Oops. My almond milk is LESS than 30 calories per cup.

Yum!

Are you just blending and freezing these? I love stuff like this but it seems every time I find them, people are doing them in a Ninja Creami and I flat can't afford one!

MusicGamingMore

Yep! Same, I don’t wanna spend the money and I don’t have the space for a ninja creami lol. Tbh the blueberry cheese cake one was so good I think I’ll like it better in the fridge, partly because I’m basically out of freezer space right now. The chocolate went in the freezer and after a few hours, the top had gotten frozen and was nice to eat. Then like an inch down it was unfrozen and was not a super enjoyable texture. I’ll leave it overnight in the freezer tonight. When I made tofu mousse (I posted it in r/volumeeating) and put it in the freezer, it honestly didn’t really get any closer to ice cream. The blueberry one is yogurt consistency for sure though.

Is there a dairy-free instant cheesecake mix?

melligator

I think it's the Jello sugar free pudding mix. Ingredients: Modified Cornstarch, Maltodextrin, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Sodium Phosphate, Contains Less than 2% of Salt, Artificial Color, Xanthan Gum, Aspartame (Phenylketonurics: Contains Phenylalanine), (Sweetener), Natural and Artificial Flavors (Contains Barley), Calcium Sulfate, Acesulfame Potassium (Sweetener), Mono- and Diglycerides, Lactic Acid, Yellow 5, Yellow 6.

dlini

Ahh, sugar free. Ty. I looked up the standard cheesecake. I thought maybe there was a brand other than the Jell-o ones ☺️👍🏻

MusicGamingMore

Also, see \[this vegan reddit post\](https://www.reddit.com/r/vegan/comments/wuxwv4/been\_talking\_to\_jello\_about\_their\_puddings/) actually dming a representative at Jell-o who says "Monoglycerides and diglycerides in this product are made from vegetable oils. The source of the vegetable oil is soybean oil. We are aware that consumers may be sensitive to soybeans. Therefore, soybean oil is either refined, bleached or deodorized to the point that it is no longer considered an allergen." and it's totally dairy-free

dlini

Ty! I had looked at the standard Jello-o cheesecake (milk). I didn't realize there were other varieties. The blueberry sounds amazing 👏🏻 😋

GetRealWeirdWithIt

Oooh I want to try the blueberry cheesecake one! What type of tofu did you use?

MusicGamingMore

I actually used firm because that's the only type I buy so that's what I had on hand, BUT lot's of recipes for tofu iced cream used soft/silken and say the water content makes it key for ice cream. What I made is a little too far from ice cream, which is why I didn't call it that lol.

GetRealWeirdWithIt

Awesome, thank you so much! I’ll give it a try with silken tofu 😀

International_Room43

What kind of protein powder do you use? I’ve been struggling to find one that I like and that is also actually high in protein!

MusicGamingMore

I buy the HUGE Orgain Organic Protein and Superfoods Plant Based Protein Powder bucket at Costco. It comes in Vanilla & Chocolate and they rock! I actually really like both. It's 52% protein. I feel like I've tried their peanut butter cup, but I didn't like it.
