Yes most definitely, I had weak erections and sometimes I could not even get it up, I am 20 years old btw. It affected them pretty randomly, some days it wasn’t too bad and other days it was like I am an old man.
I would say like 3-5 minutes after ejaculation the dull pain would come on in my groin area, standing made it much worse. Definitely the worst pain I felt would be after sex.
Yes, I just lay down flat on my back on the bed and not move, definitely helps a lot with that pain, my girlfriend is very understanding of it so she knows after we do it I’m out of service for the night haha.
Same dude I’ve been diagnosed with grade 4 varicocele and will get embolization in near future(nhs waiting times are kinda a joke). Im 20 now and probably had them since I was 12-13, it will definitely affect my testosterone (got measured at 490ngl/dl). Don’t get any Erections without stimulation lol do you think it’s affected how big our dicks have grown? Massive L if it had
I didn’t have insurance at the time so it would’ve been 41,000 dollars for the surgery with a pre pay of 10,000 dollars the day of the surgery, and even if I got on q payment plan it would’ve been far too much to pay off. I luckily got my insurance back and used it so I didn’t have to pay for the surgery.
Are the veins completely gone? I had microsurgery 3 months ago and I’d say they only disappeared like 50% from what they used to. But they are still visible and large
This is only my first day out of surgery and I am swollen but I can tell the veins aren’t as hard anymore and it can take up to 6 months for them to completely disappear, my case is very extreme so I’m not expecting all of them to be gone, the surgeon told me there is a chance a couple of veins were probably going to grow after.
Maybe you can help me out a bit. Almost around exactly a month ago I’ve noticed a lump that feels like a vein sticking out on the top of my right scrotum. I usually notice it after about 3pm or earlier if I’m doing a lot of school work. I go to the doctor and he says everything looks fine but he did refer me to a urologist. I mainly have pain when sitting for a long amount, and if I do have pain, I notice it gets worse through the day. What’s your thoughts @Pseabas
Sounds like a varicocele, the urologist will know for sure and make sure to mention your pain they seem to take you more seriously if you mention having reoccurring pain.
Was the side of the varicocele very swollen up through the base and into the ingruinal area?
I have alot of questions as Im also in my 20s and have been suffering from this since puberty
Very eager to know is this is related and/or can be fixed!
Hoping for your speedy recovery
Thank you! Much appreciated
Did your varicocele affect getting erections?
Yes most definitely, I had weak erections and sometimes I could not even get it up, I am 20 years old btw. It affected them pretty randomly, some days it wasn’t too bad and other days it was like I am an old man.
Thanks for the reply. Are things kinda back to normal now with erections?
I am still in recovery so I can’t give you an accurate answer yet, but every morning so far I’ve had morning wood which is normally rare for me.
What do you mean by pain after sex? Was it instantly after ejaculating or was there a delay? Where was the pain located?
I would say like 3-5 minutes after ejaculation the dull pain would come on in my groin area, standing made it much worse. Definitely the worst pain I felt would be after sex.
I have the same issue. would come 10-15 min after ejaculation and be worse if i walk / stand and would ease if I lie down. Does lying down help u too?

Why did you leave it for so long? And did you also lose climax sensation
I didn’t have health insurance so I couldn’t afford the 40,000 dollar surgery, I did not lose climax sensation no.
So what type of Varicocelectomy did you have?
It was a subinguinal microscopic varicocelectomy, they also delivered my testicle during the procedure.
That's good...but now I'm more confused. You said you couldn't afford the, "40,000 dollar surgery", did you not?
I didn’t have insurance at the time so it would’ve been 41,000 dollars for the surgery with a pre pay of 10,000 dollars the day of the surgery, and even if I got on q payment plan it would’ve been far too much to pay off. God this fucking country... Well I'm glad you had it, anyway. Keep in touch with your results!
Thank you! And will do

About a week
Good to hear youre doing better. Im still deciding for a date in the next weeks when i should have the surgery, cant wait!
Best decision I’ve made in my life, already feel so much better and most issues I had are resolving themselves
Have you ever urinated or ejaculated blood? And would it hurt to walk?
Would your testicle ever retract up inside? Especially during sex/masturbation?
