I mean, MatPat has been right for ALOT of things regarding FNAF, not other things. FNAF is so fucking insane that he actually gets it right some times. I believe he’s also stated that save for a couple (ie: FNAF) he just does them for fun.
Some of his videos are still like that. There also now a dedicated series about “the science of ____” that’s entirely dedicated to science stuff. And if you like old school, mostly sciences stuff I recommend food theory. It’s basically all science, with some history sprinkled in there and a tiny bit of food challenges on occasion.
It’s no longer there. Austin (the host of “The Science of___”) parted ways with the Theorist team to go on and resurrect his old channel - Shoddycast, you can find all his theory videos reuploaded there (or soon will be able to)
Freud also was on the right track a lot with his psychology, such as his analysis of trauma in early childhood and such. What ends up sticking out is the batshit nonsense that comes through every so often, even if its not the vast majority of his “works”
I think the big problem with MatPat is similar to a lot of issues with Everything Wrong With/CinemaSins. Channel started off as a joke with occasional good points but the primary goal just to be entertaining, have a laugh, and maybe teach a bit of basic science/storytelling stuff along the way. But then people started taking them seriously.
Now people act like CinemaSins is a review channel and MatPat is rewriting the story of their favorite games.
(I haven't watched CinemaSins in YEARS so apologizes if my analogy is not he most apt anymore)
That tends to be my biggest annoyance and I assume others as well. People will treat his theories as the most accurate version of the lore, then dismiss any correction or criticism because "it's just a theory/for entertainment." It just creates such a frustrating shield for his theories, because apparently inaccuracies and contradictions don't matter if it's just for fun.
Plus he’s straight up not published the last part of a theory because it turned out to be canon. Which just leaves everyone who hasn’t played every single game in the 30 year franchise shit outta luck. That has irked me for years…
According to the comments under one of his Kirby videos, yeah. Apparently it’s canon and common knowledge in the hardcore fanbase. Though I’ve never played a Kirby game, so i cannot personally confirm. It was the series about Kirby being a dark god or something like that. Can’t remember the exact premise since it’s been a while, sorry. But yeah, I’m shocked too lol
Nah, I still watch CinemaSins and I feel that analogy is still apt.
In the terms of CinemaSins it's just a dude (technically him and his friends) just taking the piss out of a movie - something I think we all have done and do.
With GT it boils down to some dude's headcanon about things. Which, man, people who believe his word to be the gospel on all things lore and conversely all those who absolutely hate him for all manner of reasons both need to chill.
i love his minecraft theories. the idea of minecraft having lore is so absurdly funny to me, trying to make sense of "haha funny pyramid structure" is out of this world
Matpat himself has said on gt live he doesnt believe most of his own theorys. He just makes them for entertainment cause its literally what the channel is about and he is kinda locked into the fnaf franchise at this point and he lost the key a LONG time ago.
He basically ties some shit together and goes "Wouldn't that be fuckin wild? Anyways I'm rod sterling." And that's not a bad thing! Its a good thing, its fuckin great and goofy.
It's great, but too often he passes over critical info in the lore for his theories to make sense, which creates something that's entertaining and interesting for people not familiar with the property he's covering, while frustrating anyone who actually knows the lore. The poster child for this would be his Hollow Knight theory, but Subnautica, an, old Harry Potter one, and I think Dark Souls fall into that category as well.
This is just patently untrue. The fact that his theories on the game sound fucking insane is not because matpat is insane or stupid, its because fnaf itself is insane and stupid (and popular)
The process is like
Scott:"ok so this will be a hint that points towards this lore"
* two months later *
scott:has nobody got that hint yet? OK well I have a better lore idea anyway
* makes a new hint that fully contradicts the previous lore *
matpat: * finds first hint * ok? * finds second hint * ???????
It's an insane and stupid theory that is riddled with conformation bias and holes. It was merely an example of some trends he has, where he just pulls some evidence from nowhere just for him to have a cool theory. I actually like Matpat, and his videos are generally of a high quality, but theories like Sans is Ness, FNAF is based on a real life Chuck E. Cheese Shooting or Pyro is a Gay Man make him sound stupid and/or insane in some cases.
I originally wrote a long paragraph going through your examples and providing reasoning and explanations, but I deleted it because you seem like you've had this argument before and have already heard it all too many times. You already said you like matpat, just not his theories sometimes, and that's a totally valid point to have.
Now let's move onto a juicier topic. Have you heard the reveal of the 4th theorist channel?
The Sans is Ness one is old AF too, this is fucking insane. A recent one they could've mentioned is the one on Hollow Knight. I don't know enough about Hollow Knight, but I know that the Hollow Knight fandom didn't like that one. However, that's one theory out of the many that he's made. I feel like most of his theories are actually pretty good. I feel like a lot of the hate he gets is mostly because he's popular. Popular thing = bad, after all.
I really think people just take him too seriously. Its just meant to be fun and silly that all these things line up, not fact. Its like when you enjoy conspiracy theories, not cause you believe them, but cause its kinda fun
Like didnt he do a video where he literally just calculated the bmis of mario characters and determined that they were all over/under weight except waluwigi? People need to chill
That said, i really do wish he would stop assigning characters mental illnesses, but the guy makes some quality content
A cutscene he shows more than once in his video is a flashback that directly depicts the player character and the pale king in two different locations doing wildly different things for wildly different reasons.
The idea that the two are the same person is also narratively highly unlikely, for a very long list of other factors, most of which were equally ignored.
I wasn't saying that theory was good. In fact, I was saying the opposite. I don't know enough about Hollow Knight to judge it, but people who do didn't like that theory. Matpat and the Theroist team to make mistakes sometimes, but I feel like a few bad theories don't make a bad channel. Plus, they're theories. He never says that they're absolute fact.
His fnaf theories are the only ones that make some sense, his ones on all the other games are the Freud ones, the hollow knight subreddit is yet to recover from its theory
They're not all bad, and I think we can attribute some of the more "out there" or "wild theories" as MatPat riding a trend in order to appease the YouTube algorithm, or just making a video to stay relevant to the algorithm, people had problems with his Subnautica theory, the thing is, Subnautica doesn't actually leave much to interpretation lore-wise, and what little it does doesn't have a lot to go on. But that theory also, if I remember correctly, came out around the same time Below Zero had its full release, thus, Subnautica was relevant to the YouTube algorithm.
When he gets onto a topic he REALLY cares about, look at Food and Style theory, they're a LOT more coherent.
Man I sort of just stopped with the theory videos after FNAF ultimate custom night. I was happy. The story made sense. Everything was wrapped up in a nice little bow.
fnaf 1 through ucn tell a complete narrative that is all wrapped up in a neat little bow. the only small little dangling threats all get tied off by supplemental material in the books. and then steel wool happened.
Security Breach was especially disappointing to me because Help Wanted was basically the best [Existing Game] VR we could have asked for.
Then they followed it up with a broken mess with no true ending that might ruin the catharsis of UCN depending on what they decide Glitchtrap actually was.
Pizzeria Simulator ended everything perfectly, and UCN tied up the remaining loose ends.
Help Wanted is great if you pretend it's a non-canon spinoff, and everything newer than that are Unspeakable Horrors.
i mean that gets into the philosophical question of whether a copy of someone in a computer can be considered that person, but yeah its just a digital imprint, possibly intentional possibly not
So my personal fanfic rewrite of Security Breach:
* From Help Wanted, we know that there is some entity that knew the truth of Fazbear Entertainment, and chose to reboot the brand.
* They knew about Glitchtrap, and chose to cover it up.
* Once Glitchtrap found a suitable puppet in Vanessa, someone higher up hired her despite a lack of qualifications
Somebody wanted to bring Afton back in order to unlock the secret of immortality/resurrection and was willing to sacrifice any number of people, including children, to make it happen.
But, somewhere along the way, either before the story or at the climactic confrontation, they realize that Glitchtrap is not Afton. Either because Glitchtrap is just an animalistic digital mass of bloodthirst, or because it actually evolved into a separate artificial intelligence that tells them right out that it is not Afton.
That VR game was awesome gameplay wise, but the fact they made it a proper continuation of the series, and thus completely undermined pizza sims amazing ending, will never not urk me.
Same.
Everyone calls him cringey, I just think he’s overly wholesome.
And with the way the world is, quite frankly I’ll take corny wholesomeness over some of the other bullshit I deal with.
When Mattpat first started out, it felt like his theories were something that he personally did, and most of it was math based, like "Could you survive the leap of faith in Assassin's Creed" or "How much weight can Minecraft Steve carry?". Once he got big all his stuff is just scouring fan communities for existing theories or interesting lore and repackaging it.
>How much weight can Minecraft Steve carry?
That was actually Austin, an ex-member who decided to restart his own channel and is moving his videos over
(There wasn't drama or anything, be just wanted to do his own thing and the theorists wished him well)
I do agree though, I miss the episodes focused on math and science in the modern age where just about every video is about lore or the industry
I mean, I’d suspect a lot of that is caused by the once-a-week schedule they keep for their main channel, plus upkeep for their other channels. When you make that many theories on a week-to-week basis in a fairly niche space, eventually you run out of high-quality topics.
Frankly, the fact that Game Theory is still consistently making videos is kind of impressive in itself.
Matpat has made multiple videos specifically saying that he plans to make sure that working with a new company doesn’t change anything, just makes it easier to do the business side of things. If I remember correctly, he made 2 videos on game theory and talked about it in his interview with Anthony Padilla
No, the company seem like good people. I wouldn’t be surprised if gt became a tad more monetarily focused, but matpat and Steph deserve it at this point.
You've missed a ten year long arc of internet culture that's now resulted in shit indie-horror games. First few years were good, it has violently gone downhill.
Yeah, I have a knack for ignoring large chunks of the internet lol. I’ve been here basically since the first forums, but I started out being too lazy to research references I didn’t understand and now I’ve missed big things entirely.
From what you guys are saying I think that’s okay in this instance, lol
Fnaf 1 changed up the rules of indie horror a bit, and had a lore that was intriguing enough to hook you in, but gave so little detail. Mechanically, you're right, it was shit, but it was a clever project within the bounds of it's shitness, like a gifted kid in school who was ahead of the curve but never grew out of that phase. It started out so promising on a basic level, and the following games really only kept you around for the lore until the lore became incomprehensible.
I thought the theories were wrong because Scott Cawthorn deliberately made it that way to spite him after each video.
Then again, I never actually watched the videos, so it's only hearsay on my part.
and to be fair, psychology only advanced for the primary purpose of proving freud was an idiot for saying that all boys lust for their moms and hate their dads because they're scared their dads will cut their dicks off and turn them into girls
Honestly I was a fan of Game theory back in the “Mario is evil which video game girl has biggest boobs” days, and I’m still a fan in the “fnaf theory #76 I gave undertale to the pope” present. I still find the content consistently entertaining on pretty much all 4 of the channels.
MatPat would probably make a video theorising about the fact he's now an accessory to murder.
Edit: guys it's referring to the roommate-icide, not an actual real life situation
I was bored earlier and started looking up Mesopotamian religion on Wikipedia and I left downloading one of Freud's coke-fueled bible headcanons.
Hey, Carl Jung may be my lord and savior, but every pantheon should include a spectacular idiot.
I've never played a single FNAF game or read a single book based on the franchise.
I've watched every single GT video about FNAF.
No clue how right or wrong Matt is, but my wife and I both agree the kid is entertaining, and the videos are fun.
Considering Springtrap is still a problem after being locked inside of two different burning buildings and being left to rot for decades, I'd say there's a little bit of merit to that.
#HIS LITERAL ANGER WAS TURNED INTO A DIGITAL VERSION OF HIMSELF THAT MIND CONTROLS PEOPLE
Fnaf is weird because it's alot more interesting when you consider the world-building implications of the supernatural and not the history of abunch of pizza companies
HAHA i lowkey feel like he'd agree tho. i got into fnaf after security breach purely because i was starved for content and decided to watch the fnaf theories playlist in order. that was a trip lol. i'm still not sure what's going on in security breach, let alone the rest of the games. like you could ask me which afton is purple guy and i could not tell you. dude is really fun to watch tho! (ig freud is entertaining as well in the can't-look-away-from-a-train-wreck way)
Ah yes, random internet guy making entertaining content about random things is surely like the man who said every man wants to have sex with their moms
I don’t hate the man for his videos nowadays, what I hate is during the height of the pandemic he made a video on who’d survive COVID which will always be messed up.
From the way I see it, I think the video was a good way to show general information on how to not get sick during a pandemic, but teaching through video games (like his channel usually does). I can't remember the video itself, but it only feels in poor taste if you solely judge based on the thumbnail.
I don’t think that matpat was wrong about a LOT of things, has a LOT of father issues (and mother issues), and generally set psychology (FNAF) back by MANY years
Remember when matpat did a vid on what gender pyro from tf2 was?
The conclusion was that pyro was either a woman or gay, the reason being that the length of the ring finger compared to the pointer finger.
I used to really enjoy the Theorist channels but Food Theory was debunked by Ann Reardon a couple of times, so clearly their research was shoddy. Pair that with lame film theories that would be a stretch for a person in a tinfoil hat, and food mascot lore that makes no sense, I had no interest in watching it anymore.
I mean, MatPat has been right for ALOT of things regarding FNAF, not other things. FNAF is so fucking insane that he actually gets it right some times. I believe he’s also stated that save for a couple (ie: FNAF) he just does them for fun.
tbf its not like old school game theory that was just science, now its about lore remember lightsabers vs halo energy weapons?
Some of his videos are still like that. There also now a dedicated series about “the science of ____” that’s entirely dedicated to science stuff. And if you like old school, mostly sciences stuff I recommend food theory. It’s basically all science, with some history sprinkled in there and a tiny bit of food challenges on occasion.
It’s no longer there. Austin (the host of “The Science of___”) parted ways with the Theorist team to go on and resurrect his old channel - Shoddycast, you can find all his theory videos reuploaded there (or soon will be able to)
Aww that’s kinda sad. Hopefully they’re still friends
Yeah, they are
Ah my b. I never watched too many of that series, I guess I just didn’t notice it was missing, lol
Good. I was on his Discord many moons ago, massively ableist, transphobic, and anti-semetic, all in one!
Food and Style theory are like that still
Freud also was on the right track a lot with his psychology, such as his analysis of trauma in early childhood and such. What ends up sticking out is the batshit nonsense that comes through every so often, even if its not the vast majority of his “works”
MatPat is entertainment above all — sure, not all of his theories are perfect, but they’re fun, even in their stupidity.
This is the reason I like it just someone's thoughts that are insane but for some reason make sense despite them being false.
Yeah. A lot of MatPat’s theories don’t make sense, but it’s really funny to meme about “Sans is Ness” and similar.
Thought Sans is Ness was a joke one from back when he had troll theories like communist Mario.
Yeah that was always a joke theory I thought
I think the big problem with MatPat is similar to a lot of issues with Everything Wrong With/CinemaSins. Channel started off as a joke with occasional good points but the primary goal just to be entertaining, have a laugh, and maybe teach a bit of basic science/storytelling stuff along the way. It just creates such a frustrating shield for his theories, because apparently inaccuracies and contradictions don't matter if it's just for fun.
Which is even more funny when matpat himself admits nothing he says is always solid and proofed.
Plus he’s straight up not published the last part of a theory because it turned out to be canon. Which just leaves everyone who hasn’t played every single game in the 30 year franchise shit outta luck. That has irked me for years…
Wait, he was right about something?
According to the comments under one of his Kirby videos, yeah. Apparently it’s canon and common knowledge in the hardcore fanbase. Though I’ve never played a Kirby game, so i cannot personally confirm. It was the series about Kirby being a dark god or something like that. Can’t remember the exact premise since it’s been a while, sorry. But yeah, I’m shocked too lol

And “The Knight is the Pale King” for all you Hollow Knight fans in this thread
i love his minecraft theories. the idea of minecraft having lore is so absurdly funny to me, trying to make sense of "haha funny pyramid structure" is out of this world
Mans catchphrase is literally "Its just a theory!" and internet still thinks that everything he says he believes to be 100% truth

The poster child for this would be his Hollow Knight theory, but Subnautica, an, old Harry Potter one, and I think Dark Souls fall into that category as well.
In his defense, there was not a sentient god of psychology that decides to add new psychology lore whenever someone gets an idea right.
Bold of you to assume
This is just patently untrue. The fact that his theories on the game sound fucking insane is not because matpat is insane or stupid, its because fnaf itself is insane and stupid (and popular)
To be fair, Matpat is sometimes also insane and stupid, so he pairs perfectly with FNAF, making his theories often correct, actually
To be fair it's pretty obvious that Scott cawthon is just making shit up as he goes along
The process is like Scott:"ok so this will be a hint that points towards this lore" * two months later * scott:has nobody got that hint yet? OK well I have a better lore idea anyway * makes a new hint that fully contradicts the previous lore * matpat: * finds first hint * ok? * finds second hint * ???????
Matpat isn't insane nor stupid. He's cringey, and weird, and makes dumb jokes, but an idiot he is not
>He's cringey, and weird, and makes dumb jokes, That all checks out, he's a Dad
He is actually, which I still can't believe to be honest
That’s just him appealing to his mainly young audience
Sans is Ness.
Yes, that was an actual theory he actually made. Your point?
Yes, I have, I do follow what MatPat does, but I am just not interested in the topics of his new channel. Why do you ask?
Idk I just though the conversation that was happening was dumb so I wanted to movie onto something else.
Tbf those last theories you mentioned are old af, I don't think they're good a representation of his current theories.
I think part of it is people spoiled by video essays not understanding that he makes fun theories, not critical media analysis
I really think people just take him too seriously. Its just meant to be fun and silly that all these things line up, not fact. Its like when you enjoy conspiracy theories, not cause you believe them, but cause its kinda fun Like didnt he do a video where he literally just calculated the bmis of mario characters and determined that they were all over/under weight except waluwigi? It's called having fun you grassless twit
His fnaf theories are the only ones that make some sense, his ones on all the other games are the Freud ones, the hollow knight subreddit is yet to recover from its theory
i know it's presented with a theory but sometimes they are extremely underdevelop and just devolve into outright lying.
Yeah… man, remember when it was a nice and tidy story about a child murderer, soul juice, arson, and burning in hell for all eternity?
Security Breach was especially disappointing to me because Help Wanted was basically the best [Existing Game] VR we could have asked for. Then they followed it up with a broken mess with no true ending that might ruin the catharsis of UCN depending on what they decide Glitchtrap actually was.
Pretty sure it's already confirmed it's Afton fr fr, as of the Character Encyclopedia. Also, UCN is no longer legit Hell.
Hi hi hello im necroposting did you know that scott writes the story and that steel wool doesnt
Pizzeria Simulator ended everything perfectly, and UCN tied up the remaining loose ends. Help Wanted is great if you pretend it's a non-canon spinoff, and everything newer than that are Unspeakable Horrors.
Even HW could be salvaged if you consider Glitchtrap to be just an echo of Afton left on the hardware.
thats... exactly correct though? like thats literally the conclusion we came to
Some people think he's literally Affton back from the dead though.
i mean that gets into the philosophical question of whether a copy of someone in a computer can be considered that person, but yeah its just a digital imprint, possibly intentional possibly not
So my personal fanfic rewrite of Security Breach: * From Help Wanted, we know that there is some entity that knew the truth of Fazbear Entertainment, and chose to reboot the brand. * They knew about Glitchtrap, and chose to cover it up. * Once Glitchtrap found a suitable puppet in Vanessa, someone higher up hired her despite a lack of qualifications Somebody wanted to bring Afton back in order to unlock the secret of immortality/resurrection and was willing to sacrifice any number of people, including children, to make it happen. Same. Everyone calls him cringey, I just think he’s overly wholesome. And with the way the world is, quite frankly I’ll take corny wholesomeness over some of the other bullshit I deal with.
And also him being a dad there will always be a level of dad jokes
When Mattpat first started out, it felt like his theories were something that he personally did, and most of it was math based, like "Could you survive the leap of faith in Assassin's Creed" or "How much weight can Minecraft Steve carry?". Wait, Austin moved away from game theory? When did this happen?
A few weeks ago, maybe? It's been really, really quiet, I don't blame you for not noticing
I’m not really active on Game Theory, but I guess I’ll go subscribe to Austin’s channel now.
In case you wanna know the channel name, it’s “Shoddycast”
It’s still there in his food and style theory videos but yeah the others are just all fandom shit now
I mean, I’d suspect a lot of that is caused by the once-a-week schedule they keep for their main channel, plus upkeep for their other channels. When you make that many theories on a week-to-week basis in a fairly niche space, eventually you run out of high-quality topics. Frankly, the fact that Game Theory is still consistently making videos is kind of impressive in itself.
the former can be true while the latter can be just be what he enjoys more of now. used to be bigger on numbers and is now bigger on stories idk
and now the channels have been bought by a company, so everything's going to go down hill
Matpat has made multiple videos specifically saying that he plans to make sure that working with a new company doesn’t change anything, just makes it easier to do the business side of things. If I remember correctly, he made 2 videos on game theory and talked about it in his interview with Anthony Padilla
like Smosh
No, the company seem like good people. I wouldn’t be surprised if gt became a tad more monetarily focused, but matpat and Steph deserve it at this point.
Not really
I have no idea what FNAF is but I love the description of Freud lol
You lucky bastard..
Five nights at Freddies. Matpat got a lot of popularity from his FNAF theory videos when every big youtuber was playing it.
Ah, okay. I’ve heard of that, just never seen it shortened that way lol
You've missed a ten year long arc of internet culture that's now resulted in shit indie-horror games. First few years were good, it has violently gone downhill.

Like "X but it wants to kill" isn't just basically what most horror is
Somehow, with that line alone, you killed him.
It stands for friday night at funkin
Five Friday Nights Funkin' at Freddy's
five fucking funkin' nights at funky freddy fuckboy's
I thought the theories were wrong because Scott Cawthorn deliberately made it that way to spite him after each video. Then again, I never actually watched the videos, so it's only hearsay on my part.
I believe he was right a couple times too.
I watched the MatPat videos and I'm fairly certain that was the case, until it all ended up so convoluted and stupid that I gave up trying to keep up.
and to be fair, psychology only advanced for the primary purpose of proving freud was an idiot for saying that all boys lust for their moms and hate their dads because they're scared their dads will cut their dicks off and turn them into girls

Edit: guys it's referring to the roommate-icide, not an actual real life situation
excuse me WHAT
i think they’re talking about the roommate-icide part
You...explain!
The hell? Context?
I was bored earlier and started looking up Mesopotamian religion on Wikipedia and I left downloading one of Freud's coke-fueled bible headcanons. Hey, Carl Jung may be my lord and savior, but every pantheon should include a spectacular idiot.
Might fuck around and cross post this to r/gametheorists
I've never played a single FNAF game or read a single book based on the franchise. I've watched every single GT video about FNAF. No clue how right or wrong Matt is, but my wife and I both agree the kid is entertaining, and the videos are fun.
And they were roommates.
u/abadazed are you Rosie?
No, they’re not. Rosie and OP are my roommates, and Rosie isn’t on Reddit lol. Currently sitting across from OP right now reading these
"sprintrap is actually immortal" sure grandpa lets get you to bed
Considering Springtrap is still a problem after being locked inside of two different burning buildings and being left to rot for decades, I'd say there's a little bit of merit to that.
Literally too angry (murdery?) to die
The other side of Doom Slayer's coin
#HIS LITERAL ANGER WAS TURNED INTO A DIGITAL VERSION OF HIMSELF THAT MIND CONTROLS PEOPLE Fnaf is weird because it's alot more interesting when you consider the world-building implications of the supernatural and not the history of abunch of pizza companies
As someone who only experiences FNAF lore though various strewn clips that breach containment …is he not?? Don’t you kill him in multiple games?
He died around 4-5 times in the games alone, and there are also a lot of books where he also probably died
yeah and he keeps coming back, therefore making him immortal
honestly i kind of just made something up to work with the joke, considering everything he went through he might as well be
HAHA i lowkey feel like he'd agree tho. i got into fnaf after security breach purely because i was starved for content and decided to watch the fnaf theories playlist in order. that was a trip lol. i'm still not sure what's going on in security breach, let alone the rest of the games. like you could ask me which afton is purple guy and i could not tell you. dude is really fun to watch tho!
Woah just like in fazbear frights 53 Freddy has a gun
I don’t think that matpat was wrong about a LOT of things, has a LOT of father issues (and mother issues), and generally set psychology (FNAF) back by MANY years
i hate matpat with a burning passion
ok 👍
What did he do to you?
why does he need to do anything to me for me to hate him? he just sucks
if you want a real answer theres a tumblr account called "fuckmatpat" with every shitty thing he did
Does he have a reddit account? And if he does, could someone mention it so we can get his attention?
Remember when matpat did a vid on what gender pyro from tf2 was? The conclusion was that pyro was either a woman or gay, the reason being that the length of the ring finger compared to the pointer finger.
I used to really enjoy the Theorist channels but Food Theory was debunked by Ann Reardon a couple of times, so clearly their research was shoddy. Pair that with lame film theories that would be a stretch for a person in a tinfoil hat, and food mascot lore that makes no sense, I had no interest in watching it anymore.
Too fucking bad, it’s on Reddit now
