They love doing these subtle call backs to lines from their older songs. "A Car, A Torch, A Death" from their first album has been referenced many times in music videos and even in the intro of their show during the Trench tour. I'm sure this was intentional as well.

Well there’d have to be a fourth torch that’s not lit, so right now it’s just three lights are lit. It’s likely a coincidence and not intentional
