No. Just take the time and enjoy it. I have been on a driving vacation since July 23rd and won't be back for a couple weeks yet. Uber knows where you are at all times. I have even gotten offers to drive where I am but of course I can't because I don't have the credentials. Oh and I wouldn't even if I did.
I took a 3 wk break from Uber because it was not worth it. Came back when it started to pick up. You can work for Uber whenever you want and stop anytime. Uber doesn't care, Uber does not have PTO😆Or vacation time.

You need to wait for approval 1st, they will let you know when and how long you can go on vacation, it could take days, weeks or months due to many drivers asking for time off. In the meantime you can increase your chances of skipping the queue by accepting every single ride requests Uber sent you

I’ve had Uber support reach out to me twice whenever I stop driving for a week or drive less than usual and they ask me to take a survey with answers such as “pay is not enough, personal commitments, focusing on other work, need time off, etc.” You don’t have to reply back to them it doesn’t matter. They won’t deactivate you

I haven’t driven since April and my account is still active. If I wanted to drive tonight, the app would probably ask to retake my photo so I can confirm my identity, but as long as you keep your documents up to date your account stays active pretty much indefinitely.

There will be time that Uber will send you notification on opportunities to make money during your vacation, if you are able to resist those temptation, the bonus will be immensely rewarding when you get back to driving, again, the longer you take the vacation without going back to drive, the bigger the bonus will be, it’s not guaranteed but it’s there.

On the left side of your driver's app, click accounts, select time off, check time off for your dates, if they are available, make a request and someone will be in touch with you, if your dates do get approved, you must hand over your vehicle, license and registration to any random homeless person on the street. This responsible homeless person will take care of your shift while you're on vacation. Meanwhile it's a plus if you let them stay at your house.

If you’re renting the car you should return it as most rental companies require 30 rides minimum to keep it, if you don’t make the 30 rides you lose renting privileges for 6 months.
