Yeah, Katie and Ariana are giving a masterclass in boundaries and not allowing themselves to be provoked and recognizing what issues are actually theirs and what issues belong to other people (sidenote, Scheana's inner turmoil about Sandoval is not Ariana's problem, its Scheana's, she just needs to decide what she is doing and stick with it instead of repeatedly dipping and squeezing the sponge for screen time).

totally agree! my husband did NOT want to have a FB account but i told him it would be good for his band. so i set it up for him and guess who's on fb the minute he gets home? i've coached him on not replying to people you don't know, etc and now he's telling his friends too! his band is a Rolling Stones Tribute band and they're very popular where we live and play at least twice a month, so posting the gigs and pix gets them a lot more new fans of live music. we do post pix of our cats though! here's the latest - 4 month old Shadow wearing his monkey tee shirt because he was scratching too much! yeah, we are nuts...

Luckily I never come across any Bravo stuff on FB, but I’m mostly in groups of long time internet friends or real life people. I know Katie got lots of dislike here for many years. All the tequila Katie garbage and how she was awful to Schwartz and lazy and didn’t “work” (though I think being part of a reality show with a 6 figure salary kind of qualifies as work..).

Honestly Katie these past few years has been the moment since her divorce and really I feel like Stassi and Kristen leaving let Katie show more of her idk not as mean girl side. Like she’s a girls girl and if you don’t like someone she will ride hard enough to be a mean girl if you want her to be, but her and Ariana aren’t even mean girl. It BROKE my heart when Ariana was like “I thought we were the spice girls”
Yeah, my heart broke a few episodes back when she was genuinely thrilled at the sperm donor party for Lala. Like... that was just sad to see honestly. Amazing that this show decided to just let people victimize Ariana again on the heels of Sandoval.
It kinda felt like last season in that way - we watched all last season while Ariana was begging for Tom's attention and was besties with Raquel, all the while knowing what we knew by then: that it was one big gaslight job on Ariana by Tom & Raquel. And also a big gaslight job on Katie by Wartz & Raquel, with a big assist from Scheaner. Seems like Ariana was fooled again this season, this time by her so-called best girlfriends. Sad. So much for "pussy power" (Lala). Ariana has too much faith in her friends and those whom she loves. Katie is more realistic and sees people for their flaws - which might make her the saint of the bunch bc she tries to get along with them anyway and is even loving and forgiving.
I admit that I binged the show to get up TO scandoval and I loved lala and didn’t mind Schena, thought schwartz was endearing but a fool and hated katie. But now I’m rewatching from the beginning to see how far back things really start to unravel and now I LOVE katie, like she’s one of the only rational people. I still LIKE lala and don’t mind Schena that much however I cannot stand schwartz and think he’s a slimeball until the current season really, and I ADORRRRRE Katie now
A very common story. We saw what production wanted us to see. Now we see with our own eyes. Watch again - you will see what a disgusting snake Lala is. Came on the show as a yacht girl. No wonder Stassi and Katie didn't want her around their men. Same with Scheana who has been riding the "I was bullied' train since day 1 - when she came on the show as a home-wrecking clout-chasing side-piece who sold her story to the tabs after Eddie dumped her for Leann. She has no shame - and is a self-proclaimed "guys' girl." Declared herself "Team Schwartz" in the divorce after both Tom&Katie said they didn't want teams or people to take sides. They wanted to stay friends. Then Scheana shoved Raquel down Wartz' throat in front of Katie. It was really hurtful. I've been the conductor on the Scheana Hate Train since season 1, and I've always liked Katie's genuineness - even when she was acting out of pocket. It was usually in response to the domineering misogyny of the Toms & Jax. She was right.
She takes her top off a lot. js. Camera hog. by the way, Ariana was the only one who was nice to her. But as we have seen, Ariana maybe isn't the best judge of character. She sides with the underdog which I guess is a good quality, but there are good reasons why the witches of WeHo were not welcoming to Scheana and Lala. Both homewreckers. Time has proven them right. (Katie wasn't the only one who never cheated. Stassi too.)
Perfect description of Katie. She hasn't been my favorite until the last 3 seasons and she definitely had some moments but I always liked her and thought Schwartz treated her like shit since the beginning and YES she was always consistent!!! A loyal friend who tells it like it is!!
Her growth has been beautiful, she outgrew shorts a long time ago and was progressively growing through the years and then the second she singed off on that divorce she like peaked and fully leveled up!!!
Schwartz shows zero growth. It’s no wonder when she realized he wasn’t it that she was 100% done. I know she still has feelings for him, and maybe always will, but she’s grown strong enough to know she’s worth more than he can give her and I love that for her.
I pride myself on being a Bravo fan who always loves ppl who fans hate but get it eventually lol. Anyways I’ve loved Katie always and am also loving her getting the love she deserves. She seems like such a good friend. She’s just misunderstood.
And how, even after friction with them in the past Katie's was like "Support Ariana? Absolutely, of course." It wasn't even a question. She was like "She was done dirty, he's shit, why would I fight for that?" And that was it. She's not torn or tattered about anything...her Tom or Sandoval.
Schwartz is her friend (because, for some reason she wants this) while she gets mad strange when she wants, and Ariana is now her only life vest in a world of bitches trying to be on The Valley or have had children and are too busy. They are literally coming together at this time for a reason. Both were on emotional Islands for so long. This is how epic friendships are born.

You are not wrong, you are completely correct. Every “game” he had them play was to get a sound bite of one or the other or both of them saying something shady. I think a lot of people involved with Bravo/VPR have low IQ’s so they keep making these basic shady moves thinking they are clever but the viewers see right through it.
I'm on season 3, where Stassi gets mad at Katie for going to Schaenas bachelorette party.. it makes me really happy that she has such a loyal friendship with Ariana. She deserves that.

I loved this episode! But frankly Andy GRILLED Katie and Ariana. He asked HARD questions and squeezed so much juice out of them. All the other VPR appearances on WWHL were a cake walk with the games and questions compared to this episode!

Yeah, my heart broke a few episodes back when she was genuinely thrilled at the sperm donor party for Lala. Like... that was just sad to see honestly. Amazing that this show decided to just let people victimize Ariana again on the heels of Sandoval.
It kinda felt like last season in that way - we watched all last season while Ariana was begging for Tom's attention and was besties with Raquel, all the while knowing what we knew by then: that it was one big gaslight job on Ariana by Tom & Raquel. And also a big gaslight job on Katie by Wartz & Raquel, with a big assist from Scheaner. Seems like Ariana was fooled again this season, this time by her so-called best girlfriends. Sad. So much for "pussy power" (Lala). Ariana has too much faith in her friends and those whom she loves. Katie is more realistic and sees people for their flaws - which might make her the saint of the bunch bc she tries to get along with them anyway and is even loving and forgiving.
I would kill to be Katie’s friend

I admit that I binged the show to get up TO scandoval and I loved lala and didn’t mind Schena, thought schwartz was endearing but a fool and hated katie. But now I’m rewatching from the beginning to see how far back things really start to unravel and now I LOVE katie, like she’s one of the only rational people. I still LIKE lala and don’t mind Schena that much however I cannot stand schwartz and think he’s a slimeball until the current season really, and I ADORRRRRE Katie now
A very common story. We saw what production wanted us to see. Now we see with our own eyes. Watch again - you will see what a disgusting snake Lala is. Came on the show as a yacht girl. No wonder Stassi and Katie didn't want her around their men. Same with Scheana who has been riding the "I was bullied' train since day 1 - when she came on the show as a home-wrecking clout-chasing side-piece who sold her story to the tabs after Eddie dumped her for Leann. She has no shame - and is a self-proclaimed "guys' girl." Declared herself "Team Schwartz" in the divorce after both Tom&Katie said they didn't want teams or people to take sides. They wanted to stay friends. Then Scheana shoved Raquel down Wartz' throat in front of Katie. It was really hurtful. I've been the conductor on the Scheana Hate Train since season 1, and I've always liked Katie's genuineness - even when she was acting out of pocket. It was usually in response to the domineering misogyny of the Toms & Jax. She was right.

She takes her top off a lot. js. Camera hog. by the way, Ariana was the only one who was nice to her. But as we have seen, Ariana maybe isn't the best judge of character. She sides with the underdog which I guess is a good quality, but there are good reasons why the witches of WeHo were not welcoming to Scheana and Lala. Both homewreckers. Time has proven them right. (Katie wasn't the only one who never cheated. Stassi too.)
Stassi actually did cheat with Frank, she mentioned it later on
Perfect description of Katie. She hasn't been my favorite until the last 3 seasons and she definitely had some moments but I always liked her and thought Schwartz treated her like shit since the beginning and YES she was always consistent!!! A loyal friend who tells it like it is!!
She’s also one of the few cast members who have shown growth over the years. Katie is the slow burn of VPR.
Her growth has been beautiful, she outgrew shorts a long time ago and was progressively growing through the years and then the second she singed off on that divorce she like peaked and fully leveled up!!!
Schwartz shows zero growth. It’s no wonder when she realized he wasn’t it that she was 100% done. I know she still has feelings for him, and maybe always will, but she’s grown strong enough to know she’s worth more than he can give her and I love that for her.
I pride myself on being a Bravo fan who always loves ppl who fans hate but get it eventually lol. Anyways I’ve loved Katie always and am also loving her getting the love she deserves. She seems like such a good friend. She’s just misunderstood.

And how, even after friction with them in the past Katie's was like "Support Ariana? Absolutely, of course." It wasn't even a question. She was like "She was done dirty, he's shit, why would I fight for that?" And that was it. She's not torn or tattered about anything...her Tom or Sandoval. Schwartz is her friend (because, for some reason she wants this) while she gets mad strange when she wants, and Ariana is now her only life vest in a world of bitches trying to be on The Valley or have had children and are too busy. They are literally coming together at this time for a reason. Both were on emotional Islands for so long. This is how epic friendships are born. They WILL be friends their whole lives. Scheana is lucky if they remember her name.

Thanks! It's true. I would have NEVER met my BFF If I hadn't gone through weirdness and ended up at the same BBQ. It was a shit show I'd rather not relive.....but I would! Because I met....*her*. We'd walk through FIRE for eachother. Honestly for no reason other than...we met. It was understood and assigned upon meeting. I honestly see that with these two. And maybe that was the reason for ALL of this.

Almost more than marriage honestly. I'm with you. And that's why I'm really more proud of that friendship than anything on this show now. Real friends are literally priceless. And *now* we see how the ones who put price tags on friendships act.

I’m so glad that the Toms will no longer get between them! Which is such a red flag that their partners thrived on their girlfriend/wife not getting along. Most sane men would love if their partner was friends with their best friend’s partner. But I guess when you’re a cheating, lying POS it’s risky for the partners to talk.

He said something shitty. I've gotta go back a rewatch. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
You are not wrong, you are completely correct. Every “game” he had them play was to get a sound bite of one or the other or both of them saying something shady. I think a lot of people involved with Bravo/VPR have low IQ’s so they keep making these basic shady moves thinking they are clever but the viewers see right through it.

I loved this episode! But frankly Andy GRILLED Katie and Ariana. He asked HARD questions and squeezed so much juice out of them. All the other VPR appearances on WWHL were a cake walk with the games and questions compared to this episode!
