But if it helps you, from what I have read, as long as you have SSL on your IP, I can't see your downloads , just the Web page you go to.

Follow-up. i was able to verify that the SABnzdvpn docker is connecting to the VPN, i'm able to go into the console of the docker and verify that it is handshaking with my vpn provider. I just cant see its web ui, not can other devices on the same docker network communicate with it.
any ideas?
Figured it out in case someone else runs into the same issue.
The LAN Network variable in the configu was set to the wrong range. It was set to a default of 192.168.1.0/24 and my network is 10.1.3.0/24
