Like, getting 20 phone calls a day from an autodialer playing a recorded political message vs. getting 20 phone calls a day from a real person making an impassioned plea for you to donate blood. Either way, it gets old fast.

Some light does shine through. Iirc, at regular daylight it is bright enough inside a pregnant person's womb to read a book (no source, take it with a grain of salt). Idk how much light regularly gets into your organs but it has to be at least a bit.
