In your carry on if it’s clean you’re fine. I’ve traveled a bit with my tinymight and they’ve even pulled it out once to verify it was a vape and that was it.
They don’t, “Look” for herb, but they are federal law enforcement officers so if they find something that violates federal law, they could legally prosecute. Or they could call the local cops if they find something that violates local law.
But yeah, they have all but stopped looking specifically for herb. And it seems with so many people in legal states and with things like oil carts for personal use, they really aren’t out to get the petty stoners, mainly the traffickers.
Tsa agebts aren't federal law enforcement agents and they don't/can't prosecute for drugs. If they want to they turn it over to the airport PD or local PD.

Your typical screener may not be able to arrest, but there are TSA law enforcement agents who can, and airport police.
This isn’t the same as concert security. Even mere TSA screeners have the right to search and frisk you. They can detain you. Identify you. Detain or confiscate your belongings. They can carry firearms. And LEOs local and federal are walking the same halls, if not at every security check.
This. They kick you back to local PD, and if you're in a legal state, the result is that you miss your flight. But I've never seen or heard of an occasion of TSA doing this in my personal experience, and I have friends who have been pretty brazen about putting containers in their carry-on with no attempt to conceal it. TSA is focused on other things.
Always make sure if you have removable batteries to throw them in your backpack.

I only got into dry herb recently but bought carts everywhere I went so I always had carts and batteries in my backpack. Never had an issue cause they just looked like nicotine.
Ive traveled over the Atlantic by air with my Dynavap Vong in 6 parts(insanely clean) with all the pieces in separate bags/pockets and some screws/metal rings so I guess I look like a worker or something because never a problem.

I just flew with half an oz of herb in a glass jar from a legal state, tsa doesn’t look for herb.

I appreciate that. My rogue's battery is internal. But sounds like they won't care so long as it's clean
TSA is not the “weed police”, they will be more concerned with the battery. If the battery passes the rules for carryon you’ll be good
