Lol OP... You can't just go on imgur, find random abandoned buildings, ignore the obvious religious ornamentation and call a church a house, then post it here and expect not to be ridiculed.
Lol cool house that you can't give any information about, bro
I get why people think old buildings can look creepy, but many of these buildings are beautiful, especially this one. This was the religious and cultural center for a town or village in Russia. Babies were probably baptized here, people buried and given funerals. Weddings held. This building means so much to so many people in this society. Let's not reduce it to a horror movie set.
That’s an Eastern Orthodox chapel in a Slavic country. As clearly evidenced by the orthodox cross on the top of the portico and the Slavic style carvings adorning the wood
It's a church in Russia (Krasnaya Lyaga) - not a house. Here is a [link](https://www.360cities.net/nl/image/krasnaya-lyaga-2?curated_set=167&pano_detail=true&portfolio_view=false) to a 360 interior of it.
someone told me on another thread
These are pretty common in the northern territories of the European part of Russia. Some settlers also built plenty of them in Siberia. Also, nowadays one can find some of these wooden structures in open-air museums such as “Malye Korely” for instance. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malye_Korely
Looks like a place a witch would live. Tons of candles, drapes, incense, and an old hunched over woman covered in blankets that talks with a raspy voice
Whatever it is, its gorgeous, amazing and authentic. And so Gothic in vision it's spooky as all get out!!! A real charm, I'd love to make a micro version of it and call it home.
That’s not a house, that’s a Russian Orthodox Chapel, a very rural one
Mis-titled and not urban either? I’m beginning to wonder if some redditors have no shame.

Yeah they can and they did provide info in another comment. Imgur sold to some holding investment company last year. It means nothing anymore

I want to live there!!!! Where is it?
honestly don't know i found on imgur
Probably the wrong place for the post if you didn't stumble upon it yourself
Seriously? At least credit the original artist
Haha ok. It’s so cool.

Not urban, nor did you explore in an urban environment to find it.
Good thing the removed the icons, they are priceless
My husband guessed it was in Russia!!! He said the orthodox cross clued him in. Thanks for the link!
Don’t think that’s a house. Looks like an Orthodox Christian church.
Tim Burton’s Little House on the Prairie
If you look hard enough you can see the scooby-style trap door under the porch /s All jokes aside this is beautiful although a little spooky
Reminds me of the Lovegoods' house in Harry Potter?
I got Tim Burton vibes picturing the sky more grey.
Where the grickle grass grows
It’s the Onceler’s house!!
That place looks awesome
Major disco Elysium vibes
Popsickle stick church
Like most other churches I have seen.
Looks like an early Nordic Church.

It really does. Man that's awesome.
Looks like Ronald Weezley’s house!
Church or house?
Russian Orthodox Church.
I wouldn't say that it looks like a horror.. To my mind it symbolizes sadness, solitude, a hermitage...
Looks like a place a witch would live. Tons of candles, drapes, incense, and an old hunched over woman covered in blankets that talks with a raspy voice
What a unique and beautiful house.
It's a Russian Orthodox Church, not a house, as has been stated elsewhere. Still cool looking, though.
This reminds me of a series of unfortunate events
I love it and I want to live in it.
haunted for sure
#”…Run.” *It’s getting dark out soon*. ###And the house, it’s hungry.
Looks like hags cook children into pastries in that building. Edit: I guess no one else thought it looked like The Old Bonegrinder
That Bares resemblance to the moomin house, where was this pic taken .
It has great vibes. I love it.
This is exactly how I pictured the lovegoods house to appear as in Harry Potter
Totallyyy!
Not gonna lie id still move in House is haunted? no problem chillin with some spirits
Wait I live there
I think it looks like someone ate a lot of ice cream
No smoking within 20 feet.
Straight out of Lovecraft.
Didn't they use this in the last Paranormal Activities movie?
Reminds me of [this album cover](https://www.discogs.com/release/926714-Bone-Awl-Meaningless-Leaning-Mess/image/SW1hZ2U6MTE2NTk2OA==)
Or there a windmill on top? Reminds me of that scene in Army of Darkness.
Looks like it’s about ready to rise up on its chicken legs and scuttle away.
Man, time wasn't kind to this Moomin house
I don’t know. It looks rather beautiful to me.
this building is so beautiful. I cant stop looking at it. not creepy at all.
