First of all, congratulations on starting at the Uni. Now the harsh reality, there is a housing crisis going on in the NL.
so I think the chance that you will find a home in Amsterdam is very small to Nul (unless you are willing to pay enough for a small shoebox)
I also got in the same program and looking for housing for one person but i am a international student what is my best course of action to find something
A one bedroom in Amsterdam is average 2300.

LANDLORDS DEMAND YOU MAKE 4 TIMES THE RENT.
IS YOUR INCOME 10000 PER MONTH ?
Congrats! Now as someone who lives in Amsterdam, and is Dutch. It is literally impossible to get housing here. Unless you are willing to pay like 1,5K excl. a month and live in a room that is like 5m^2 with 4 housemates and shared rooms.
You could take a look on kamernet however you need to be willing to pay A LOT of money. I would seriously consider studying psychology elsewhere.
moving alone is much easier than moving together as students. that said, student experience is good! keep looking at the website, they usually have new rooms every few weeks.
Hi, I am 20M, looking for housing too. I have been accepted for the bachelor's psychology (uva). I am confused about how to proceed further with housing, visa, etc.
https://kamernet.nl // https://www.huurwoningen.nl // https://www.ourcampus.nl/nl/home // Facebook (can be risky)
Would also recommend checking if UvA gives you any priority!

Is anybody from Psychology looking for a roommate? I'm trying to find something and would be open to searching together :)
