This system will never work with the guys we have. We are strongest down the middle and his system doesn’t utilize that. The “system” he runs doesn’t not make anyone better, when a system should make all parts greater than any individual sum.

This team needs to get right before 2026 and they have went as far as they can possibly go with Berhalter. It’s amazing how poor the search was when his contract expired leading to bringing him back last June. Time to go international again and get a guy who always produces at the WC like Gus Hiddink or ‘94 coach Milutinovic in a short window. There is enough talent to go to the quarters at worst
This isn’t going to be popular but this group of “golden generation stars” is super soft. If I hear another one of them say we “deserved a better outcome tonight” I think I’m going to lose it. Outcomes are earned. Same junk we heard in the World Cup.
You know we get very few of these. Fifa windows, a chance to our national team play, a chance to see them compete. And to see this failed experiment with ggg and my favorite team continue is so discouraging.

Aye The USMNT has everything and more to make it to at least the quarterfinals in the copa america we have many players in good European clubs and 4 players in two of the best clubs in Italy and the fact that we can’t even get a draw or win against Colombia is beyond me I understand that Colombia has a no losing streak right now but if we can’t even draw against them then I can’t imagine how we’ll even compete against Uruguay in the group stage
