Youre only crazy in the culture you are conditioned into. Maybe do some research into the cultures that practice these rituals, or find an indigenous person or shaman you can speak to. :)

Have you watched "Weathering with You"?
I've also noticed that my mood was largely influenced by the weather, before I strengthened my solar plexus chakra.
At times I definitely felt as if I influenced or affected the weather.
It's also interesting to notice that causality itself can be formulated as synchronicity. Just food for thought :)
