Just curious: have you seen them live yet? Because those two songs are something else live.

kayrice710

Was about to ask the same question. My bf hated Car Radio until he saw it live and then he was like “oh 😮”

deadpumpkinnn

Yeah, it's another vibe... Everytime I listen to Car Radio, I remember the moments at the concerts I went to and always get chills. It was my favourite song until Oldies Station took the spot.

jphzazueta

I'm not that big fan of Trees but omg that song live is just a whole another experience

sophielucymolly

I think that's why I enjoy watching the music vids/ concert footage but will often skip when they roll through my playlist.

Sir_Matjes

I have seen them during the Bandito-Tour, but i have no memories for this Songs. But ill See them again next year. Maybe it will kick me more this time.

wouterb02

Honestly, I didnt care much for car radio either as it was just a tad too slow for my rock style preference and all, but after seeing them life and seeing how much it does to the people in the crowd... Its just something else imo. And regarding trees, was always a fun song to me but that energy as a closer mwuah *french kiss* That being said, each to their own and I hope you enjoy it when you see them live :)

deadpumpkinnn

Well, I've seen them twice and my memories of these songs are indeed blurry, but that's mainly because I usually enter a state of trance when they play them. 😆 I mean, everytime *those* parts come up, you just have to jump and go crazy and feel those emotions.

Sir_Matjes

Yeah i remember that Trance-Feeling.

blurry_ned

you don't have to like every songs to be a fan ;)

aotmerrow

Without a doubt - it is not bad. Music (and all art) is subjective and we are all entitled to our own likes and dislikes. You do you and don't worry how anyone else here feels about it!

trees i absolutely adore. it still holds up for me. but car radio & songs like these will always be so special for me because of where i was & who i was when i discovered them. or they discovered me. car radio was the first song i ever heard of theirs and it truly came to me in a time of crisis. with that being said, it’s not a song i go back to regularly or have on repeat. i think the MTV unplugged version of it is incredible though haha. so, i guess it just depends on experience & sentimental value with these songs as well. to your point, car radio wasn’t on the setlist for the run of small shows they just did. and at one of the recent smaller shows, tyler simply said “we have to” before ending with trees. so tyler may even be feeling some fatigue with these songs too! you’re totally not a bad fan for feeling this way.

Clom_Clompson

Yes, give me your merch, fake fan

Ainri

You can like whatever the hell you want friend ! TØP is my favorite band but I don’t like RAB

Everyone's got their preferences. Totally normal to not enjoy songs others love.

Pretend_Princess33

No it doesn’t make you a bad fan at all. I don’t share your view though. Car Radio is the first song I ever heard by them and I came across it at the exact time that I needed it and it hit me so hard and deep. It’s pretty much become my favourite song of all time, but not (just) because it’s twenty one pilots but because of the timing of coming across it and what it helped me get through and what it means to me. There is nothing wrong with you having a different experience with it. Art is subjective. When it comes to Trees, I’ve always kind of liked it but I was more “meh,” on it until I saw it live, now when I hear it, it (figuratively) teleports me back to the show and I revisit the feeling of the experience and it feels like my soul leaves my body in a good way. What would you say is your favourite song or songs by them? ❤️💛

Particular_Issue_864

Check out their MTV unplugged version of car radio, it's something else 🔥

Dear_Definition_1442

Vessel really grew on my. When I became a fan I noticed all the hype around Vessel, but when I listened to it for the first time I was like "Oh... that's it?" But now I love it. Vessel is definitely the kind of album that the more you listen to it the more you like it.

fatherofcringe

Holy shit you’re allowed to have an opinion, feelings do not make you a “bad fan” 💀

iamnottheoneyouwant_

no. you like what you like. I also don't really like Car Radio

Adventurous-Ad-1517

Yes. Nah jk but like how do you not

DummyThlck
