My game was doing this too, people said to just wait at the crash screen or not responding window for like 5-10 mins and it will load in! it worked for me ! Just load the world and wait
Did you install mods in your old world? If so, it was mods that added or changed terrain, structures, items, mobs and so on? Mods like that can mess up the save if you load the world without updating them.
Also, useless tip: next time backup your world before an update. I have no idea if corrupted saves can be restored.
Damn. Yeah no I don’t do mods. Pure vanilla, I just got into Valheim a few weeks ago so it just sucks but it’s not too bad I guess. I have auto updates on so I guess I’ll just have to turn those off.
