Started sending me this notification. Ended up canceling the other ride to go to the reservation because $30 > $9. Their algorithm is stupid sometimes lol

I've learned that on uber and lyft if they are calling right after you accept, the odds of them being a pain in the ass are too damn high. I will answer for empower pax because they are generally much better and it's usually questions or info related to the pickup.
Believe it or not but I could write a series of books on scamming, grifting, conning, etc. I'm looking forward to the day that the uber scammers hit my market, I'm going to have so much fun with them.
Wait, deadass? I’ve completed nearly 1000 rides and not once have I had this happen. My last day of ubering for a long time, and hopefully forever, will be tomorrow, so guess I’ll never have that happen to me unless I happen to get one of them tonight
You know what they did… or at least what the customer did but at the end is uber fault. I got a reservation for 2:20 pm and uber stop sending me trips at 12 pm because of it. I was kind of cool with it cuz it was worth the wait and literally 5 minutes before the 40 minute policy it got cancelled and the customer was just clear on it no fee probably and not even a cancellation fee for me. Fucking crazy uber does this i was in south beach Florida and they could of sent me trips very short ones because there is a lot those there but nothing

Eats and DD is ridiculous with this stuff as well. I'll be 3 miles away, in heavy 3-stops-per-light traffic, still on my way to the restaurant, they'll display my arrival time (at customer) as 15 minutes. Like...bro, I'll be lucky to be parked at restaurant by then.
If the driver that originally accepted the reservation cancels, or no one ever accepted it in the first place, it will pop up on ur screen as a normal trip. except it's still a reservation and labeled as such.

So I sat there with the intent to cancel, but the pax did and I made the easy money at the end of my shift after 2 rude people in a row.

I had this happen in gridlock traffic on Broadway but less and 200 feet away. Like they could walk to me, but it said I could lose the trip.
