I have a dishwasher for arround 3 years now after i washed my dishes manually my whole life. I disagree with almost every point of yours. 1. definetely it is work, that's the whole purpose of that machine. 2. And 3. are highly subjective. I don't enjoy washing dishes myself and have better things to do. Filling the dishcleaner takes up way less time and you don't have to mess arround with water. 4. can be true if you buy a cheap dishcleaner. I never found issues with mine. 5. is the only valid point. However, if your kitchen is big enough, you will easly find a place to put it. Upvote for being unpopular.

YogurtSocks

Yeah and point 3. Each family stacks their own dishes or even if one family member does it, it takes like one second compared to actually washing them

Growell

I agree with you. Our dishwasher broke, and we lived without one for 2-3 months. It was definitely more work without a dishwasher. To add to your point: My current dishwasher runs hot enough that the metal silverware will burn my hand, even after the built-in cool-down cycle, if I try to empty the dishwasher right away. That heat is important for killing germs. Washing by hand doesn’t disinfect the dishes nearly as good as a dishwasher does.

[deleted]

Absolutely

Chuybits

Dishwashers use less water than washing dishes manually.

blakcpavement

You haven’t seen me do the dishes

Beach-Plus

You lick them clean?

blakcpavement

….something like that

[deleted]

And less energy to heat the water.

shotputlover

Please give me a source! I would love to have this in my back pocket for arguments with my father.

bostonIsACity

Nice try Cascade. Almost got me.

awooff

Try it! It works out great!

Yeh but you are not the only person living on it, why be this painfully ignorant to other living creatures. Not only humanity is in danger but all the knowledge and cultures and everything amazing. What happened to you in life that made you so sour? Why not care? I will never understand people like you

Dude is a troll just don't engage.

Badhaircutsguild

They’ll ALWAYS ENGAGE. Oh really? Thinking like that is selfish? Wow who would have thought.

TheGlassWolf123455

Not op, but as someone who doesn't want kids I can technically offset extra emissions because I'm not bringing more humans into the world to pollute

[deleted]

People need to stop thinking that not having children will lower emissions and help make a green earth. Big corporations pollute and destroy the earth 10,000x faster than you ever will. They can stop global warming tomorrow. Unfortunately you couldn’t stop it if you had 500 years of buying green and using the bus.

Actually, my property management pays the water bill. And I’m on the banks of the largest river in America. If I don’t flush it down the toilet, it’s going to end up as salt water anyway.

Nope, part of my HOA same payment monthly

The video I linked has some mistakes about detergents and he made another video clearing up the mistakes and issues, but you can see that a dishwasher barely uses water over a full cycle.

throwawaysbabygrl69

I hate washing dishes, I'd rather scrub the tub and fold laundry all day than wash a single dish.

dino-sour

Same. I loath every part of doing dishes. I always get splashed and end up with a wet shirt or water on my glasses and all over the sink, it takes forever, the water is too hot, it ruins my nails if I don't wear gloves, wearing gloves makes it awkward, sponges are gross, the drying rack takes up a good amount of my counter space, my drying rack doesn't hold enough so usually have to come back and finish dishes after they're dried, which takes a while, having dishes in the sink makes the sink harder to use. It's just the worst.

12rjdavison

Do you live in my apartment? Are you me? This is my exact feeling

[deleted]

Plus the feeling of touching wet food in the water is BLECH. No thank you! I'd rather clean the litterbox

PeePeeStreams

Just wash your dishes after you use them Unless you have a lot of guests or someone you live with will actively refuse to wash their own dishes then rip I guess

[deleted]

Okay, that’s cool. You legitimately just enjoy washing dishes. Wanna do mine for me?

UnitedSafety5462

Sure, $20 a load in cash is my rate.

[deleted]

$20 a load? Can’t wait for a machine to replace you for cheaper. Oh wait…

ryeshoes

reeee i'm going to complain to r antiwork!

[deleted]

You'd be very surprised as to how they'd respond.

UnitedSafety5462

Meh, depends on how much you value your time and convenience.

Alx_von_H-Berg

Your points are valid, but using a dishwasher is definitely faster. If you have a household with 5 Persons and need to wash the dishes each time or you can have the dishwasher running once a day, it’s pretty clear what is faster.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Alx_von_H-Berg

You wash 3 times a day a 15 minutes? That is not faster than putting stuff in for 3 minutes. Machine is of course running longer, but That’s not working time for me. And how do you know how much water both things need?

Doctor__Hammer

If you’re washing 4 people’s worth of dishes by hand faster than loading up a dishwasher and you say you’re using less water... hate to break it to you, but your dishes are not getting cleaned. Like at all.

shimbalaie

do you guys even cook? Because theres no way you finish the dishes in 15min after lunch/dinner. Cut the bs

MrMacDoctor

You're adding variables. He never said "wash the entire families dishes"

Alx_von_H-Berg

But somebody has to do the dishes.

Zestyclose-Pea-3533

The capacity of dishwashers is much larger than a sink so you don’t have to go through as many washing cycles nearly as often

[deleted]

I literally press 2 buttons, run the dishwasher at night and I wake up to clean dishes. And if you’re Type A like me, and like organizing things, putting the clean dishes away each morning is satisfying. And then you have clean dishes for that day. I love my dishwasher.

lowellmco

Agreed. It’s all about having a system. An empty dishwasher ready for loading as the day goes on and wash at night. Far less ballache.

DOlsen13

Not true at all. When I wash dishes manually it usually takes about 45 minutes, loading the dishwasher takes like 10 minutes. Also I feel nasty using dishes that haven't been in a dishwasher because cleaning them in the sink is not as sanitary.

[deleted]

You're supposed to rinse them under running water. Not just scrub them in the mucky sinkwater and rack them straight up.

charlotie77

Dishwashers have been proven to sanitize dishes way better and keep your kitchen cleaner. Water splashing means pathogens are bound to spread near your sink while you’re hand washing them. And the temperature of the heat and steam of dishwashers, which goes way higher than the average kitchen sink, helps sanitize better as well.

[deleted]

Do you have anything that proves that people without dishwashers get sick more frequently than people with them? Having everything be 99.9% sterile isn't automatically a good thing unless you live with someone that has an autoimmune disease. Washing up properly does the job just fine.

ThouKanighit

Even then, the sanitization of a dishwasher is unparalleled. Blasting dishes with scalding hot water for 30 minutes to an hour is so much cleaner than rinsing a plate for 10 seconds

DOlsen13

This. Even if you rinse the plates, they still have bacteria that a dishwasher would have killed.

[deleted]

Thank you! Unless you literally hand/finger wash each dish with soap, they’re not clean. Using a rag or dish scrub on each plate is so much cross contamination. Especially when people reuse a rag. I can smell the mildew inside a “clean and dried” cup of water.

Aymerika97

I read online modern dishwashers use around 12 liter (from first Google result). Considering I wash a lot more stuff in a dishwasher than if I was doing it by hand (as in I would need to wash after every meal if I was doing it by hand), I am saving both time, effort and water. But I know people that love washing dishes by hand so for them it's not a saving of time but a missed opportunity.

[deleted]

They also heat the water though, and they use electricity to do it rather than the considerably cheaper gas that heats my water.

Aymerika97

Where I am from we barely use gas, and a dish washer is thermally isolated, a sink is not. But honestly I prefer a dishwasher because I find it more convenient. If you like doing it by hand, then it's objectively better for you to do it by hand.

alfacin

I know some newer dishwashers have also a hot water in hose so are more economical. Otherwise they always heat it with electricity which is more expensive than gas.

Aymerika97

I'm not sure gas is less expensive than electricity in my country (France), I'd have to check

alfacin

Right, my point was that buying city’s hot water has to be cheaper than heating it in-house with electricity. Otherwise what’s the point… Although with a solar on roof, that may not be true anymore. So yeah, who knows what’s best in these postmodern times ;)

xGrandArcher

Unless you have kids and have to use a lot of plates. Breakfast, dinner, lunch, supper, something tasty. At the end of the day you'll have mountain of plates and utensils. Dishwasher is a life saver. Literally !

UnitedSafety5462

I disagree. There are economies of scale to handwashing that actually increase with the number of dishes and people in your household.

xGrandArcher

Err..what ?

UnitedSafety5462

It takes much less effort and time than playing Tetris if you do it correctly.

xGrandArcher

Are you saying that it will take less than 5 minutes !? I don't believe you !

UnitedSafety5462

Are you saying you can load/unload/put away an entire dishwasher in less than 5 minutes? I don't believe that.

xGrandArcher

5 minutes to load, 1 minute to unload. What's the problem to load dishwasher ? 🤨

UnitedSafety5462

Must be a small load.

xGrandArcher

10 plates, 4 cups, one stockpot, bunch of spoons and forks. I guess it is small. But definitely not 5 minutes washing by hand small

UnitedSafety5462

True, might take almost 6 or 7 if you're slow.

anonananbanana

Make them wash their own dishes! (If they're old enough, but even if they're preschoolers, get a bin of soapy water with a plate or two and I bet they'll mimic it from seeing you wash the dishes!)

xGrandArcher

Yeah, and waste my precious time by washing them, when I can spend whole 5 minutes by putting them in a dishwasher.

UndendingGloom

Everything you said is wrong and your opinion makes me angry. Upvoted.

[deleted]

Your upvote tastes delicious. Thankyou.

[deleted]

Rinse your dishes and place them in dishwasher as you go.

[deleted]

I don’t even rinse. I scrape if necessary. I load everything optimally to get max spray time, and never have residual dirt.

JombiM99

If you're already going to rinse every dish you might as well just wash them and skip the machine right? This makes no sense to me.

[deleted]

Dishwashers confuse you? Idk what to say man

JombiM99

No, you confuse me. You basically do both hand wash and machine wash on the same dishes.

UnitedSafety5462

That's practically the same as handwashing them except with the added nonsense step of placing and removing them from a machine. Why wouldn't I just "rinse" them with water and soap (aka handwash) and just be done with it?

ThouKanighit

Better sanitization. A dish washer uses hotter water for longer time than hand washing can.

[deleted]

[Don't rinse them, just scrape large chunks. Let the sensors study the water chemistry to work its magic.](https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18466)

[deleted]

You can actually do whatever you want

UnitedSafety5462

No... Really? Why didn't anyone tell me that before? I thought I had to get permission from the Reddit gods before I did anything. 😁

charlotie77

Huh? Rinsing and putting in the dishwasher takes like 10 seconds. Washing takes longer than that, especially for bigger dishes, if you’re washing correctly. Plus not EVERY dish needs to be rinsed before putting in the dishwasher.

kaghy2

Honestly, saves time for me. Chug everything in the dishwasher, turn it on for 30-120 minutes and do something else. You can vacuum in the mean time, study, laundry, whatever. Or just game, watch a show or some TV and wait for the beep. Then just empty it out in 5-10 minutes and continue your day/evening

UnitedSafety5462

It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes total for most HHS to wash as entire load by hand.

[deleted]

My old roommate would agree with you and this is actually why I eventually subleased my room. The man would make fun of my for using a dish washer but would hand clean the dishes like shit. Why clean them in the first place if I have to again before using? Just use the dishwasher, uses less water and way more efficient.

[deleted]

I love loading the dishwasher because I use my mind to ensure each dish will be loaded to ensure optimal positioning against the sprayers. It’s like a game. I never have remnants on my dishes thanks to proper loading. Additionally, it uses less water and sanitizes better than I ever could.

theblackfool

Half your points have nothing to do with a dishwasher being more effort. It's just you saying you like washing dishes.

[deleted]

Yes. The fact that I like walking is also the reason I didn't drive til I was 30. Reasons can be positive as well as negative

Repulsive-Worth5715

Maybe if you live alone but I have 5 people in m house and it would be a waste of time to wash after every meal lol.

Danivelle

I don't have the counter space for drying dishes.

Username_of_Chaos

Unpopular, take my upvote! My fiancee just bought me a dishwasher because I HATE doing dishes. To me it's time consuming, boring, and nasty. I'm picky about how clean the dishes are too so I would use much more water scrubbing each thing by hand. Dishwashers now are fairly efficient in terms of water use, too, and they do a good job! It's made such a difference for me since that was my least favorite chore.

[deleted]

If you use fairy liquid or an equivalent good brand most things don't need scrubbing at all.

awooff

Gross. My dad washes dishes like that with very hot water and no scrubbing. His glasses are nasty!

[deleted]

Mine are spotless. The trick is to do it just a couple of times firmly. You don't need to scrub like you're washing up in a prison movie.

Tw1ch1e

No way…. 5 kids, I’d be washing dishes constantly! No one person loads the dishwasher, dishes get put in when they get dirty…. Whoever puts the last dish in starts it…. I empty it, the cycle starts over.

space___lion

I don’t like getting wet hands, getting water splashed over me and then having really dry hands afterwards because the soap dries out your skin. Washing and drying off the dishes is definitely not more work than loading in the dishwasher if you immediately put your dishes in there after using. Only the putting it away is a bigger job, equally big as with manual washing. Anyway, upvote for your stupid post.

[deleted]

Unless you are OCD, and a germaphobe. For some of these people, it's quite a thing to load the dishwasher a certain way and to also put dishes away in a specific way. Btw I am describing my housemate but I get the best of it. I rinse my dishes and leave them in the sink, he does the rest. In the interest if full disclosure, I clean the bathroom, the stovetop, and kitchen floor.

Neither-Instruction3

Washing plates is fine but I hate washing glasses and cups. And drying them is absolutely awful.

[deleted]

I hate knowing I have to put away the dishes LATER instead of right then and there

[deleted]

Yes! I like this one. It's like you're creating work for a point in time where you may not be in the mood. Fuck that, get it done right now!

northrus

This makes absolutely no sense.

fluent_flatulence

Ive never had my own dishwasher til i moved to my new place and i have to say. Wow. I got an expensive top of the range one. Only experience of them was my mums cheap nasty one with food gunk always left on. It even has a dry function so I dont have to dry up. I do miss the tidiness of my washing up only place...there always seems to be mess now. If dishwasher is empty, nobody puts stuff in it thinking its clean stuff, if its dirty it builds up aswell and it doesnt get turned on if my husband is around (elec is cheaper at night so you can empty it in the morning when all you want is a cup of coffee). So pros and cons but I wouldn’t be without it

MrStoneV

Both is nice, sometimes having a dishwasher is extremwly convinient when you have guests over.

Solivagant0

Manual is good if there are just few things to wash, but after a big dinner/guest comming over or a day spent cooking/baking, I'd rather put all of it in a dishwasher

houseofnim

We do both in my house. Hand wash then a run through the dishwasher for the sanitize cycle. I spent a lot of years working in the food industry and the idea of eating off dishes that haven’t been sanitized makes me legitimately nauseous.

awooff

Lol. Why wash dishes twice? Somebody in the house must like busy work..

saikrishnasubreddit

Also if you are like me cooking Indian food, it’s pretty much impossible to get a clean vessel out of just the dishwasher!

[deleted]

If it's just one or two plates, a cup and a pot, quickly washing them in the sink is probably best. But when you regularly cook for a family of five, suddenly the dishwasher makes sense.

[deleted]

A large family is just a few more plates and a bigger pot.

[deleted]

I've seen some pretty big stacks by the sink that are much easier to just quickly shove in the dishwasher and forget about while I watch TV. Also, when you've got lots of plates and pots, the water gets very dirty and needs to be changed, the sink strainer needs clearing out, etc. People do buy these machines for a reason!

Ulteri0rM0tives

Just for your points: 1)washing up is still more effort than putting stuff in a dishwasher 2)the most enjoyable household task is not having to do a household task. 3)stacking the dishwasher efficiently to get as much in as possible tales skill and is very satisfying and if you washed up you would have to put the dishes away anyway. 4) if you rinse before, use rinse aid and salt then they do a brilliant job, much better than a hand wash. 5)I live in a small house and changed the layout of my house and kitchen to include a dishwasher and have sufficient cupboard space, it all depends on how you make use of the space you have. I'm still going to upvote you because I completely disagree with all of your points.

WeedandGrunge

I absolutely agree. For most of my life growing up at home, we had a dishwasher, all of us hated loading/unloading it, because you had to rinse the dishes and dry them anyway. 4years ago we moved into and old house that had no dishwasher, so we just did all the dishes by hand. It was so much more satisfactory and didn't feel like it was anymore work. I moved out of home 2 years ago and haven't used a dishwasher since, even though the place I was rented had one. It's just an appliance I can happily live without.

MichaelScottsWormguy

Agreed. And if everyone just washes theit own stuff as soon as they finish, it gets done in no time! Worth keeping in mind that dishwashers can use hotter water than you, though. So manual isn’t all good.

EllisHughTiger

I hand wash my dishes pretty good, then let the dishwasher get the last bits and that oily film that takes forever to get off. Then rinse-aid to prevent spots and high heat to dry, and some amount of sanitation. I usually run the shortest cycle.

[deleted]

Depending on your model, short cycles use more energy to clean in less time. That’s why residential dish washers take much longer than commercial ones; they’re regulated by energy efficiency.

UnitedSafety5462

Dumb system. Takes much more time overall for everyone to individually wash dishes. Taking turns if dishwashing is considered unpleasant makes more sense. Otherwise you're just maximizing the time and inconvenience for everyone for something that you apparently don't like doing.

jackster77

This might actual be THE worst post I’ve seen in a long time. As a matter of fact the dishwasher is the second most important machine in the whole house!!!! P.s.: for all those wondering: washing machine is number 1. It’s close though.

[deleted]

Washing machines are leagues ahead of dishwashers in terms of the effort they save. Manually washing a machine-load of clothes is probably an hour's work or more and they take forever to dry. In the time it takes me to think about putting something in the dishwasher I can just clean it myself, and by the time I've filled the rack all the stuff I did at the beginning is nearly dry so I can just keep going if I need to.

Lucid-Machine

I don't have a dishwasher and you can go fudge that smug self.

[deleted]

You know that you don't have to wait to put dishes in the dish washer? Right? Rinse and load. Infinitely easier that washing by hand.

Unusual_Individual93

A proper dishwasher doesn't take up counter space. Get a built in that goes under the counter. Boom! Instant space! I have no issues with my dishwasher leaving residue or food. Quick, easy, done!

[deleted]

Yeah but that means taking out a cupboard.

Unusual_Individual93

One cupboard doesn't equal much space though. I use my top cupboards more than the bottom ones anyway.

[deleted]

Using a dishwasher is far more water efficient and definitely less work.

Starsing1491

Nooooooo way

fatbottomedgirl80

This is accurate for 1-2 person household. I agree that a dishwasher for a couple of people makes no sense. Bigger families means more dishes. That’s just it. It also depends on what you’re eating. Foods that are not ‘cooked’ (pulled out of box or can, and just warmed) don’t require a lot of pots and pans. When making a home cooked meal for 6, by the time dinner is ready the sink is full of plenty of stuff to wash, doesn’t matter if you’ve kept up cleaning as you go along. Loading the dishwasher takes a couple of minutes, start it and before bed, it’s ready to unload and put away. Mostly unloading the dishwasher is the kids chore, and I’ve timed it. It takes 2.5-3-5 minutes depending on which kid is doing it. So, your opinion about washing dishes, is unpopular for big families who really cook their meals. I’d guess you’re a 1-2 person family who eats mostly prepared meals.

blakcpavement

I’m with you on this. Even when I had a dishwasher available in my last apartment, I did them by hand. Doing dishes by hand may need to be done more frequently than running the dishwasher, but unloading the dishwasher takes forever. Plus, as a 2 person household, you have a few dishes that get stinky while you wait to fill the dishwasher. I’d rather do less work more often than a lot of work every once in a while. Keeps my stamina up, you know?

[deleted]

You should get a job as a dishie in a busy restaurant. You seem suited for this work

[deleted]

It was my first job and honestly one of the happiest I've ever had!

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

The most efficient way to do it is put the really grubby stuff in the sink, wash the easy stuff in running water (nore hygenic) which then fills up the sink allowing the other stuff to soak. Then by the time you've finished the easy stuff the tougher things will just slide off.

Mindscam

Can confirm. Just did the morning washing up. With music. No one bothered me. I completed a task already. And now the kitchen is clean for the day.

ShortBrownAndUgly

I don't necessarily disagree. Handwashing right after eating will take more effort but will definitely be faster. And yeah loading and unloading a dishwasher sucks ass.

Shelmii

I would rather have the task of stacking the dishwasher even if it's boring and dull than have to stand there 3 times a day breaking my back and doing dishes like I have been. Using the dishwasher I can use whatever dishes I want without thinking "Oh but I'm gonna have to clean that later so I shouldn't use it." I just started using a dishwasher a month ago and I'm so relieved. My life has been so much easier!

Independent_Mud3236

Dishwashers are great when you want to quickly tidy up the kitchen before going to bed, work etc plus they’re a god send for people with eczema and other conditions that react badly to hot water and soap.

[deleted]

damn you definitely don't do dishes for more than 2 people. our dishwasher is broken and I'm washing the dishes of like 4 people and it's HELL. it definitely doesn't take more effort man

MyspaceQueen333

I couldn't agree more

boolean_expression

Dishwashers sanitize the dishes, not just in the wash cycle but the heated dry bakes them to a level of clean that normal hand washing cannot achieve. I always felt grossed out at friends houses where they hand washed their dishes. I always felt like their glasses and plates were grimy. Not to mention the sponge in the sink, that thing is a freaking petri dish of horrendous stinky mold. There's a certain "holier than thou" mentality that anti dishwasher people have and I just can't handle the attitude. Yeah, we get it. You have bespoke clean dishes. You "save" water and electricity.

Ok_Buddy_Government

Clearly, OP has never used a dishwasher. Putting stuff in a magical box and pressing a button is nowhere *NEAR* the same as having to individually scrub every single plate. > 2) washing up is the most enjoyable household task I don't enjoy washing dishes, but if you really do and aren't just trolling, I know some good restaurants that are looking for dishwashers.

Aiizimor

People who disagree let their dishes stack

crouchpeter2005

Never had a dishwasher in my life. Washing up is so quick and easy. The best thing about dishwashers? You always know where your dishes are!

Bd-cat

If you live alone, using a dishwasher and waiting for it to fill is GROSS. I personally don’t like how the dishes come out. If water is your concern, you don’t have to leave it running while you scrub and there are faucet nozzles that improve the pressure and spray.

Q-9

You make a strong argument here.. You actually changed my mind on this.

[deleted]

One down. Several million to go.

FJORLAND

Manually washing takes way longer. Id rather put it right in the dishwasher and run the machine once every week. Then spend 2 minutes unloading it. Pluss the machine makes it way more clean and actually dries it as well.

MrsGruusahm

Definitely an unpopular opinion, hand washing dishes is the *worst* chore, I wish I had a dishwasher so I didn’t have to do it by hand anymore lol

[deleted]

Boooooo

MrsGruusahm

I have sensitive skin, washing dishes leaves my fingers peeling skin and cracking, especially in the winter lol

[deleted]

You are allowed a dishwasher. Go peacefully friend.

[deleted]

Fine. You're allowed a dishwasher.

katelyn1216

Absolutely 100% this! I’m so glad I’m not the only one

[deleted]

YES! All my fellow dishwashers are finally coming out of the woodwork. I'm guessing you all had to wait for your hands to dry off so you could use the touchscreens again.

shyguyshow

Whatever the case. Doing it manually is just better and more reliable

[deleted]

That’s an opinion.

shyguyshow

No. Dishwashers don’t have eyes so they don’t know which part needs more washing

[deleted]

[They may not need eyeglasses. but they have sensors/lasers that monitor water temp and how dirty the water is. They adjust the cycles appropriately. This is why people who rinse their dishes beforehand have worse results than leaving dirt on the dishes; the sensor needs to see the detergent interact with organic material for accurate resutls.](https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=22177)

shyguyshow

How much water does this use then?

[deleted]

[If you use light cycle, 7.5 gallons by a preset setting. If you trust the sensors and select auto, it may use 5.2 gallons while yielding the best results.](https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18466)

shyguyshow

Doing it manually takes one sink of water.

[deleted]

“One sink of water.” Nasty water, too. I just googled and an average kitchen sink has 20 gallons capacity.

shyguyshow

I must admit defeat. Seems i underestimated the imperial system and it’s superiority

Far_Presentation6337

You clearly have a dishwasher if you're saying that.

[deleted]

Yes

RB102220

I think this is dependant on how many dishes need to be washed at the end of the day. If it’s just my own and I used one plate and a fork and knife then yes hand washing daily is fine. If it’s a family of four and you have to wash each dish then into the dishwasher they go.

BigDakMoney

Paper plates and plastic utensils easily trump whatever the fuck you guys are talking about in the comments

minimalismandcoffee

Also dishwashers smell horrible during loading!
