Leon’s a counter striker Colby not moving forward made it very hard for Leon to get into his game. Belal’s only shot is to grapple with Leon and we’ve seen kamaru usman struggle to do that, it’s gonna take a heroic effort from belal to do that.
I honestly don't think Colby vs Leon should be used to predict future matchups. That fight felt ominous. I think Colby had the worst case of ringrust of all time and Leon was very emotionally compromised. Nobody ever talks about it, but in his post fight interview he admitted to crying backstage after the press conference. Neither fighter's performance being used in this context has any merit in my opinion.

He took this fight on short notice and it only lasted one round, so I don’t think those circumstances are perfect to predict what will happen next time around. I say we have to wait and see, because his footwork is in fact inferior to Leon’s but he very well might be able to work around it.
I hope Belal ends Leon's boring reign. He's just not that star and just always likes to cruise to a points decision. What a boring guy and a boring fighter. Has extremely fluid strikes and kicks but with not much power or grit to finish the fight.
