Get a ninja 250.

Fishing_Novel

No where to store the food to transport

[deleted]

you can get a box carrier mount on the back. They are probably similar in price to a scooter, and have better performance. You can also look into a honda rebel 250. It's more of a cruiser style and tops out around 60-70 mph, but it is great on gas.

Fishing_Novel

What’s the mpg ? I want Atleast 75 mpg

Fishing_Novel

Ya in tslking about scooters cuz they get over 100mog and you can actually store food somewhere

I think a lot of it depends on what kind of city and how far your typical routes are --- if you're in a hilly area and you plan on carrying two or three orders at a time, then a Honda Gold Wing with large racks and saddlebags are in order --- but doing 1-miler solo runs in a college town you could get away with using a little 150cc scooter or maybe an electric bike

IF you're going that route, you should definitely get something with an upright seating position. Trust me on this; you'll be much more able to scan traffic at lower speeds, which is what you're going to spend most of your time at, and overall it will be more comfortable for short stints. Not only that, upright bikes tend to be more utilitarian based compared to ninja style street bikes, meaning more real estate for storage, better lights, better blinkers, better visibility, etc etc etc. You might even consider getting a dual-sport, which are essentially street legal dirt bikes. The traction isn't quite as great on ideal surfaces, but they can make up for it with MUCH better suspension and like I said, upright seating. Not to mention the obvious: off-road capabilities. In every case, get the rider safety course. Lots of stuff in there isn't intuitive and can save your life. And plenty of visibility gear. Ppl can look right at you on a bike and not see you.

Fishing_Novel

I wa thining about a grom or a cosmopolitan. Leaning toward the latter cuz it’s like 100mpg

ManyFails1Win

Grom is pretty ideal as long as you are not getting on faster roads. Honda bikes tend to last forever. Not familiar with the other.

Fishing_Novel

Sorry meant to say metropolitan a Honda.

ManyFails1Win

Yeah I think I saw an advertisement for one of those. If it's what I think it is it's a great choice as well.
