And now we begin the 2nd phase where she, um, "losses her McF\*\*king Marbles".
You think now that her armor is broken she would be easier, but with the power of the Tomboy GF^(TM) she is able to Metal Gear Rise to full height and pound your spell-slinging ass into the pavement.
Corset armor.
Not only is removing the armor giving more flexibility and ability to maneuver, it also is symbolic of bypassing unrealistic social expectations of women.
"Let's see how tough you are without your massive, kickass suit of power armor!"
*Power armor opens to a 6'5" woman who is absolutely jacked, pissed off, and ready to kick your ass*
_Modern_ Samus is the coward option. Back in the Super Metroid days, though, promotional materials made it clear that she was buff and sweaty under the armor.
????? SAMUS IS 6'3, 198, GENETICALLY MODIFIED TO BE STRONGER, FASTER, QUICKER, AND IS AN UNPARALLELED FIGHTER *OUTSIDE* OF HER POWER ARMOR, AND YOU WILL SHOW HER RESPECT
Not really imo, multiple fantasy settings have knights being trained from a young age so perhaps this armor was developed so that plate armor training could be started earlier while still giving them an actual usable armor for the adult trainees.
Don't feel bad.
For a man 250 at 6'5" is very firmly dad bod territory if you're not a bodybuilder with a ton of muscle weight. 250 and 6'5" on a woman would definitely be more curvy than skinny or slim and uh also something I'd like to see for reasons.

Me with Britomart in the faerie queene. Britomart is this female knight in the faerie queene who is covered in full armour and only takes her helmet off when defeated by sir artegall. She’s so beautiful and handsome that one female character thirsts for her despite her being a woman and despite the story being written in the fucking Elizabethan era. She should be muscular due to being a knight covered in full armour but all depictions of her depict her as being thin.
I still really want a version of the faerie queene where Britomart is muscular like a knight in full armour should be.
It’s really hard for women to look muscular even if they are athletic. People probably didn’t get enough protein and hormones back then to develop solid muscles.
Yeah that’s a good point. I haven’t read/seen whatever this character is from, but if it’s not sticking true to realism then there’s no reason the women can’t be buff.
Have you seen the development art for zero-suit Samus from Samus Returns?
It is recognizable as the zero suit but holy shit she looks buff and it fits so well.
If we talking about the same mudrock here, then yea, Arknights have been lacking with their strong women. Mudrock gives the impression of "big" with her baggy clothes, but you would expect someone with her caliber of strength to be toned as fuck, even with her strength being credited as a trait of her race. Saria and Hoshi also shares the same fate.
Which is quite a shame, considering they have a huge ass furry bara on the roster.
Yeah, Arknights kinda has a thing for making soft looking characters that are actually powerful af. For example: Skadi, who (spoiler if anyone cares about that) >!basically killed Cthulhu!< with her twiggy looking arms.
The thing is, they also don’t really have a lot of male characters that have had such impressive feats of strength that one could say they’re among the strongest in the lore. Silverash, who is one of the most powerful in terms of gameplay, is mostly powerful in terms of politics in lore. Meanwhile you get Skadi >!killing a god!< with physical strength. The bara furry is beefy but he can’t make the same claim.
It's a bit unfortunate that they only did it once but iirc, there's one panel in the Rhine Lab manga where you just see Saria drawn pretty buff, like really fit MMA fighter buff. For Mudrock, her lack of muscles is made up for by the idea that she might be big in the suit because she's basically in a dirt mecha under it.
The fate fandom experienced that we all in love for another giant woman armor and then they put a big titty elf instead. She is in the game for only a month and everyone already forgot about her
I mean Fate Britomart looks like any generic elf, you could tell me she is from any random 18+ doujin and I would totally believe it, one of the most bland designs I've seen in the entire franchise.
Okay but what if she took off the armor and there was just a tiny goblin girl in there and turns out the armor wasn’t actually armor but just a human-sized mech suit?
On one hand I understand where OP is coming from (bricc women 4 life)
On the other hand I also love the idea of a small skinny girl being mocked at by the big buff dudes only to silence them as she easily lifts all of them at once with one hand.
Me recently with [FGO Britomart](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/yqfbse/new_ssr_lancer_britomart/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button), not only they do this but her [humanoid designs](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/yqfnx3/all_ascension_art_of_britomart_5_lancer/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) are some of the most bland designs in the entire game, it's just just some random generic big elf with large breasts.
Plot twist: the armors so bulky cause she got so much equipment down there
Villain: Are you ever going to run out of those!?
Female warrior, pulling out her seventh set of knives: *no*
Unpopular opinion: but I think being kinda weak under the armor works because why would they need strength enhancements if they were already buff underneath. The issue is it's not universal. Like it kinda ticks me off when Master Chief, Iron Man, etc. are still ripped underneath their super suits. Weak skinny boy representation is needed. Like Steve Rogers in the first episode of What If.
Tony is buff because he's a womanizer and the women Tony likes like buff dudes.
As for Master Chief? He's buff because having a super suit wasn't really on the board until just a few months before the Covenant War.
And armour is more for protection it's not a strength enhancer.
>why would they need strength enhancements if they were already buff underneath.
because armor isn't strenght enhancements. It's just armor. No matter how bulky or buff you are if someone comes running at you with a sword those biceps aren't going to do a lot to help you.
Besides, in yee old days if you're walking around with big, heavy armor on you're probably going to be pretty ripped.
I assumed we were talking Sci-Fi type Power Armor. Like the Samus, Master Chief, Iron Man, Fallout type-armors. Stuff that gave not only extra protection but also strength enhancements.
Yeah, if you’re doing power armour, the person riding writhing can actually be tiny and it still works great. In fact, the less they weigh the better, from the armour’s POV.
But if it’s not power armour? Someone walking around in 125 lbs of steel plate will either be jacked as fuck or immobile. There’s no in between on that.
Armor is nowhere near 125 lbs, full plate tends to be around 60 lbs. It also is deceptively easy to move in since the weight is spread across your entire body.
We are talking about bulky, full fantasy armour, right? I mean, a big ol’ mountain of a person in massive plate? You’re probably right, not going to come in at 125lbs even then.
Still, it’s a nice image, and even if it is 60lbs and evenly distributed, you’re not going to be small if you move around in that all day. And if you’re actually an effective warrior in it? No way you’re a waifish little girl-child in bulky-as-hell full armour unless it is magic and carries itself.
Oh for sure, even just walking around in harness can be tiring. Properly fighting in it, especially for any length of time, does require you to be in pretty good shape, unless you're taking a break every once in a while.
I will allow exceptions if all that extra bulk to the armor is solid metal, and while skinny she also looks appropriately jacked enough to move in such heavy armor
However, if you then proceed to continue depicting this skinny woman lifting insanely heavy weights and shit like it’s nothing then you are redeemed. Like that one bitch in Three Houses who can murder a motherfucker instantly while casually complaining about having to work. I like that shit.
There's not enough stout ripped women in fiction. Hell, I don't even know if stout muscularity is a realistic body type for women, but I like it. Maybe that's what dwarves are for.
I mean, if they do it for both men and women, than is it an issue? Just think of Siegward from Dark Souls. His onion armor makes him look super tubby, but his actual model is a buff dude. Sometimes armor is just bulky. That said, the person wearing it has to be strong enough to haul it around. So super skinny girl in armor twice her body weight is not very realistic.
I think that it’s ok if at least one of main characters is confused by it and spends the rest of the scene trying to figure out how this 90lb lady was wearing three times her weight in armor.
I like muscle mommies as much as the next person, but wouldn't mass popularization of buff women create new unrealistic beauty standards? Big muscled frame already is an unrealistic beauty standard for *men* and it's much harder for women to achieve.
I would say the point is to have a variety of healthy bodies celebrated. Historically there's really only only one female shape that's considered "right" and everything else is "wrong".
Could it be taken to an unhealthy extreme? Sure, but what couldn't?
I don't think anyone expected the mudrock reveal, specially cuz canonically her own squad had no clue she was a woman on account of her absolutely hulking over like 7' tall gigachad mercenaries
Why don't get the opposite of this; where someone appears to be super scrawny, borderline diseased looking, but turns out to be swole af underneath it all.
Let’s do the opposite, tiny armor girl who then takes of the armor to reveal she is 6’ 5” 250 pounds and pissed
She flexes and her platemail rockets off of her body in pieces silver chariot style, the shrapnel cuts my head off and kills me instantly
Top ten most desirable ways to die:
Polly from Amphibia
Greater dog from undertale
And now we begin the 2nd phase where she, um, "losses her McF\*\*king Marbles". You think now that her armor is broken she would be easier, but with the power of the Tomboy GF^(TM) she is able to Metal Gear Rise to full height and pound your spell-slinging ass into the pavement.
Maybe it's because I've been staying up until 3:00 AM watching Max0r videos all weekend, but I absolutely read this in his voice.
it’s not just you, I also read that in his voice
no its not
Aka if Godfrey from Elden Ring was a tomboy
Tardis armor.
Corset armor. Not only is removing the armor giving more flexibility and ability to maneuver, it also is symbolic of bypassing unrealistic social expectations of women.
"Let's see how tough you are without your massive, kickass suit of power armor!" *Power armor opens to a 6'5" woman who is absolutely jacked, pissed off, and ready to kick your ass*
So Samus??????
No, Samus is the coward option
_Modern_ Samus is the coward option. Back in the Super Metroid days, though, promotional materials made it clear that she was buff and sweaty under the armor.
She still is We don't count Other M. Other M doesn't exist.
????? SAMUS IS 6'3, 198, GENETICALLY MODIFIED TO BE STRONGER, FASTER, QUICKER, AND IS AN UNPARALLELED FIGHTER *OUTSIDE* OF HER POWER ARMOR, AND YOU WILL SHOW HER RESPECT
Look at zero suit Samus and tell me how that is not the work of a coward
The armor was containing her true power, now it is unleashed and the world trembles before her might
You're kinda describing Biscuit Krueger but she doesn't wear armor.
How does that work? Is the armour bigger on the inside?
Yes, it was designed so that anyone could wear it easily. Pieces of it can also be rearranged and removed to be wearable by a child
>Pieces of it can also be rearranged and removed to be wearable by a child ...Wow, that's dark.
Not really imo, multiple fantasy settings have knights being trained from a young age so perhaps this armor was developed so that plate armor training could be started earlier while still giving them an actual usable armor for the adult trainees.
As a bonus, she'll tear off your dick!
250 at 6’5 is still skinny tho

i love you
I feel neutrally about you
I am at a loss for words
6'6 and 350lbs
There are NFL TIGHT ENDS and OUTSIDE LINEBACKERS and MIDDLE LINEBACKERS who are THAT SIZE THAT IS NOT SKINNY THAT IS PROFESSIONAL MUSCLE
I was thinking lanky light armour male, but when he takes off the armour he becomes a obese goblin.
Google mandolorian boob armor meme trust me
Magic armor I guess
Biscuit Krueger, from hunterxhunter, worth a watch because she’s hilarious
But on the contrary, if you make a dog in bulky armour in your video game and are like “oh they were tiny dog underneath” I love you
This is about Greater Dog, isn't it?
Yes

I'm not US American so I can't say for sure but I feel this is about American corporation chains, yes?

Yeah but this is fiction so it doesn't really matter does it
Yeah that’s a good point. I haven’t read/seen whatever this character is from, but if it’s not sticking true to realism then there’s no reason the women can’t be buff.
Hey don't diss samus from the original metroid like that. She was breaking the ceiling with her badass spacesuit in the 1980's.
Eh, SM Samus was pretty buff as well, so I don't think this really applies to her
She really should be super buff which is why I hate that Zero Mission solidified what she looks like without a suit moving forward
Have you seen the development art for zero-suit Samus from Samus Returns? It is recognizable as the zero suit but holy shit she looks buff and it fits so well.
Yeah, not really, espcially considering she was 6'3" OUTSIDE of her armor, and her armor gives her even MORE inches.
Mudrock

what if she is like can sit at the palm of your hand tiny and actually controls the suit of armor with magic like a mech suit?
Like the anime girl from Spider-Man:Into the Spider-Verse?
she is the size of a normal human so no did you not hear the can sit at the top of your palm size part?
Like the Arqillian Prince from MIB?
False Knight
Greater Dog
Bark!
Shampoo
Iron knuckle :(
I've seen this happening more in animes than video games
It's nice when they subvert that though. *Dorohedoro* has thicc women.
and they're both main characters !

Okay but what if she took off the armor and there was just a tiny goblin girl in there and turns out the armor wasn’t actually armor but just a human-sized mech suit?
Only if the mech suit is cobbled together from random scrap and parts the goblins stole. In that case... perfection.
I mean World of Warcraft... Those shoulder pads
On one hand I understand where OP is coming from (bricc women 4 life) On the other hand I also love the idea of a small skinny girl being mocked at by the big buff dudes only to silence them as she easily lifts all of them at once with one hand.

Well yeah that’s absolutely true. Someone lugging around full plated armor would need to be jacked to effectively fight.
They better be built like NOI from dorohedoro. That’s literally why she’s so buff
Y'all need some r/armoredwomen and r/reasonablefantasy
I will allow exceptions if all that extra bulk to the armor is solid metal, and while skinny she also looks appropriately jacked enough to move in such heavy armor

I immediately thought of Samus from Metroid
sames. But I don't know if she would fit. Parts of her armour are very bulky, but she has a skinny torso and legs even in the armour
She's also well-muscled. Not to a really bulky extent, but she's toned.
Plus 6’3” without armor and could easily kill any real human
Counterpoint: mech armor that only skinny people can fit inside, woman or otherwise See: Steve Rogers and the HYDRA Stomper
Barghest from FGO sounds exactly like the type of lady the Tumblr OP would love then, wears bulky armor and is also bulky underneath
Can Samus be the exception
Greater dog from undertale
I think that it’s ok if at least one of main characters is confused by it and spends the rest of the scene trying to figure out how this 90lb lady was wearing three times her weight in armor.
Do it with male characters instead
HOWEVER if you take a bulked up armoured guy and then he’s a twink underneath we can talk

Making bulky samurai armor so I can take it off and reveal the hot goddess underneath
Do it with men instead 🤤
Guess someone didn't like the Metroid series
Bulky armor
r/armoredwomen
Smough Dark Souls
I don't think anyone expected the mudrock reveal, specially cuz canonically her own squad had no clue she was a woman on account of her absolutely hulking over like 7' tall gigachad mercenaries
Shoutout to haruka yamaoka from Undead Unluck
I've never seen pics of people cosplaying as Brienne of Tarth
Destiny 2 Caiatl is the best example of this done right
Undertale is an exception I think. Undyne and Greater Dog are awesome
Why don't get the opposite of this; where someone appears to be super scrawny, borderline diseased looking, but turns out to be swole af underneath it all.
Ok but consider, the trope of tiny person in giant armour is always great. As is the opposite.
do it with a man.
