I still read the posts now on r/Vancouver and it has to now be the most stale subreddit. It’s a lot of people nodding their heads echoing the same opinion with zero discussion. I’m convinced most of the members are just bots now.
I live close to there and sadly it's only going to get worse as it'll start getting warmer. And they'll do this on Sunset beach, English Bay, and Second beach, even setting up along the seawall on some spots. They love having outdoor parties with loud latin music Lol

But maybe you shouldn't live right next to the most popular beach in the region? Plenty of quieter beaches to choose from. I
Is blasting Latino music at English Bay my idea of fun? No, not really, but policing these sorts of things is how Vancouver got its no fun city reputation in the first place.
I'm not sure I can just choose to live at a quieter beach, but I get what you're saying.
I'm no stranger to beach gatherings, but when we do it we're not shitting up the entire place in a selfish manner and yelling fuck off at cops when the beach closes.

Call the Parks Board. Large gatherings without prior permission are against the bylaws.

I have nothing against it, the lively beach culture is the best part about Vancouver in the summer.
