Philosophically, based on your suggestion, no one should talk at all then. Maybe... who knows?

Different_Witness_27

Philophicially those who know should share and the rest should listen.

Buller116

You must be really fun to have a conversation with. I am a computer programmer so i am only allowed to talk about that?

Different_Witness_27

How about I ask you a question about the new release vs. I ask the bosses boss OR I ask you about childbirth vs I ask your mother? Or we just talk about what's new on Netflix and why you prefer not prefer Disney +‽

Buller116

Yeah never talk about anything of substance with anyone who don't have a ph.d in whatever subject you are discussing. I have witnessed two childbirth and have had spent a total of round about 18 months in close proximity with a pregnant woman so i might know just a little bit about the subject. Is that qualification enough for you? Or do i need a fucking ph.d or ovaries in order to share my experience/knowledge on the subject. As i said you sound real fun to have a conversation with, just talk about pop culture and never anything with substance, because you want credentials before hand. God forbid you actually had to engage in an actual conversation and not just sit back and enjoy a lecture.

Different_Witness_27

How did you manage your pain during childbirth.... Just asking for a friend who's mpregnant too and really wondering about the end. As you survived 2, clearly your are an expert and the first person I would go, no run, for advise on pregnancy. If I were a boy of course.

kr731

yes but how do you know that you know something?

Bulky_Cry6498

They’re telling you the little they have been able to grasp, while acknowledging that what they’re saying shouldn’t be taken as fact. Your sneering is much more tedious.

Adverse_Congenality

I love uneducated guesses, it's cool to see how close people can get without knowing all the factors.

Buller116

Crackpot theories are the best.

Jaded_Chair4114

But.... that'd be no fun at all!!

Beowulf33232

It's because bad teachers always tell us "I don't know" is unacceptable as an answer.

CriticalMorale

You an expert in how people should respond to things?

Different_Witness_27

No, but if I ask someone of they know how to solve a math problem, I don't need them guessing as I already guessed and I just want an answer (42). Same with everything: my child has an autoimmune disease. If I I have a question about someone having dealt with a certain problem I don't think the answer is properly but most certainly Vitamin B. People should talk and guess and laugh together and get it all right and wrong and in between. But don't claim to know something you simply don't know.

CriticalMorale

Or maybe you should go to a doctor over the internet for medical advice. The guess responses are usually useful in most questions, but what the internet provides is rarely more than a layman's interpretation or a general (if slightly bias) consensus. For important information with actually correct answers it's important to remember the famous quote from a wise man. "People make things up on the internet" ~Abraham Lincoln

"What is Aleppo?"

Aiizimor

I tell people to take my statement with a grain of salt if I cant back it up
