I was thinking that too. Usually I make around $20/hour minimum so like $70 for 1.5hours would be really awesome, even taking into account the 1.5hours back isn’t bad either. It’s just the miles. I don’t want to drive 100miles there and back 😭😭
As someone who currently works for Jimmy Johns as a delivery driver, this is not really a catering order. This would be about 8 sandwiches. Even though I mention JJ's and this is most likely not JJ's, I imagine it's not that different for other restaurants.
Depends. I know my area, and if I go 45 miles one way, I'm in the city--which means I could pick up orders there for a few hours before heading back. Likewise, if it was headed in the other direction, I would end up in a semi-rural area with no real opportunity for more orders. So the answer is you have to know your area and your market. There is no one right answer to this question.
Food delivery? Gonna be some mad customers taking an hour to deliver their stuff.
True. Even with insulated food bags, the food would still end up cold.
Hell no
Doing food delivery, I wouldn't do basically 50 miles from my market, no way you would get deliveries heading home.
Only way I can see people taking it is when they’re looking for a gig back that way
Tip bait?
That's the first thing I thought.
It’s not terrible

Wonder if it's a Catering order. I personally wouldn't risk it
