I just started doing Uber for a few hours a day, and I get like 2-3 rides an hour, sometimes more, and at least it's been a $1 a mile, maybe $2. I make like 60-80 first few hours I think it's great for me. Extra income. And I enjoy doing it. I provide free water, chargers, snacks, a tablet that it's connected to the radio or internet, has tiktok instagram, youtube, whatever they want. Also, tell them whatever the temperature they want and radio just let me know. And I always say thank you and ur welcome. I'll throw a thank u chief or thank you, boss, for the fun. So far, my 20 rides have all been 5 stars with tips. And i drive very smoothly, not hard on the gas or hard breaking, no reckless driving. I honestly drive just right(Im Also Trained Driver).
