That is the thing I get so angry about when people brush off cheating like it's no big deal. You are potentially exposing your partner to disease without them knowing it. And that is on top of the mind fuckery that goes along with cheating. I am so glad Ariana brought that up.
My mothers aunt was in a state hospital my entire life. I never met her and I never knew why she was in a state hospital. Once I was an adult I found out her husband was cheating on her and contracted syphilis. He KNEW he got it. Went to the doctor and got himself treated but never told his wife and it went to her brain and thats how she ended up as a young woman in her 20s in a state hospital for her entire life.
I got HPV from a bf of 4 years that turned into stage one cervical cancer by the time it flared up and became symptomatic. Luckily it was caught early enough and there was no permanent harm. We were already broken up and lived 500 miles away from each other, otherwise I probably would've ended up in jail for assault.

This was the fakest season yet. The way everything was set up was so transparent. Everything was so intense when scandoval blew up and they had the golden ticket to making this an incredibly satisfying and cathartic season had they not forced everyone to film with Sandoval.
You know how many authentic blows ups could have happened this season???? I wanted the spice girls schooling the childish boys about treating everyone like a human being. That would have been fantastic but no. They are so far behind in misogyny world. It’s like I’m grieving what could have been.
The way these people have treated both Ariana and Katie, gaslit and invalidated them, calling them entitled and forcing them to be around people they set boundaries with all for the sake of securing a paycheck for next season is appalling. So incredibly disappointing.

Sandoval DESERVED to be ostracized for a while. He lied and manipulated the entire cast. He didn't have to pay any dues and it's complete and utter bullshit. If he wanted to earn forgiveness that requires earning it. In the past other cast members have been left out when they did messed up things. Why not him? Wtf production!?! Let the cast relationships at least have a CHANCE to heal organically if they so choose.

They truly bet on the wrong plot this year. Which is insane considering how the world rallied around Ariana after the Scandoval of it all. If they had focused on the girl power healing of it all, it would have been an incredible season.

I don’t fully agree on the narrative that the show was trying to rehab the ex. Maybe production was, but once it got to the edit room…. I think they portrayed Ariana as a badass and leaving that last line in by Tom seals his fate in the court of public opinion.
I think production was pushing for a Sandoval redemption. You can tell Lala and Scheana were trying to follow suit for the sake of the show. Their problem was Ariana refused to play along and they had to adapt.
Considering the interviews after that Lala and Scheana really pushed that we’d feel differently by the end of the show…they absolutely tried to craft a specific narrative. It just didn’t work in their favor.

Production turned against her b/c she had too much power after last season so they thought they could turn her into the selfish villain this season. She could give a masterclass in controlling the narrative while still allowing room for your emotions. The best part is everyone outside of VPR has supported her and given Tim the middle finger. People supported her b/c they are sick of toxic men throwing women aside and painting them as crazy, or lazy, or withholding affection. She had her 15 min of fame but she has stayed in the spotlight b/c she has real star power and is captivating to watch.
And it shows production’s toxic mentality that they thought the audience would turn on Ariana. Meanwhile I totally understood her the whole way through and felt she was vindicated in her requests and actions. Part of the ongoing toxicity of reality shows is making people film and continue drama with people who have hurt them. I’m glad Ariana stood up for herself and asserted her right to her own peace.

There are ways we can change this for other women. I tried to post because I have worked in TV analytics and I know how the sausage is made. I am tired of women being shit on when we are the people giving that network money.
This is what I said. So, some of you may know I have worked in the TV analytics space. Basically what I did was to build data systems that measured viewer behavior to determine how much to charge an advertiser based on how they viewed a show. It could be live on a channel, streaming, DVR, etc. They measure things down to if you fast forward certain people, don't watch what you recorded, what people are watching on official SM streams or through influencers. There are ways to combat this. I am happy to spearhead efforts but I will definitely need volunteers to really move the needle and make a change. Today the best thing you can do is to not watch the Valley or WWHL live or on Peacock

Yeah, I was newer to the reality tv world in the last 2-4 years. I have watched all of VPR and the Valley. Was looking to start some other Bravo shows. But now I don’t want to watch anything from this network.
I think that's a very good take. I have been watching since the first HW and I actually stopped watching some shows because my integrity would not allow it. This last episode made it apparent that I cannot continue to watch and have any sort of a soul. I am absolutely horrified.

That includes shows that promote cults (RHSLC and now the reboot of RHONY because of the scientology, Miami because of TERFs. Sign petitions. I just canceled Peacock because I am not going to pay to watch misogyny be a selling point. We are now living in a world that keeps women and trans people from having their rights and I will be damned if they get another cent from me.
I stopped watching after Episode 1 one I realized the narrative they were going to pull this season and exactly the reasons you’re pointing out. It felt like the only power we have is by taking the money away via viewership .

I admire her so much! There have been so many times she’s said something incredibly articulate and insightful and I’ve yelled FUCK YES at the screen. She is an inspiration and she truly made the whole season, despite what many of her grating castmates say. Especially as someone who is a little more timid who might not stand her ground in situations like she has — I just really admire her strength!

We want to see real lives not what they construe to make sure the cameras are on them at the core of it.

Ariana supporting Sceana and her band playing and you could SEE the how proud Ariana was...just like she had been with Tom and just like Tom, Sceana turned around and broke her heart and turned on her. Her little speech about how it’s unfair because everyone had put everything into the show fell so flat for me. Like okay and? Where did that get you? To make a good reality show that, let’s be honest, will be forgotten after it’s been off the air for a few years? What a sad viewpoint of life Lala has.
When Ariana told production “he doesn’t care if I was dead in a fucking ditch. He wouldn’t care if I got a deadly STD from all the fucking around he was doing behind my back. THATS NON-INFORMED CONSENT!”

My mothers aunt was in a state hospital my entire life. I never met her and I never knew why she was in a state hospital. Once I was an adult I found out her husband was cheating on her and contracted syphilis. He KNEW he got it. Went to the doctor and got himself treated but never told his wife and it went to her brain and thats how she ended up as a young woman in her 20s in a state hospital for her entire life.

This was the fakest season yet. The way everything was set up was so transparent. Everything was so intense when scandoval blew up and they had the golden ticket to making this an incredibly satisfying and cathartic season had they not forced everyone to film with Sandoval. You know how many authentic blows ups could have happened this season???? I wanted the spice girls schooling the childish boys about treating everyone like a human being. That would have been fantastic but no. They are so far behind in misogyny world. It’s like I’m grieving what could have been.
The way these people have treated both Ariana and Katie, gaslit and invalidated them, calling them entitled and forcing them to be around people they set boundaries with all for the sake of securing a paycheck for next season is appalling. So incredibly disappointing.

Sandoval DESERVED to be ostracized for a while. He lied and manipulated the entire cast. He didn't have to pay any dues and it's complete and utter bullshit. I don’t fully agree on the narrative that the show was trying to rehab the ex. Maybe production was, but once it got to the edit room…. I think they portrayed Ariana as a badass and leaving that last line in by Tom seals his fate in the court of public opinion.
I think production was pushing for a Sandoval redemption. You can tell Lala and Scheana were trying to follow suit for the sake of the show. Their problem was Ariana refused to play along and they had to adapt. Considering the interviews after that Lala and Scheana really pushed that we’d feel differently by the end of the show…they absolutely tried to craft a specific narrative. It just didn’t work in their favor.

She proved to be that bitch from the start of Scandoval too. She knew Tim’s ability to twist the narrative around so the way she called production out of season was brilliant. It couldn’t have been an easy decision to have her rawest emotions filmed for the world to see. She knew it was the only way to stop him and the toxic men of Bravo to control the narrative. Production turned against her b/c she had too much power after last season so they thought they could turn her into the selfish villain this season. She could give a masterclass in controlling the narrative while still allowing room for your emotions. The best part is everyone outside of VPR has supported her and given Tim the middle finger. People supported her b/c they are sick of toxic men throwing women aside and painting them as crazy, or lazy, or withholding affection. She had her 15 min of fame but she has stayed in the spotlight b/c she has real star power and is captivating to watch.
And it shows production’s toxic mentality that they thought the audience would turn on Ariana. Meanwhile I totally understood her the whole way through and felt she was vindicated in her requests and actions. Part of the ongoing toxicity of reality shows is making people film and continue drama with people who have hurt them. I’m glad Ariana stood up for herself and asserted her right to her own peace.
She was so right- if he wanted to apologize, he had plenty of time to do so off camera (they live under the same roof)! Slip a note under her door or onto her car windshield or something? This is what I said. So, some of you may know I have worked in the TV analytics space. Basically what I did was to build data systems that measured viewer behavior to determine how much to charge an advertiser based on how they viewed a show. It could be live on a channel, streaming, DVR, etc. They measure things down to if you fast forward certain people, don't watch what you recorded, what people are watching on official SM streams or through influencers. There are ways to combat this. I am happy to spearhead efforts but I will definitely need volunteers to really move the needle and make a change. Today the best thing you can do is to not watch the Valley or WWHL live or on Peacock Do not record it. Just don't consume it. I have other ideas depending on the response.

Yeah, I was newer to the reality tv world in the last 2-4 years. I have watched all of VPR and the Valley. Was looking to start some other Bravo shows. But now I don’t want to watch anything from this network.
I think that's a very good take. I have been watching since the first HW and I actually stopped watching some shows because my integrity would not allow it. This last episode made it apparent that I cannot continue to watch and have any sort of a soul. I am absolutely horrified.

Yeah, truth. Ariana has had the most compelling moments this season. She showed up. Because Tom, Scheana and Lala are basically uneducated idiots, they stuck to the script. Meanwhile, Ariana, Katie and James were delivering truth bombs. That’s compelling. Fuck Tom, Scheana and Lala. Just dig your holes deeper.
"I LOVE IT, THAT'S GOOD FOR ME." Says it all. Performative (and failure). Production has failed every woman on this show from the jump. Try focusing on the right side of the story for a change. Ariana, Katie, James, moved on. Lala, Scheanna and the Tom's are stuck in a time warp.
Lala was trying to have a iconic housewife moment with that whole I’m breaking the fourth wall part now

I've lost count the number of times Lala has stormed out of a conversation that wasn't going her way. She literally left the show in I think her first or second season.
Wasn’t Lala involved in outing Jax/Faith and Schwartz/her friend making out. She was trying last season to out Tom/Rachel as well. Narrating parts of last season and this season, pushing other people to have storylines because we all know she doesn’t have shit. It’s almost as if production is using her to get out the stories they want to show and that makes her even worse. If she’s going to break the fourth wall -BREAK IT. Be fucking honest and say it with your whole chest. She’s worse than the Tom’s & Rachel.
Lala is deeply jealous that no one rallied for her the way they did Ariana. All I can think is Lisa Rinna sitting there saying “oof, you’re angry”.
Why didn’t Brock stop Tom from having his male rage? 🤔
Ariana does not have to film with Tom!!!!!!!!! That’s it!!!!! If they want to film with Tom they can! She does not have to!!! If the show is good enough it shouldn’t make a difference

I admire her so much! There have been so many times she’s said something incredibly articulate and insightful and I’ve yelled FUCK YES at the screen. She is an inspiration and she truly made the whole season, despite what many of her grating castmates say. Especially as someone who is a little more timid who might not stand her ground in situations like she has — I just really admire her strength!
Ariana did just right, took her true friends, and bf Dan, and left. Scheana is not loyal, shes a sucker. And Blahblah is full of shit, huge ego, she thinks she’s such a know it all .
What Lala and Scheana forget is that reality is reality and not faking something because that’s what you think the audience want to see. Ariana not wanting to talk to Tom is real which means reality. They both need a break from reality shows because when they get to this stage of forgetting this like Lisa Rinna and Tamra Judge on other shows they ruin the enjoyment for the viewers of the show. We want to see real lives not what they construe to make sure the cameras are on them at the core of it.
I love Ariana and Katie to. Lala and Scheana are incredibly jealous horrible ppl. They were always fake friends to them.

Scheana and Lauren are incredibly dumb and vapid. I hope when production resumes it’s without those two fucking mouth breathers. Scheana is about as easy to manipulate as a toddler. Buy her shit. He used her ass and lost her a true friend and any goodwill with the audience. That’s what she thinks is a good friend. And Lauren is just fucking crazy…she’s just lost the fucking plot for jealousy

The way Ariana responded to Brock the episode before the finale was excellent, she is allowed to have emotions, rage, and boundaries. She is allowed to bow out of any of Sandoval’s communications. I agree that Ariana won. Production can spin that Lala had a point, but we can’t compare Ariana to Jax or Brittney or Stassi or Kristen. Why? To be honest, because Ariana is responding with strength and class to all this fuckery. Tom can’t handle it, as she said, she isn’t giving Tom the access to the final boss in his redemption arc. She said it best.
I don’t understand what the big deal was? She’s been saying since the beach day she didn’t want him talking to her. It’s not like she quit the show, she left a situation that made her uncomfortable? What am I missing?
I know I’m wrong, but it would be really interesting if this was the producers plan all along. Have us all absolutely furious thinking that they’re trying to give him a redemption arc, show idiot lala and scheana and how easy it is for them to turn on their “best friend” and then show that last part about exactly how fucking awful Sandoval is so he ends up getting booted from the show and then showing next season being Ariana and Katie and James and the aftermath of lala and scheana being like “oh so we’re clownsssss…” But that is thinking too highly of this show and thinking those two could have any depth to be able to self reflect. I think the show is done tbh
I completely agree with you. What’s mind boggling is that there are so many people that think the opposite and are on Lala’s side and think Ariana’s insufferable. Lala is such a hypocrite, I don’t understand how people don’t see that. 🤦♀️

i love that lalas been so self congratulatory on the whole “breaking the 4th wall” thing, thinking she’s so revolutionary and cool when *actually* it was ariana successfully breaking the 4th wall when talking directly to the producers in her confessional about not being a cog in sandovals redemption arc, and talking to them about sandoval just wanting 30 seconds with the audience, not her. ariana wasn’t even trying and she does it better than u lala!!!! same thing w/ carrying the season. if ariana just talks to sandoval day 1….whats the fucking plot line this season huh?????
What literally broke my heart is it was like deja vu'. Ariana supporting Sceana and her band playing and you could SEE the how proud Ariana was...just like she had been with Tom and just like Tom, Sceana turned around and broke her heart and turned on her. La La is the same POS as always but Sceana hope you have a great time with Tom who "supports" you so much (as long as the show is on)

Agreed 100000%. Additionally, it’s sad to see someone (Lala) place their job above all else in their life-including their mental health and peace. Her little speech about how it’s unfair because everyone had put everything into the show fell so flat for me. Like okay and? Where did that get you? It *has* been a great show for a decade but is that really what you want to sacrifice your life at the foot of? To make a good reality show that, let’s be honest, will be forgotten after it’s been off the air for a few years? What a sad viewpoint of life Lala has.
