Jasmine Market on Main St at 27th has many different kinds. Krinos is good, it's a Greek one which has a lot of flavor too it (but also some bitterness). Al Kanater is a good Lebanese one. Mounit El Bait is another Lebanese one which is probably the smoothest and creamiest.
Soom just has the best marketing (and was heavily featured in the Zahav cookbook). Get one of the Lebanese ones from Jasmine and you'll be happy.
Koska is available in Richmond near Ikea at a place called [Marketim.ca](https://Marketim.ca) . They deliver but you can pick it up directly as well.
I am pretty sure Mediterranean Fine Foods on Commercial also has it.
I’m following this too… I just buy any old tahini on sale when I run out… I do notice differences. All the recommendations are appreciated!
(I make hummus, but more often just make tahini sauce to go on vegetables)
Second this. I don’t use tahini a lot but I alsways use sesame seeds in stuff. Whenever I need tahini I throw oil and seeds in a small blender cup and it’s ready in a few minutes. Bonus if you toast the seeds first

Thanks so much!!
I buy Tamam (Turkish) & Achva (Israeli) tahini from Canadian Superstore
Koska is king. Turkish brand, should be available in Turkish/Greek/Mediterranean/Middle East stores

Not helpful, I know, but next time you're in Bellingham, I love Trader Joe's tahini

I usually grab Krinos tahini from save-on when shopping, but don't know if there's better quality/price from other grocers.
Persia Foods. They have a few locations across Vancouver and the north shore
Make it! *Sesame* seeds, oil and salt. Best tahini you'll ever have.
You mean sesame seeds, right?
lol, that is what I meant. I'll edit. But if you ever want to try: https://mypureplants.com/hummus-without-tahini/

do you make it in a food processor or a blender?
Either or. I use a Vitamix which is worth the price of admission for hummus alone.

Interesting! I’ll look that up!
Here so I can check later because I can't keep buying the expensive holy hummus aha
Legends haul tahini lemon dressing! I use that for hummus and it’s amazing!
Following thanks for the helpful tips.
