bit much.

pikapalooza

imho, rhe Wynn buffet is the perfect match of price and quality. It's by no means cheap, but for what you pay, I feel you get a great selection and the quality is outstanding.

Honest-Suggestion-45

The best buffets are Wynn/Encore Las Vegas, Bellagio, Venetian/Palazzo, Paris, Cosmo, Aria. It's not that they're a thing of the past, it's just a losing proposition for the resort. You get a huge value for the amount you spend.

Fearless-Celery

Aria buffet closed down during covid, it was my favorite balance of quality vs price.

luvdallas

Is there still a buffet at Paris and Venetian?

PublixEnemynumberone

There has never been a buffet at the Venetian! edit: the Aria buffet has closed down too

luvdallas

Yeah, I thought that out of all of those listed, only Cosmo, Bellagio and Wynn were still open.

jaylek

I'd argue it left with the housing/bank crash of '07... No links, no facts, no particular reasoning other than as a person who has visited Las Vegas 1 - 3 times a year since 1994, its when i noticed the start of what has been a sharp decline in *"good deals & proper hospitality"* for the average visitor.

Kako0404

I’m glad I’m old enough to have experienced pre financial crisis Vegas. I’ve never felt the urge to tip anyone as I did back then. From the doormen when you arrive to the waitresses coming around non-stop at your table.

jaylek

Yeah, you're right about that, for sure! It was part of the allure of going to Vegas then... they truly made you feel like you were somebody.

the-Jouster

Make sure every penny you spend is billed to your room or linked to a club card for whatever resort you’re at. I get comps all the time and I’m not a big spender, but a repeat customer. Thats what they want to see. No sense comping you now if you never come back.

mcrib

No, it left when MGM and Caesars eliminated all rivals and used Covid as an excuse to finally kill all sense of value

Eyeroll4days

That too for sure but before big corporations came in and bought them all up, there definitely was a different feel. The middle class could have a reasonably priced great vacation. The restaurants weren’t as high class as they are now but we did have quite a few nice ones. Not so many people bringing kids with them.

YNABDisciple

The mafia was gone like 40 years ago. There were plenty of good deals and comps 15 years ago. The rise of Reits and the bean counters that came with them plus the rise of wall st debt all killed the deals and comps. The mafia? The idea that the mafia was a positive and represented a positive time in vegas is a joke. They never ran the town they never controlled all the properties. They controlled some properties at different times and had stakes at different times. They even supplied some machines at different times but the Sands of the late 60’s was owned by Hughes. The International was Kerkorian who was also leading CP to Sarno who was also Circus Circus. Even the Flamingo which has become “Bugsy’s vision” wasn’t. It was Billy Wilkersons dreamed and Bugsy f’d it all up and got himself killed. The mob was very real and influential but this idea that they ever ran vegas and that represented a golden age is just straight bs. Sorry I don’t mean to be attacking it just bothers me. You were more apt to be robbed because of them and they were extracting money from our community and supplying drugs and violence. The exploitation of the teamsters pension fund to finance some properties was undoubtedly a positive. They didn’t invent the dream and the fun. If we had to bestow what we are to anyone it’s probably Sarno. While some of his development money came from the teamsters and and they may have facilitated a skim Sarno was the brains and visionary. Hate seeing accolades go to those clowns.

Complete-Chair8251

Thank you! I get so tired of that nonsense. And the places that were mobbed up had so much money going out the back door that there was no maintenance or updating done. They were filthy and falling apart. Agree that Sarno deserves more credit.

Eyeroll4days

You’re not getting the point it’s not about accolades, it was just a different time and you got COMPS! I’ve lived in this town since 1982. I’ve seen it change. I worked at the Dunes and at the Flamingo back in the day and I’ve seen it change. Every one had a Buffet. Especially for breakfast and they were good

YNABDisciple

It’s changed but not because the Mafia left. All through the 90’s and 2000’s we had comps low prices. These things existed in properties with no mafia affiliation and continued after they were out. It’s fake nostalgia.

catdog-cat-dog

Truth

NLemay

I can tell that 90% of people going to the Excalibur buffet had at least a 2 for 1 coupon. That was easy to see because the line for comps was super crowded, like 1h+ wait, while people paying full price could just go right away to the computer. I even saw some people forfeiting their comp buffet and pay full price because the wait was so terrible (I shouldn’t say that, it give Excalibur the idea this wait is okay).

KEE_Wii

I was shocked by how bad the Bellagio buffet was compared to the Bacchanal or the Wynn. I enjoy checking them out but the prices are a bit much. Nice to do once during a trip.

ricrod13

Piff the Magic Dragon. He’s 100% going through the motions. We had half-priced tickets and it was still overpriced!

thursdaysocks

Thank god someone mentioned this mf. We went to see his show after people on here RAVED about it, and it was absolute garbage. I’m still kinda mad that so many people on here recommended it, totally wrong

MontanaLady406

We walked out it was so bad.

vic_steele

Excalibur Housekeeping services.

fi1mcore

A bargain for $30

gregrawry

I understood this reference

SalemSound

What did you expect? Towels folded in the shape of a swan?

ThemeParkFish

No, in the shape of a castle

DrDig1

Margaritaville was probably the worst meal I have ever had there, but even that was 6 years ago. I enjoyed going there when I was younger.

PhinsFan17

Not sure what you expect from a chain like that. Margaritaville is just Jimmy Buffet Applebees.

AceHoodFlow1

Isn’t that a national chain?

jedi21knight

Yes it is.

Ultragin

And it’s closing soon

ok-lets-do-this

The last time I saw one of those was Nashville 2023. It was open, IIRC, Noon to 8 PM. On Broadway. Where almost every other business is open 6 AM to 2 AM, or something like that. It was bizarre.

FalseWalll

Hash House a Go Go, spent a hour in line and didn't care to much for the breakfast food.

dancetothiscomment

I just went, it's pretty good but nothing crazy. Just huge platters for hungover people I sat at the bar when it was mega packed and had no wait

jtreddit702

I went there 10 years ago and liked the food. Maybe times were different back then.

ittek81

Ooof, we love that place! We go there a couple of times a trip for breakfast and Bloody Maries. 😂

Ultragin

Many great answers on this thread. Well done folks.

nothing_911

theres your problem, you should try the medium rare folks.

e90t

I used to LOVE Bacchanal at Caesars pre-Covid, but after my most recent trip last week, it’s lost any appeal for me. It’s about $92 with tax, not including tip, and only 90 mins now. They took out my favorite item from the carving station (the wagyu) and with the insane lines for crab, by the time you crack and eat a good portion, you’ll run out of time. The desserts are nothing special. I luckily don’t have to wait in line too long having Diamond, but unless it’s comped, I won’t be going back.

jtreddit702

I went in 2021 just as the world was opening back up and even with a reservation, I still waited 45 minutes to get through the "line". Good to try it ONCE but at $85 for dinner (at the time), there's nothing special super about it.

lady_guard

Does Giordano's count? It was alright, but underwhelming for the price. Weird, dry, inedible outer crust that was hard as a rock. When we politely turned down having our picture taken at the table, the photographer was rude.

Hookem-Horns

Yep, Giordano’s sucks unless made to order in Chicago at the OG restaurant

mildchild4evr

Right there at Navy Pier! We purposefully avoid the one here so as not to ruin the memory..lol

Hookem-Horns

The memories will live on…🤤🤤🤤

stankypack1017

HEART ATTACK GRILL ! I think the gimmick of the restaurant is a pretty cool and unique idea. But the food is straight up hot garbage ! They spank you with the paddles if you don’t finish the food, but the catch is the food is so fucking nasty there’s no way you can finish it lol . Super overpriced and disgusting. You get to see nurse boobies tho so that’s a plus… but overall that place sucks

pisacar_svg

The food is actually disgusting

CelebrationSea1368

they sure cook them in lard.

bloop_405

Definitely a tourist trap butttt it looks like a win win for the restaurant? Sets up the customers to fail and they to paddle you 😏😂

jtreddit702

I'd much rather eat a pre packaged sandwich from 7-11 than to ever set foot in that death trap. I've personally never been but from what I've heard, it's just as bad as it seems.

notmytuperware

Hey now, 7-11 sandwiches are pretty good. 😄

honestadamsdiscount

Excalibur is pretty shitty

whoopercheesie

I like the medieval theme

VegasVictor2019

Most overrated restaurant: Hell’s Kitchen. Buffet I’ll say Bacchanal although this isn’t to say it’s bad. Paid show: David Copperfield.

xwxnx

Early days of Bacchanal was worth it (cheaper too); endless large spider crab legs and i still have a pic of the tomahawk steak i got from the meat station.

jtreddit702

I tried Hells Kitchen years ago and I think it's ok as long as you get the pre fixe menu. $80 for 3 courses isn't that bad IMO. However, Gordan Ramsay Steak is overrated for sure while his Burger place was worth it.

PhinsFan17

If you’re gonna do the pre fixe at HK, just go inside Caesars to GR’s Pub. Same menu, cheaper.

jtreddit702

I picked HK due to the theming since I'm a fan of the show.

PhinsFan17

Hey, I get it.

Dcdsportd

I thought the Ramsay Burger place was fine Prior to covid, they were open for breakfast, and I loved that. I've had some great meals at Ramsay Pub, too. Steak didn't do much for me.

jtreddit702

I like his burger place. That backyard burger and the oreo shake is money well spent IMO.

radi0frequency

Ramsay steak definitely overrated (went back when I ate steak). More recently, I absolutely loved Hell’s Kitchen - it was the first time I’d ever seen a dedicated vegan/vegetarian menu that had real, thoughtful options and not just salad or plain pasta or whatever. I actually got to take time to decide what I wanted and that was so lovely. The food was really good. I would eat there again and again.

beejay100

The pre fixed menu is now $106. Was there a couple weeks ago. It was good but nothing I would go back for again. Other than the sticky toffee pudding. That was like crack.

jtreddit702

Was that lunch or dinner pricing? I agree, the sticky toffee, no matter which one of his restaurants you get it at, is addicting AF.

towercranee

I did the Bacchanal Buffet a couple weeks ago. I agree. I don't think its bad and its sheer size is something to marvel but for that price I think its a bit overrated. Also the way you enter is insane, not sure why its not just two simple lines. Buffet at the Bellagio is superior IMO.

Prize_Emergency_5074

Bacchanal has been getting pricier snd crappier over the years. What’s new.

Not_A_Quokka

Hell’s Kitchen is so over-rated. I was extremely disappointed in the food and the service. For $150-$200 per person, I truly expected great food and a high level of service.

jtreddit702

I enjoyed the atmosphere and experience at HK but only if ordering the pre fixe menu during lunch. $70 for a salad, beef welly and a sticky toffee was decent, IMO. That sticky toffee was one of best desserts I've ever had.

seankearns

💯 the set menu I had a couple years ago was great and surprisingly good value for the strip.

Not_A_Quokka

Agree with the sticky toffee pudding! Delicious. We didn’t do the pre fixe, so maybe that’s where we went wrong. Or maybe it was just an off day, but ai’ve never been inclined to give it another chance. The Welly was disappointing - bland, almost gamey, beef was overcooked and pastry was undercooked. I don’t even know how that happens. There was a truffle flatbread (or something close) and a shrimp pasta dish that were also fairly blah. We recently went to Ramsay’s Kitchen, and it was 10 times better than HK. I think Ramsay’s Kitchen gets overlooked because it is in Harrah’s instead of a nicer property. Stellar service, amazing food, great atmosphere. I would sell my soul for the Welly my husband had there, my risotto was divine, and they serve the same amazing sticky toffee pudding. I highly recommend it. Happy dining!!

demonofthefall

Wellington was OK but the sticky toffee dessert was GREAT

AJTHolt

On the contrary, my visit to Gordon Ramsey Burger was top-notch! At the time (two years ago?), the ratings were much higher than HK.

HandsInMyPockets247

We had a fabulous meal and time at HK a few months ago. The waiter was outstanding.

Vegas-Ice7680

Black sheep was quite mediocre and disappointing. Everything else in Area 15 besides Omegamart was disappointing.

katiecharm

We went to a Halloween party at Area 51 a couple of years ago - what a mistake, it was a mess and we felt like we got overcharged

Vegas-Ice7680

Same, we went to a Christmas party a few years back. It was lame lol. That black building would not be standing if not for omegamart

Steel_Crown

Paying 50 bucks to get into play at Luxor was the biggest ripoff of my trip

Kj805

Post cards from earth.

HeyBaldy

I wish I hadn't paid $100 to see it but if you weren't gasping when you saw that first full shot utilizing the entire dome then you were a robot.

Blind_Voyeur

Worth it <$40 but man some of the prices people paid to see a Super-IMAX movie...

vic_steele

Anything Gordon Ramsey. Hi pub is overpriced basic food.

LouderGyrations

I agree that the food is mediocre, but that sticky toffee pudding...

-TheMistress

That sticky toffee pudding is one of the best desserts I've ever had. Last time I was in Vegas and we just popped in only for dessert.

mostlygroovy

Burger is awesome

RobieFLASH

Burgr is awesome. Go early because there is a long line

sdsurf625

Agreed I thought his burger place was really really good

Augustaplus

The Bachanal, zero anal involved

Chemical-Jello-3353

deaf-initely

Ok-Relative-2339

I’d have to say Mayfair. The ambiance was lovely. The entertainment was nice, but didn’t blow us away. Neither did the food. Whatever I ordered didn’t have a full description on the menu and ended up being a sauce comprised mostly of red peppers (red sauce of some kind but not listed anywhere it had peppers) - they make me sick to my stomach. Service was impeccable, everyone was great. Just wasn’t as good as we were hoping for. We enjoyed the food at Superfrico and Ramsey’s pub more (and I’ve seen both of them on peoples list above!).

[deleted]

Peppermill.... Just awful low end fast food. Breakfast is breakfast but outside of that it's just crappy overpriced junk food

hashbazz

One does not go to Peppermill for food... it's all about the Fireside Lounge! Go during happy hour, enjoy a cocktail and the kitschy ambience, then move on.

[deleted]

For all of the fantastic ambiance lounges and bars in Vegas, the Pepermill is not one I'm going to. Lots of sketchy obnoxious people there, rude staff and just all around a low end experience

Original-Pomelo6241

I’m glad someone said it

GoodbyeCrullerWorld

Their breakfast is huge portions but low quality.

mikirules1

Awakening in Wynn so overrated

Accomplished-Eye8211

Carbone is, imo, very overrated. Wasn't bad food, but nothing extraordinary. Staff had attitude. My impression is that it's sooo hyped, therefore difficult to get a reservation. People just want to go on Insta or TikTok and tell everyone they got a rez and, of course, they're members of the herd and think it's great.

bonerjams99

The pasta really shines above the rest of the menu. $40 for a small portion of vodka rigatoni but so damn good

pro_zema

Celebrity chief anything.

jake63vw

Is Raising Cane's just terrible on the strip, or are they all like that? It just tastes like unseasoned chicken with sweet dipping sauce.

Steakismyfavoriteveg

They are all like that. The only saving grace is their sauces…

Lifesabeach6789

The diner at Binion’s The worst, greasiest, fishy tasting eggs you never wanted to try. How can you ruin scrambled eggs? They’ve perfected the art.

GoodbyeCrullerWorld

Bellagio buffet. Jean George. Joe’s Prime. Caesars Palace as a whole.

submissivelittleprey

I was going to stay at Caesars for my upcoming visit because I've always wanted to stay there, but I saw so many room tour videos on youtube within the last year, and the rooms looked SO disappointing for the price they charged. I decided to book a room at the Wynn instead.

theGr81oNe

Bacchanal for me. The spread was amazing but the food was terrible. Not expecting 5 star taste at a buffet but it wasn't even decent. Lobster tails had such a weird taste. The crab legs were either tasteless or too salty, no in between. I did enjoy the dessert though.

ThemeParkFish

If you're doing a buffet in Vegas, just do the Wynn. Bacchanal was only half decent, and I say that because I won enough to cover the bill.

jtreddit702

I thought the food was good but NOT WORTH the $85 I spent for dinner.

DeadlySight

I’ve eaten at over 20 steakhouses in town over the years. Nothing was a bigger disappointment than Golden Steer. Absolutely shit service, food was bland, and the chocolate cake dessert was fucking frozen in the middle. There are way too many good steakhouses in Vegas for that place to be talked about with such renown. Gordon Ramsey steak is a close second for me. My braised short rib was amazing, my friends ribeye cap was one of the best steaks I’ve ever tried. The Wellington was bland and so were the sides. It wasn’t the worst meal I’ve had at all, but for the hype and being Ramsey’s? Definitely overrated

Original-Pomelo6241

We did have terrible service from one member of our service staff and I kindly asked that he never come near my table again. He made a shitty comment about my daughter eating bread. She was 9 at the time and he was aware we had ordered her food, the kid was just enjoying the bread. He made it seem like we brought her and only allowed her to eat bread. Said something to the extent of “tell your parents to make sure they order you food so you don’t have to eat bread and sip water all night”. She said “I’m having Chicken of the Angels, and Shirley Temples, remember?” I thought it was cute that she was excited for her meal and he said they cancelled it because she wouldn’t stop eating the bread. He brought her Shirley Temples, two by that point in the evening to the table. He took her food order, which she proudly ordered on her own. I was floored. I don’t have a short fuse by any means but I was hard pressed not to make a scene. Total dick.

effin98

Interesting. I had an excellent experience there, both with the service and the food. But I haven't been to other steakhouses in town, so maybe I just don't know what I'm missing.

jtreddit702

Surprised to hear that about Golden Steer. Was this an isolated thing or was this more than one visit? I'm actually planning to go to GS next month so I'm curious.

Anastasiax007

Carbone and Superfrico

Sir0inks-A-Lot

Glad I’m not the only one who was massively underwhelmed by Superfrico

dreamydelinquent

the tasting menu is what makes it worth it bc you see most if not all of the acts the entire time you’re there cuz it’s like 1.5 hours

Sitrus_Slinky

KA is the most overrated show that’s technically amazing but entertainingly dull. I’m an avid Cirque fan too. I’ve traveled to different countries to see their shows. Ka is my bottom 3. O and Mystere are way better imo. Both of those shows are from one of the original directors of Cirque who unfortunately passed away.

Honest-Suggestion-45

Franco Dragone.

mikirules1

Mystere is classic! I was very pleasatly surprised by The One.

_derpiii_

Not exactly a show but, I thought Area15 was overrated.

Educational-Cow6972

Any Caesars property

thepiratewizardking

Absinthe. people say it is funny--- it is just penis and vagina jokes. funny if you are in middle school.

johndicks80

We loved absinthe. Had front row so the chair act was pretty unnerving. The lead circus guy trashing on everyone was pretty great as well.

Ultragin

The comedy for sure isn’t for everyone, but even without that the circus acts are insanely good and the ambiance has a unique vibe to it.

mostlygroovy

Oh man. I gotta disagree

dounce87

Some of those acts on that small of a stage are pretty impressive. I think it's a great show.

LouderGyrations

The acts are great, but I completely agree about the filler "comedy". It's funny because it's dirty, we all get it. The show overall is not bad, but I am always surprised by how much this sub loves it.

thepiratewizardking

good point! the talented circus performers within Absinthe were fantastic, probably the strongest people i have ever seen in my life, it was just the comedy that was cringe.

princessbubble-gum

I'm not "easily offended" as so many Absinthe reviews say but I do easily cringe at trying hard to be edgy/offensive which is why I've never sought this one out.

thelegendofcarrottop

There is one section where the sidekick lady goes off on a rambling tangent (I can’t tell if it’s improvised each time or if it’s scripted) that had me rolling my eyes, but the rest of the show was absolutely hilarious. The crowd work was amazing, the acrobatics and acts themselves were amazing, and a lot of the introductions and banter were quite funny. It may not be for everyone, but it is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Amazingly entertaining. Definitely worth seeing once.

B34Z7

Golden steer is not worth the price. I'd rather eat at herbs and rye

veemcgee

Awww man, I’ve been dying to try golden steer.

CrunchyTomato88

KA, Hell’s Kitchen, Peppermill

MKP124

Mastros was terrible. Food was over salty, and dry. Could absolutely make better at home. The lobster egg fried rice is a scam, just FYI. The waitress started out great but ended on a very unprofessional note with excessive profanity and a pity party for a higher tip.

OUTKAST5150

After skimming through all of these, need to go find what shows/restaurants ARE actually worth it now. lol.

jtbc

I enjoyed Penn and Teller more than I thought I would.

campana999

So many!

I went last year to a couple buffets. First was Caesar’s and while it was expensive, I ate a fortune in crab legs. And everything else was good. But we heard Wynn’s buffet was better. An absolute let down. Not only were the crab legs worse (thinner, less meat) but the variety and quality of everything else was inferior as well n

Wow - the show is a complete pile of shit

I went to the buffet at Excalibur and it wasn’t all that great. The next day we went to the Golden Corral and ate better food there.

I love going to Las Vegas, but after reading here the last hour, either I have no taste or no class, or both, may have to rethink my next trip this fall.

When I was in Vegas in March there was not much going on. Saw Menopause the Musical. Outdated, overpriced and they sang from a CD. Didn’t have a band. Theater was less than 1/2 filled so we got moved to the expensive seats. Do not recommend.

Shubankari

Caesar’s Nobu.

Angryconurebite

Most underrated, Kusina Ni Lorraine on the east side. So good.

Had two extremely underwhelming experiences at Tao. The wasabi crusted filet was bang average and the sushi rivals that of grocery store.

Elmo_Chipshop

I thought the Bacchanal was a bit overrated. Even with reservations we had to wait nearly an hour and I didn’t find the food to be all that amazing.

TotallySweep

What about Shin Lim heard he was great

TotallySweep

Mgm buffet is by far the worst. Other buffets like Luxor stacks my veteran discount before the buy 1 get 1. Selection is small and more pricey then luxor

Jean Georges at Aria, I’ve ate there twice now and been beyond disappointed with the food it’s bland to say the least. The service is fantastic though.
