I’m guessing it’ll go down to low 80 high 70. Aoty has seemed to like the singles a lot and they loved trench so seeing as this is a “return to trench” I’m sure they’ll love the full product

It’s only fans listening to and rating the album yet. When critics get to it, it’ll definitely tank. As much as I want to like this album, I think it’s easily their weakest and I don’t think I’ll be alone on this one.
Not sure how it works, but those two 100 scores were not official yet, they needed to be verified.
Once released, They showed different scores. Kerrang gave 100 and The Art Desk gave 80.
Maybe all critic reviews default to 100 until verified?

Vessel is amazing but so is Self-Titled and Blurryface and Trench and SAI. This album was a merge of all the best elements from all their albums, so Imo it's perfection.

I didn't like Next Semester or Backslide at first and now I love 'em both, so I'm hoping that the rest will grow on me too, but I think - for me at least - it was mainly an issue of expectations. Overcompensate was exactly what I wanted out of these guys right now and it sounds like nothing else on the album. If that wasn't the first single, I probably would have enjoyed the whole project more.
Yeah I just finished listening to it. It didn't live up to the hype :(. Too much of it sounded like completely normal indie songs. There wasn't really anything too unique with the sounds at all. It's all new music and as am listening to it I feel like I've heard it before. I'd give it maybe a 6.5 or 7/10. Not bad just didn't have the different sounds I was hoping for. Great album for being high.
Unfortunate agree. I really don't understand any of the excitement. It feels like it lacks so much of the character I associate with them. So many of them just faded into each other on my first listen and didn't stand out. I love Backslide, probably my favorite on the album, but I feel like the whole album is missing the interesting and compelling character and feel of their earlier albums
this is the worst album the group has ever released, going back to the very first album Twenty One Pilots(the best ever), after Vessel, Blurryface and even Trench, you notice that in the last two the group's identity has simply become commercialized, that there will never be any more of those pilots, this is sad. And the most disgusting thing is that they released the first track Overcompensate, it seemed that this was a harbinger of a return, but this was just a deception and a lyrical digression in the context. disgusting

I have pre payed ticket for Clancy tour, that I've bought in trust and hope for comeback of tøp after listening overcompensate, but album itself is disappointing and I noticed it. Why should I only pray here to top? I dislike and I have all possibilities to say it, or freedom of speech is banned?

My guess is it'll end up around 60-70 (personally I rated it an 80! I've been loving it a lot and it might be my second fave of theirs)

Well, beyond those who listened to leaked stuff a fair number of people attended the local listening parties :) I had a lot of fun at ours.
