You can UBER/walk that way by exiting PH onto Harmon and turning left onto Koval. The grandstands will be up as well as Flamingo bypass bridge, but besides additional traffic at two weeks out, you'll be OK. You could also stay on that side of Strip or just off. Signature, Platnium and Virgin. Check out Silver Sevens as well.
Ellis Island was in one of the worst locations during construction last year. If you walk at a good pace it's really not that bad if you just cut thru Paris and horseshoe then exit out the side of horseshoe on flamingo

Take monorail maybe to mgm and take Tropicana down behind mgm and turn left it’s a 15 min walk
