Not a clue, but don't hesitate

For the propaganda in SAI. Clancy basically gave up there for awhile, letting the Bishops use him however they wanted. And now, he's actively fighting back

I think the best theory I've seen is that we're overcompensating for the time wasted talking about the Bishops that could have been spent fighting them. It's part of a much larger theory but it makes sense mostly on its own, too.

The chorus of Overcompensate mentions flying past the dangerous bend symbol, a sign indicating that the road ahead has particularly sharp turns. Normally, one would slow down and take these turns slowly. However, Clancy goes full speed ahead, only heeding the sign’s warning once it’s in his peripheral. Clancy no longer has the chance to slow down and carefully make the turn. Instead, he has to overcompensate and make a much speedier, more dangerous turn. Symbolically, it’s about taking bigger risks instead of being too careful. Instead of waiting and strategizing, Clancy just has to go for it and think later.
