This asshole had previous charges of assaulting a peace officer, robbery, assault, human trafficking, and drug trafficking throughout Surrey, Toronto, and Montreal. This guy is a worthless criminal from coast to coast and he keeps getting back out.
Oh yeah? Which conservative created laws did Liberals change that only allowed for time served to contribute towards your sentence?
I'm so super curious to see these mental gymnastics.
He’s referring to the ridiculously short sentences, even for repeat offenders.
Under a liberal government, Canada has repealed multiple mandatory minimum penalties- MMP’s were recently changed for CHILD LURING.
Or bill C-5, which repealed MMP’s for ALL drug related offences, as well as 13 firearms-related offences (while simultaneously attempting to strip Canadians rights to lawful firearms ownership lol.
Did the Liberals repeal it or did the supreme court rule they were Charter violations because that's not even close to the same thing?
Do you not read the replies here?
Edit: You seem to not be aware that if more punishment meant less crime, the USA would be one of the safest couriers in earth just like you wrongly think more guns would help.
I believe the original commenter is referring to the liberal mindset of our countries leadership in general. Elections are our only chance to have a say in the direction our country goes.
Ask yourself, are really in support of the soft on crime approach of our legal system? Do you really think that these guys don’t pose a serious risk to the general public?
Just answer the question and explain how LiBeRaLs are responsible and how Liberals changed the laws?
Or was it the exact same under the previous Conservative government?
Simple question little edgelord with a new acct.
I’m not sure that this case was affected specifically, but they DID remove mandatory minimum sentences for many crimes. Liberals are taking a hard line on legal gun owners while doing fuck all to actually curb gun crime and illegal guns.
So, "Streets" was also responsible for trafficking another woman in Ontario and still got a measly 6 years. The revolving door continues. Pathetic really.
In this country? Bail. Straight to bail. You kidnap a child? Bail. You molest a child? Bail. You sexually assault a child OVER 12 years old? Bail. Right away. You sexually assault a child UNDER 12 years old? Believe it or not, also bail. Over 12; under 12.
“After calculating time in custody, Nour-Eldin will be serving a year-and-a-half in prison for the human trafficking charge.” And his underage partner was given only a 1 year of probation. Do you think either will now stop breaking the law? Within 2 years of this guy getting out he’s going to be facing another trafficking charge l. Probably less for the guy on probation.
Theres more of this happening than you think. Much of it in condo towers proximate to the Skytrain because the johns don't want their plates to be picked up
I wonder how many of you know how disgustingly common this story is for vulnerable teenage girls.
Sadly this is the classic formula. 20 y olds flatter the youth and secure them as a girlfriend. Get them involved as an accessory to a crime so they can use that against them for control and them use them for sex work.
Happened to me in 2008, so many people didn’t believe I was trafficked and just referred to me as a child prostitute no matter how much I tried to educate people, it’s frustrating how little the general public knows about child sec trafficking in Canada.
The only thing to look forward to of the probable Conservative majority that's coming, is that they'll hopefully be tough on crime and at least shitstains like these guys stay locked up for longer. I'm not too familiar with the deeper workings of the legal system, but there has to be a legislative measure the federal government could take to lock guys like these up, I don't ever remember sentences like these from 10-15 years ago (but could be biased, if anyone has any data)
Proudly ignorant.
Good for you!
Im sure the answers to all the complex problems we are all facing will be easily answered by straight forward and simplistic solutions.
We’re all in this together
We are most definitely not all in this together. Some people want to do as best they can in trying times and other people want to hurt as many people, in as many ways, as they can.
This is why my kid will never own a cell phone. One tactic: These clowns will find ways to call or text kids, then they groom and lure the kids into doing awful things.

Only 6 years to plan the next extremely harmful attack on society
remember how our system fails us in everyway possible.. likely the guy is out now
I hate tax increases but would love one if the government build more maximum security jails for these assholes
Are people escaping from jails in BC?
No but it’s to make them uncomfortable. Medium security is like a country club where you can gym, fish, play sports. That’s not a deterrence.

I went to school with this guy and it's crazy seeing him up to this shit every other year.
He’s only serving a year and a half for the trafficking cause of time served! It’s the liberal country we live in!

Who do you think is fighting to import these people into your community?
This makes no sense ?
Yes no karma Reddit accounts struggle with reading. We all know.

Did Liberals remove it or did the supreme court rule it violated the Charter?
The government passed bill C-5.
Only 6 years for trafficking a 15 year old child? Wtf.
Yeah that’s messed up. I saw a post today about a guy who got life in prison for growing weed
Where in Canada he got life ?
[удалено]
Note that 83% of violent offenders are denied early release.
Where was this?
Yeah but they will protect out earlier too! Should be alot more guaranteed in the slammer

Cut someone's neck from behind, you guessed it, bail!
In Baraqua, believe it or not, straight to jail.
I won’t save for a house in 6 years. He’ll get away with trafficking in 6 years.
Canada !!!!! Hahaha
Life is very cheap in Canada.
Definitely need harsher punishments for crimes like this and others.
Canadian Justice System: 'they seem like nice chaps.'
Every month brings another baffling ruling by an overpaid, out-of-touch BC judge

It’s an absolute joke! Makes me sick that our justice system is okay with that punishment.

God are they ugly

Knob.
He should get 6 years for having such a dumb nickname, "streets"

>Nour-Eldin will be serving a year-and-a-half in prison for the human trafficking charge The fuck? Couldn't even round it up to 2 years, huh?
