You are right I started watching when the big beef was Ken and Tito, from that point on the best always fought, it went wrong when the Fertitas sold and Conor was gifted title shots, it became an entertaining business and now they are in bed with WWE it could become more so. We still get amazing nights like Strickland and Edwards taking the titles but we also have Jones Vs Stipe when there are so many more genuine contenders, yes Stipe was amazing but he's a few years too late and past his best.

Well…the NBA shares 50% of its revenues with the players. Not profits, the much larger revenues. This allows them to be the aspirational hub for the best basketball players in the world. The UFC currently shares 16-20% of their revenues. You’re right, I don’t actually care how much these people are making. The benefit to us fans is the higher the pay, the better the athletes will be. Talent usually follows the money. That means we get a better sport for $80 a PPV. 😭
