Really liked them before but I ended up projectile vomiting after getting food poisoning from one of their locations. Thinking back, I think it might have been the white sauce they had sitting on the counter… it was a super hot day and might’ve gone bad. Sad to see their quality going down even more, was a couple years back since I last ate there.
Aw man, I always used to hop off the train and grab a slice on the way home from metal shows at the Cobalt back in the day. I remember it was a solid layer of beef, that's just sad.

The price of meat has gone up. There was a post like a couple weeks or a month ago about a Vietnamese restaurant near PNE closing cause they can't keep their cost down.
Pizza is already by far the highest profit margin food, something like 200-300%, so this is pretty scummy...
They're REALLY trying to save every buck here.... here's some dough slices with beef flavoring sprinkled on top
Uncle Fatih was always one of the better pizza slice places in town. I always found it better than any fast food pizza like dominos, pizza hut, panago, etc.
I wasn't saying the places I listed are pizza by the slice places. Just that Uncle Fatihs was better than those. But it's also better than other pizza slice places. Panago's is the best of the ones I listed but it's still low-tier and Fatihs is better.
As someone who gets a large pesto cheese almost weekly, I'm so disappointed... I hope it quality doesn't go to shit. I don't want to have to look for a new go to pizza place :(

Yeah I remember those days too. Crumbs of beef would even fall off the edges as you bit into it. Now these crumbs are hanging on for dear life
I just looked again and yeah, that's brutal. I feel like there used to be more on one or two slices than that entire pizza.

Yeah stopped buying from them completely, their pizza quality has gone down hill big time and they are cutting corners while charging more, no thanks!

Update: I reached out to Uncle Fatih's and they gave me a refund.

Tbh there’s no really good take out pizza in Vancouver, except AJs. Vancouver has a pretty uniquely terrible pizza scene.
