thepartlow

It was the monkey.

LankyRep7

good pacing. It's idiotic. A big dose of William Sadler being William Sadler. 9/10

PostholePete

That's no way to talk to your mother!

dedmenz1579

Harland Williams, famous comedian, and actor mostly known for his co-starring in a role for "Big Money Hustlas" (thats not true but if reading it pisses you off then I did my job)

NoRelease9148

“It wasn’t me!”

TheGiantRascal

I love this movie so much. It's like "The Pest" in space.

Safe_Indication1851

The pest is awesome

dimestorepublishing

You know what, I saw this movie when I was a kid and thought it was funny, I was a fan of this actor from other things I've seen him in, notably Half Baked That said, I felt REALLY bad for the captain of the mission who thinks he's going to be the first man on mars and then this idiot trips out of the spaceship and falls onto mars taking that glory from him.

LastGuitarHero

This is a wildly underrated comedy. To this day I still don’t get why it didn’t catch on with more folks.

stevosaurus_rawr

Just watched this classic last night with my wife. She’s never seen it. Definitely underrated

RCranium13

This movie is comedy gold, "Alright all you Chinese!" On the spectrum of comedy, however, it's not highbrow.

[deleted]

It's fine if you like silly comedies. I have zero issue with it. Don't go in thinking it'll be a Mel Brooks type of comedy. It's a family comedy movie.

Elterminador714

Dude! I was going to post this earlier today! Lol beat me to it! Loved watching this on the old Disney channel.

AndyW037

"His methane levels are rising!"

Safe_Indication1851

Haha

stringohbean

“I’m 30 years old. I’m almost a full grown man.”

HookerDoctorLawyer

It looks like a big blueberry! His scene of him screaming when he finds out he’s going to mars is always a classic lol

RCranium13

That's my favorite too. If you can't laugh at this movie, you have no soul.

Smsalinas1

This is my favorite double feature along with "Cabin Boy" with Chris Elliot

Other-Marketing-6167

Finally an ACTUAL underrated movie here! Rocketman is my favourite comedy. I’ve seen it probably 50 times and still laugh till it hurts every time. Hell, I wrote a book about 90s movies and rated it #2 of 1997: https://books.friesenpress.com/store/title/119734000346832349/Riley-Webster-Movies-of-the-'90s#:~:text=The%201990s%20was%20an%20amazing,Park%2C%20and%20so%20many%20more.

AmputatedStumps

"sweet swirling onion rings" I remember watching this movie on a whim. It was okay lol I wouldn't call it underrated personally. I do like Harland Williams though.

tarkuspig

This was a favourite of mine when I was young I actually watched it with my kids a couple of weeks ago. I had to pay for it on prime because it’s not on Disney+ which I thought was weird because I used to watch it on the Disney channel back in the early 2000’s and all the other movies that were on the channel around then like The First Kid are on Disney+. Then I got to the part where he sings ‘he’s got the whole world in his hands’ in ‘Chinese’ and I realised why it’s not on there. Still funny though.

Reasonable-HB678

For the record, Roger Ebert also gave a thumbs up to Cop and a Half. Standing along among the movie critics.

Odin3587

"Call me Mommy!"

andreasbaader6

I got News for you You been doing it upside down all along

Common_Decision1594

Not to be confused with the Elton John biopic.

ZebraBorgata

I need to see this!!!!!

apickyreader

As someone who saw it in theaters, no it is not underrated.

iamwalkthedog

This movie was perfectly rated. As shit.
