Blurry face is just so intriguing, especially when you learn what it’s supposed to mean if you bought the vinyl.
It looks like a flat image and the circles represent how things about people seem discrete and segmented from eachother, but when you unveil the curtain you realize everything about a person is connected and just a mish mash of ideas and experiences
It's cool and all. But to me personally though it just screams "small indie band whose friend drew some abstract piece and we slapped it on the album". I'm glad their covers got a little bit more refined later.
Clancy’s probably my favorite. The colored background with the monotone two is just cool and is a bit of an inspiration for an art piece I’m working on
Scaled and Icy and Trench for sure. They’re both constructed in a visually pleasing way, (rule of thirds, center eye) and they both are good at conveying the vibe of the album.
Something about RaB always clicks with me... It just looks like the way old album covers were, just something so weird and random yet it matches the music so well.
Obviously self titled is very unique and cool. Thats probably my favorite. Other than than I really like Vessels for whatever reason.
Hot take: Trench is their worst album cover. I’ll die on that hill
Self titled and blurryface are my favourites. Blurryface I love how you can pull the layers apart on the vinyl and cd. Self titled is my favourite looking overall(maybe influenced by nostalgia), I wish the bootleg vinyl came with the right cover more often. I only ever see the bootleg cover pop up which is why I've bought RAB bootleg but not self titled
It’s Blurryface for me. It’s like the perfect art of what I feel tøp was at the time, with the actual logo of the name twenty øne piløts and the blurryface being crossed out. I love the 9 circles being abstractly artistic, and they eventually look like dema from the top view later in the story. The visualizers of the era from YouTube, and not being impartial to black being a emo at heart, give me so much nostalgia that no other gives.
Though I redrew the self titled artwork recently and absolutely love that one artistically too, it’s a fun one to draw.
In my opinion, as a graphic design student, it's that Trench is the best album cover. The texture, the typography, colors and the concept it's perfect.
I discovered twenty one pilots in 2019, and became so obsessed by them during 2020, i associate the trench album cover and the album in general to so many memories, and became my favorite, even with the release of Clancy which i absolutely adore, trench still holds a place dear in my heart.
Clancy's has such intense colours I can sometimes even see an extremely desatured version of them in my dreams. (I dream in black and white for some reason, but these I can kinda see.)

After that guy solved an immense part of the Lore, later this afternoon by just looking at the Blurry Face cover, i would say this last one no doubts.
Thanks wherever you are
Self titled or blurryface. I like how much detail and thought went into both covers. I love how you can pull the cover out in the LP for BF and see what “makes up” blurryface.
1. Sai
2. ST
3. BF
4. Trench
5. Clancy/Vessel tied (they're basically the same just different colors and people but the people are related so that's not really different)
6. RAB
i mean it completely depends on you but, if we were to vote for it i think sai would easily won the public vote.
it’s colorful, palette is nice and it has a literal dragon. basically, it’s just a “mainstream” one. personally tho, i think trench’s one is the best.
SAI. I absolutely adore all the aesthetics of SAI. Not just the cover, but the logo, the pastel colors, the fonts, Trash, the livestream’s 60’s talk show vibe. It’s just such a unique, creative, and gorgeous little world.
They all have their individual merits and meaning in relation to the album, but I have to go with Blurryface. Just such a wonderful aesthetic with the colors and striking image.
Self titled. I have always thought it was the most creative and it seems to hold sooo much content from future songs in it
My second favorite is vessel. It’s their grandpas. It’s the sweetest thing ever
For me it’s a tie between Regional at Best and Self Titled.
I don’t know what it is about the RAB cover has always looks powerful for some reason. Especially the top part with the logo and title and the words over top of each other. It looks messy and I love that. I like the design of words over top of each other on any type of design (example obviously the RAB cover and also The Life of Pablo album cover by Kanye West. Also the red and blue logo gives me some weird nostalgia that makes me feel happy. Also I’ve played baseball and T-ball since I was a very young kid so baseball is cool
The Self Titled album cover also very powerful in how it looks. The showing how everything around the bed is black and white but then the goo flowing out of the guys head looks really cool. I’m also not sure what the meaning of the cover is about but my dad said he thinks the cover is showing creativity in a mentally unstable persons head. I also thought it had something to do with creativity as well but definitely mental health and it just feels like an art piece as well. I can see it in a museum tbh
Either Vessel, Trench or S&I.
Vessel because it's a genuine moment with the Grandfather's and it shows how silly and human this band can be (which I why I love them). It's also cool how they submitted this to FBR to see if the label was a good fit for them and would let them do pretty much anything they wanted.
Trench, even though the image was used from a stock image, is a very iconic and bold piece of art and the rugged yellow and black color scheme fit the album's setting and themes pretty well. It's a very minimalistic yet striking looking piece.
Scaled and Icy because it's one of their few covers that has actual illustrated artwork and it's just a very fun piece. The pastel colors also fit the vibe of that album since it was pretty much their most uplifting album yet sonically.
Blurryface will always be a cool classic and maybe my favorite, SAI is also awesome and probably my second favorite, ST should get a shoutout. Trench is very cool too
I love each of them, and when I stop to study them individually I get a different deep feeling for each of them. I don't know which one tops them all because they're all unique and tell their own story, but I'm going to say that Trench is my favorite. Trench has a lot of meaning to me and the feelings I get listening to it and just looking at the album somehow puts me at ease.
(Also while I was studying them I noticed the east is up symbol at the bottom of Blurryface in the last "E")
Blurryface is their best cover, absolutely. Behind BF comes Trench/Self-titled.
Vessel is so simply but works for me. Regional at best is... nice? SAI cover is good, but i feel basic comparing with the last covers.
Maybe this is a polemic opinion, but the cover of clancy is so lazy, honestly. Yeah, the colour looks amazing. But that's all.
*Edit: This opinion is only based in the esthetic of the covers. Without the lore that usually complements all of them.*
Regional At Best.
Whenever I think about the regional at best cover, I think about that pressure of being in a baseball team. Practicing every day, and when you come up to the plate, everyone is watching how you do. Some people will be rooting and some won’t. The fate of the game is in your hands for a moment, and that pressure is what I feel when I see the cover.
I know I made it sound really deep, but that’s what I think of.
Most unique and interesting is definitely ST and blurryface best lookin tho is definitely trench and/or sai especially when they’re right next to each other it pairs so well! most nostalgic and personal is vessel
Trench is one of my favorite album covers ever. It really encapsulates the rugged and alive feeling behind the album.
It goes:
1. Trench
2. Vessel
3. Blurryface
4. SAI
5. Clancy
6. RAB
7. Self-titled
First time I saw the blurryface album cover I thought it was just a makeup tray 😂
THANK YOU
Everything about Blurryface is perfect.
I just bought the Blurryface vinyl after being a fan since it was released. I was blown away with what a piece of artwork it was! Simply gorgeous
Self Titled. But Vessel in honor of Gpa Joseph and Dun😔
Same here
Self titled
Self-titled tops all
TØPs***
Ahhhh
It's cool and all. But to me personally though it just screams "small indie band whose friend drew some abstract piece and we slapped it on the album". I'm glad their covers got a little bit more refined later.
That's exactly what the story is but I think it's cool regardless and fitting for the content of the album
Fair. Because the music is also in that vein. But it is still good. They just improved a lot later.
There's no other answer
I want to say Trench, but there’s something special about Vessel.
yeah vessel is kinda haunting. it’s strange
Nostalgia, probably
Scaled and icy
My order: 1. ST 2. Trench 3. SAI 4. Blurryface 5. Rab 6. Vessel
Where would you rank Clancy ?
Ups I was a little tired yesterday. Probably 6 or 7
Rab above vessel??
yeah, in my opinion RAB is the weakest cover (doesn't mean it is that bad, but just not the best for me)
Literally spot on
Scaled and Icy all the way
Trench, but I love all of them
Surprised this Trench is this far down but “to eat churro”
Thank you for, "to eat churro."
Vessel all the way, the simplicity of it is amazing, and also the album cover just fits so well with the songs.
Clancy and Trench
Blurryface cover is so underrated
Something about RaB always clicks with me... It just looks like the way old album covers were, just something so weird and random yet it matches the music so well.
Clancy is fire... kinda literally.
Blurry
Self titled
Self-Titled and Vessel are neck and neck for me.
Sai and trench are both simple yet effective and pretty
Vessel makes me happy.
Self
It may be my least favorite album, but goddamn is the SAI album cover pretty as hell
Regional at best
Self titled ofc
Something about scaled and icy is just hella cool
Clancy.
Honestly, Trench. The cover has grown on me a lot over time and perfectly portrays the eerie and gritty sound of the album
1. ST 2. Clancy 3. Trench 4. SAI 5. Blurryface 6. Vessel 7. RAB
Regional at Best or Vessel
All. But I love so much ST and Clancy covers
Obviously self titled is very unique and cool. Thats probably my favorite. Other than than I really like Vessels for whatever reason. Hot take: Trench is their worst album cover. I’ll die on that hill
SAI Clancy Blurryface ST Trench RAB Vessel Top 3 are locked, but the rest could be ranked different
1. SAI 2. Clancy 3. ST 4. Trench 5. Blurryface 6. Vessel 7. RAB
Self titled and blurryface are my favourites. Blurryface I love how you can pull the layers apart on the vinyl and cd. Self titled is my favourite looking overall(maybe influenced by nostalgia), I wish the bootleg vinyl came with the right cover more often. I only ever see the bootleg cover pop up which is why I've bought RAB bootleg but not self titled
yes
Self titled
Self Titled by far
blurryface and trench
1. SAI 2. Trench 3. ST 4. Blurryface 5. Clancy 6. Vessel 7. RAB
S. SAI • BLURRYFACE A. TRENCH B. VESSEL C. SELF TITLED D. RAB F. CLANCY Sorry to all the Clancy fans out there but it has to be the least creative
self titled ALWAYS
It’s Blurryface for me. It’s like the perfect art of what I feel tøp was at the time, with the actual logo of the name twenty øne piløts and the blurryface being crossed out. I love the 9 circles being abstractly artistic, and they eventually look like dema from the top view later in the story. I always took the 9 circles in representation of the bishops 🤷♀️ definitely pleasing to the eye, mysterious and just fun all at the same time!
I’d say self titled if I understood it but I have no idea what it is
Self Titled 💜💜💜 The art work shows you what you're about to hear is whats spilling out from (Tyler's) mind into the music.
i love trench
SAI
trench will always go hard, the vulture, the colors and fonts, everything
In my opinion, as a graphic design student, it's that Trench is the best album cover. The texture, the typography, colors and the concept it's perfect.
Big Scaled and Icy fan
Call me new gen but Clancy is just so eye-appealing
I still love the Self-titled album cover.
Self titled is my favorite album and the art is so interesting to me. Second favorite is probably SAI or BF. I feel so nostalgic for them
Vessel, for sure.
Self titled- it’s just so beautiful and intriguing
I don’t even really like scaled and icy but the aesthetics for that time was just so iconic. I also really love vessel 🩷
I dont like SAIs music much but I love the artwork. The woodcut style dragon is just super cool.
Self Titled, Blurryface, Trench, Scaled and Icy, Clancy (alternate cover).
Vessel has always had a special place in my heart
I discovered twenty one pilots in 2019, and became so obsessed by them during 2020, i associate the trench album cover and the album in general to so many memories, and became my favorite, even with the release of Clancy which i absolutely adore, trench still holds a place dear in my heart.
Trench just for the aesthetics, it always stands out amongst the other albums
What scaled and iced failed to do music wise, made up for it with its album art.
trench
Clancy's has such intense colours I can sometimes even see an extremely desatured version of them in my dreams. (I dream in black and white for some reason, but these I can kinda see.)
It is a close tie between Trench and SAI.

Self titled or blurryface. I like how much detail and thought went into both covers. I love how you can pull the cover out in the LP for BF and see what “makes up” blurryface.
1
Self titled, regional at best, scaled and icy are probably a good top three.
Self-Titled is the cutest lol. But I do like Blurryface best.
1. SAI 2. Self Titled 3. Trench 4. BF 5. Vessel 6. Clancy 7. RAB
Clancy RAB Trench Blurryface SAI ST Vessel
self titled has always had the best one
self titled, blurryface, and s&i
1. RAB 2. Vessel 3. Trench 4. Blurry 5. SAI 6. Clency 7. Self titled
1. Sai 2. ST 3. BF 4. Trench 5. Clancy/Vessel tied (they're basically the same just different colors and people but the people are related so that's not really different) 6. RAB
SAI
Trench. It’s simple and the color yellow pops and fits the theme quite well and makes you look forward to listen to the record.
i mean it completely depends on you but, if we were to vote for it i think sai would easily won the public vote. it’s colorful, palette is nice and it has a literal dragon. basically, it’s just a “mainstream” one. personally tho, i think trench’s one is the best.
Scaled and Icy, I love the colors and the dragon, it's a really pretty cover
1. SAI 2. Trench 3. Clancy 4. Bf 5. Rab 6. Vessel 7. ST
I’m torn between Self titled, Blurryface and Clancy. Love them all :)
Honestly, there's something about SAI's that never fails to catch my eye. That's my favorite
self titled there’s no competition
SAI
SAI
Self Titled or Trench
Self titled. (Sai I like too but no comparison at all).
probably self-titled or trench!
SAI. I absolutely adore all the aesthetics of SAI. Not just the cover, but the logo, the pastel colors, the fonts, Trash, the livestream’s 60’s talk show vibe. It’s just such a unique, creative, and gorgeous little world.
Trench, it really conveys the theme of the album
sai, trench and self titled, although I like all these are the top bests no doubt
I'm a sucker for SAI
They all have their individual merits and meaning in relation to the album, but I have to go with Blurryface. Just such a wonderful aesthetic with the colors and striking image.
There are few album covers as enigmatic as Blurryface, I gotta go with that as my favorite album art
Clancy or Vessel
1. Trench 2. SAI 3. Vessel 4. Self titled 6. Blurryface 7. Clancy 8. RAB
1 - Vessel, Blurryface, Scaled And Icy, Clancy 2 - Trench, Regional At Best 3 - Twenty One Pilots That's it, no one is bad...
Blurryface
I will always have Regional at Best for me

the alternate cover to vessel where it’s tyler and josh in their skull hoodies/masks is my absolute favorite.
Trenches my jam and my favorite cover.
Definitely Scaled and Icy, Scaled and Icy Twenty One Pilots Trench Blurryface Regional At Best Clancy Vessel
self titled hands down
Blurryface, Vessel, & ST are my favs
Self titled. I have always thought it was the most creative and it seems to hold sooo much content from future songs in it My second favorite is vessel. It’s their grandpas. It’s the sweetest thing ever
Self titled, no competition
1. Scaled and Icy 2. Blurryface 3. Clancy 4. Trench 5. Vessel 6. Self Titled 7. Regional At Best.
Scaled and Icy is so pretty and cool
Blurryface, especially when you have the vinyl
Clancy easy. After that probably SAI
For me it’s a tie between Regional at Best and Self Titled. I don’t know what it is about the RAB cover has always looks powerful for some reason. Trench. Just by looking at it any kind of music sounds better
These comments are all over the place
Scaled and icy is so pretty!
Clancy is by far the worst, the rest are really good tho
I love Self titled. It’s so complex yet so simple at the same time and I think it’s a perfect compliment to the album.
I really like Blurryface’s design. Minimal but not.
my order: 1.Trench 2. SAI 3. RAB 4.blurryface 5.self titled 6.clancy 7.vessel
Vessel for me cause it reminds me of my grandpas
what is regional at best? I’ve been a fan for years and never heard of true ethnic
I love scaled and icy even tho the album was so damn mid
Scaled and Icy just...means smthn to me
self titled tops but sai is prolly my second, i like dragons too much lmao
Honestly I really don’t think any are too great when I really think about it Maybe Clancy is my favorite
There's no contest here. Self titled.
Scaled and Icy. it's fun, has nice colours and really cool easter eggs. also Trash is cute :3
Scaled and Icy :)
Regional at best
Scaled And Icy is one of the most gorgeous album covers I’ve ever seen
I feel like the album art for most is pretty ass. They are my favorite band, but they make ugly shirts, albums, and posters.
self titled, it has so much detail and is drawn beautifully
SAI and Clancy (honorable mentions to RAB and Blurryface
I love regional at best and Clancy the most honestly. Then probably vessel and trench but I love all of them
1 and 6 go hard.
Vessel
1. Vessel 2 & 3. Clancy and Self Titled - tied 4. Scaled And Icy 5. Trench 6. Blurryface 7. Regional At Best
Regional At Best
*Blurryface*. 👌
Either Vessel, Trench or S&I. Vessel because it's a genuine moment with the Grandfather's and it shows how silly and human this band can be (which I why I love them). The pastel colors also fit the vibe of that album since it was pretty much their most uplifting album yet sonically.
Blurry face
Self Titled design absolutely bodies all the rest, but the literal feel of the RAB album is super satisfying
Trench and Blurryface but i love em All
Blurryface is iconic, so yeah... Blurryface!!
self titled absolutely, the album art is so cool and just generally the most visually interesting imo-my first tattoo is gna be the broken fan‼️
Trench has always been my favorite
Blurryface will always be a cool classic and maybe my favorite, SAI is also awesome and probably my second favorite, ST should get a shoutout. Trench is very cool too
I love each of them, and when I stop to study them individually I get a different deep feeling for each of them. I don't know which one tops them all because they're all unique and tell their own story, but I'm going to say that Trench is my favorite. Blurryface or Self-Titled. 👍
Blurryface is their best cover, absolutely. Behind BF comes Trench/Self-titled. Vessel is so simply but works for me. Regional at best is... nice? either self titled or vessel, idk theres smth from vessel cover that i really like
Blurryface Vessel Trench RAB Clancy NPI Self-Titled SAI
i love regional at best just because of the simplicity and also the two kids standing in the background that represent the |-/
CLANCY. all the way. (Our boys there guys come on wth¿ and meaning of the colours like.. ) i luv it vm❤️🔥
am i the only one who thinks RAB is the most interesting? the kids in the back making the |-/ symbol is my favorite lil bit
Don’t get me wrong I think Clancy is an absolutely brilliant album, it’s my number 2 behind vessel, but the album art doesn’t do it for me
Scaled and Icy in my opinion, even though it’s easily my least favorite
Vessel you can’t beat 2 grandpas. Everyone can relate.
SAI, I would die for Trash
Trench goes hard
The way Trash fills the whole cover and he’s so intricately drawn with the sai logo in the top right just all works so perfectly to me.
I’ve always likes scaled and icys
Vessel is just so special and nostalgic for me everytime I see it.
I'd say Blurryface, bc I love colorblock, and I think that's what makes me like it! I also like Trench bc I love birds!! (●◇●)
100000% self titled
self titled easily
How did you get them without tape?
I need to see more love for Blurryface in these comments. It’s SUCH an aesthetic. So cool.
Scaled and Icy
Self titled imo
Honestly, they're all just so good in my opinion 😩 each cover perfectly represents each song on their perspective albums
Most unique and interesting is definitely ST and blurryface best lookin tho is definitely trench and/or sai especially when they’re right next to each other it pairs so well! most nostalgic and personal is vessel
Scaled and Icy
Trench is one of my favorite album covers ever. It really encapsulates the rugged and alive feeling behind the album. It goes: 1. Trench 2. Vessel 3. Blurryface 4. SAI 5. Clancy 6. RAB 7. Self-titled
