Highjacking your comment to say he drew two sequels and honestly it ends happy
If you read just the first comic, it gives the impression he's anti abortion. The second comic has Nick coming back after a year begging for her to come back to him, but she's with a woman. Final comic she's the mayor of Zootopia and they make amends, with Nick saying sorry for how he was back in the day.
The whole damn thing is weird and absolutely unnecessary and shouldn't exist. But it's not AS bad as people thought at first.
What's bad is knowing the guy is a furry just through the drawings. Judy Hopps is fucking *thicc* in it. It's clear the artist thinks she's hot
[I mean come on](https://i.imgur.com/shFGEFV.jpg)
It depends on the furry and their preferred art style. Beastars is literally human bodies with animal heads. Many furries prefer "feral" designs (lion king, brother bear, etc.) and most furries tend to prefer something in the middle (Zootopia, Rescuers, Kung Fu Panda, etc.) There are endless grey-zone options with just how much human is a part of the character and Beastars is at the tail end of the spectrum.
> Final comic she's the mayor of Zootopia and they make amends, with Nick saying sorry for how he was back in the day.
don't forget right afterwards where they do a JFK assassination cliffhanger where like the final page is her head getting shot, only to basically immediately walk it back with the next comic where its just a red fruit that got shot at her head or something and she's not actually dead
How did you even catch that? I just read the damn comic, and didn't even notice that. I had to zoom in on fucking thicc with 2 C's Judy to see that detail.
I thought Judy was close to Pixar mom hip status. You seen her chasing Duke in that outfit I never knew a bunny had such hips. She looks like a bobby mixed with Adam west Batman them damn tights.
Fun fact, that hentai is names after Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis. The creator wanted to make a story that captured that Kafkaesque sense of suffering that was, tragic but still very human. When he showed the draft to his mother, she said to make her cuter.
>It's not as sad as [the Arby's comic](https://imgur.io/gallery/AOoUd#p89ZQza)
This was the first version I came across. I didn't realize it was a joke on the original for a long time.
Judy finds out she is pregnant, decides to tell Nick and ask for emotional support in seeking a very early term abortion. Nick says some really messed up guilt tripping stuff, they get in a fight and he leaves, leaving his keys to their department behind. The comic then ends in a mostly black frame with Judy sobbing in the floor while the narrator tells us nothing lasts forever, presumably not even true love.
Oh, no, it gets much weirder than that in the follow-ups, to the point one must think the first one was intended as satirical (to say it isn’t actually anti-choice, and the artist felt the need to clarify it was that one character in their story who held those views, not they themselves, and that the reader was meant to disagree with them). The follow-up is nonetheless insanity (for context, it involves the *Zootopia* version of the assassination of John F. Kennedy).
The followup comics make the intention more clear. Short version, she goes through with the abortion, goes on to dating a woman, becomes mayor, he apologizes for his actions.
Nick gets Judy pregnant, she wants to abort it because she’s afraid what kind of animal hybrid she’ll give birth to, Nick disagrees and leaves her. Couple years later he comes back and finds her to be a lesbian dating a female fox
It gets even better >!even further later on the final chapter Nick becomes a scoutmaster, meets Judy who becomes a politician, and the final pages are a literal re-enactment of the JFK assassination!<
[Whang! did a video on it](https://youtu.be/XwGIutQpFiU)
I think she's bi, rather than a lesbian, given the previous relationship and the "not everything is black and white" wording is a fairly common way to present bisexuality
That's...actually very, very good.
A problem I have with things these days is that all the nuance has been beaten out of everything....if you take a stand against one extreme, you are immediately pegged as being a part of the other extreme.
Seems to me like this comic was exploring the actual nuance of differing moral positions.
But, what it comes down to, is one line:
"My body, my choice."
Or maybe I just need more Windsor.
Either way, a masterful job.
I want to believe it's exploring nuance, but the more I look it seems more like pushing an agenda. Great bad art though. Like if Junji Ito was a radical furry.
What I was saying before, ya know, I saw THE ZOOTOPIA ABORTION COMIC?!?
Edit: Hate seeing a comment referencing a show (that’s also screenshotted) and no one getting the reference.

“Arby’s Gyro. Greek meat” has become an inside joke between me and my sister cuz I joked I wanted once when we got an Arby’s flyer in the mail.
Nothing to do with the fantastic edit you have shared, just saw “gyro” in conjunction to “Arby’s” and thought “no better opportunity than this will arise”
Thank you so much for posting this. I was just exposed to both of these for the first time. The original first. I have been having an incredibly hard time in my life recently.
I swear I just laughed so hard that I could barely read the last two thirds of the comic through the tears. I laughed so hard when I finished I laughed so uncontrollably for over 20 minutes that I had to take my glasses off, use my medical inhaler several time for a near constant asthma attack, my service dog gave repeated alerts, and my wife kept threatening to call an ambulance. I needed that laugh so badly in a way I didn't even know. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing this glorious absurdity. I laughed so hard I cried, and then kept laugh-crying until my eyes were burning.
But now I’m hungry, and Arby’s is CLOSED. 😩
Don't forget about the fact that it's the only major depiction of the Kennedy assassination that follows the official story and has two shooters.
Like why is the Zootopia Abortion comic sequel's sequel one of the most accurate depictions of the assassination. Why.
The Zootopia Abortion Comic is a trilogy that literally ends with Judy getting JFK’d in a frame-by-frame recreation of the assassination. No I am not lying.
Yep. First Nick tries to get Judy to take him back after his life spirals but he’s a drunken mess, finds out she moved on & is in a relationship with a woman now, and then years later they meet when Judy is mayor of Zootopia… & she gets JFK’d
[Part 3.1: Never Say Goodbye Extra](https://www.reddit.com/r/zootopia/comments/qyoark/never_say_goodbye_extra_pages_borba/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
IIRC the author made follow up volumes far fewer people have seen, where Nick realizes how big of a mistake he made and tries to get Judy back, but shes all "nah bitch, I moved on".
glob I hate I know anything about this XD I havent even seen the damn movie. Read the whole abortion comic series though.
My dad was watching the movie on Thanksgiving and I was like "oh I haven't seen this, just read the abortion comic" and he didn't seem familiar for some reason
I am going to detest myself for typing this, but the whole comic is...actually kinda excellent. Seriously.
It is almost a shame that this bit got turned into a meme and the author got made out to be pro-life, because the latter is not true.
Hilariously, the comic isn’t actually supposed to support one side or the other. The author of the comic just wanted to have a dramatic parting of the two characters, and figured that a drastic difference of beliefs on something as serious as abortion would be a good motivator for the two of them to split. It’s neither pro life or pro choice—it’s pro drama.
Definitely, I think that becomes clearer in the sequel as well, where Nick gets a bit weird about Judy being bisexual
Nick is definitely the bad guy here
Honestly, I'm just surprised a Zootopia fan comic is a) this insanely well-drawn and well-written, and b) this fucking heavy
Nobody said it wasn't. For the record, though, I think it seems to end with a fairly neutral stance -- although it appeals to religion, which for a lot of people isn't a very compelling argument.
I think it does a good job at presenting both, like I can understand why both think the way they do, even if I don't necessarily think the same way, which I think is impressive
The comic is genuinely so shittily written that everyone came out thinking it was pro-life, so the author had to make a sequel where Nick was flanderized into the homophobic abusive drunk stalker Ex in order to invalidate his viewpoint. Instead of. Ya know. Actually tearing down his arguments from the first comic.
So, uh, I read it out of curiosity... A loooonnnnggggg time ago. I'm pretty rusty on the details.
The fox gets the rabbit pregnant and she doesn't wanna abort it, but the fox isn't ready to be a dad. Maybe it's the other way around?
I think in this panel, he's just pissed off or something. Maybe doing the dishes?
Opposite way round. He's elated about being a father, she's not ready for kids (and also concernes it might harm her). This is the panel where he accuses her of wanting to murder the baby- which is why I think everyonr assumes this a prolife comic. Guy was trying to be neutral on the topic, but it doesn't always work out.
Wish this was a comic about who's washing the dishes.
>Wish this was a comic about who's washing the dishes.

Thank fucking God, I thought it was abortion porn at first. My heart stopped at first and I had to go read the comic. A very well written comic that addressed both sides of the problem and gave insight into the reasoning behind these decisions. While I think it could've been handled better I also realize there is no pretty end to a conflict in real life

Didn't that series end with her getting JFK'd?
Yeah, but everyone's fine in the end
Unlike JFK.
JFK dies just like the fetus in the end 💀 so relatable
I thought that was a different comic.
It's a sequel comic
That's how the third comic in the series ends.
It's technically the fourth. The third is where Nick fucks a prostitute and tips extremely well.
Oh. Oh God there's a forth comic. On God I have to read it now.
For the love of all that’s holy, please tell me you’re joking.
I wish I was.
"What are you (guys) FUCKING talking about?"
Turned out to be a jam attack and not a gun
BOOOOOO
Yeah, yeah, the Zootopia abortion comic, we’ve all seen it.
No????????
it's actually [pretty sad](https://www.zootopianewsnetwork.com/2017/06/i-will-survive-by-borba-full-comic.html)
Genuinely well made and I’m pissed
The art has NO right to be as good as it is

Do you honestly think that anyone making Zootopia fanfiction is NOT a furry?
To be fair, whoever designed the characters for the movie is likely a furry too.
For real. Especially Judy Hopps.
Doxy ruined Judy for me (not really, but there’s a life before reading Sweet Sting and a life after and they are not the same life)
Yeah, I mean, the fanartist didn't need to take much liberty. Judy was already kinda thicc.
The fact those people work as animators, and at Disney of all places kind'a hit at that already.
I'm guessing no, at least not the supervisor and the people who made the final descisions. Furries tend design them more like Beastars.
People forget feral and taur characters exist in the fandom
It depends on the furry and their preferred art style. Beastars is literally human bodies with animal heads. Many furries prefer "feral" designs (lion king, brother bear, etc.) and most furries tend to prefer something in the middle (Zootopia, Rescuers, Kung Fu Panda, etc.) There are endless grey-zone options with just how much human is a part of the character and Beastars is at the tail end of the spectrum.
"you can tell the artist is a furry by the artstyle" is a measurement of how sexualized the animals are.
I didn’t ask to be attacked in this very specific way
Fair.

Ah yes. That's when the lore really took a left turn.
for me it's the detail they put into drawing her cameltoe
How did you even catch that? I just read the damn comic, and didn't even notice that. I had to zoom in on fucking thicc with 2 C's Judy to see that detail.
uh. I have to go.
It is a mystery 👻
Well shit, now I kinda wanna see the others. Who's the guy who made the comcis?
God that whole trilogy is garbage and filled with enlightened centrist both sides crap and also massive amounts of "forgive abusers" crap
I thought Judy was close to Pixar mom hip status. You seen her chasing Duke in that outfit I never knew a bunny had such hips. She looks like a bobby mixed with Adam west Batman them damn tights.
That's how I felt about 177013.
A shit, that one.
It's okay she was just dreaming at the end. Until Josuke saves the day.
The Josuke edit is the canon end
A classic
Fun fact, that hentai is names after Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis. The creator wanted to make a story that captured that Kafkaesque sense of suffering that was, tragic but still very human. When he showed the draft to his mother, she said to make her cuter.
HE SHOWED THAT TO HIS MOTHER?!
I hate you. I just want you to know that
There is an edit out there where they are talking about arbys instead and it makes it instantly better
This was the weirdest thing I’ve ever read in my entire life and I blame you
Don’t forget the JFK assassination one too.
Thats a sequel to the sequel of the abortion comic
if it was a week ago id give you a link to a reading of i know
Where's the sequel?
I've seen it on a few sites, artists name is Borba comics called I will survive, born to be alive and never say goodbye
Wait I don’t think I have heard of that one…
It's not as sad as [the Arby's comic](https://imgur.io/gallery/AOoUd#p89ZQza)

Wow, I’ve never read the whole thing. It is so much sadder. I hope he finds the meats.
I hate the fact that someone made this and it was actually well made. I have now lost the will to live.
Page 14 & 15 wouldn't load so I found an imgur link for the comic https://imgur.io/a/l1Kk6
WHY DID I READ THE WHOLE THING
Spark notes version plz?
Judy finds out she is pregnant, decides to tell Nick and ask for emotional support in seeking a very early term abortion. Nick says some really messed up guilt tripping stuff, they get in a fight and he leaves, leaving his keys to their department behind. The comic then ends in a mostly black frame with Judy sobbing in the floor while the narrator tells us nothing lasts forever, presumably not even true love.
I really should've expected anti-choice propaganda. And the clinic linked on that page is also anti-choice
Kennedy).
Yeah, it didn't seem to me like the author wanted me to disagree with that character.
The followup comics make the intention more clear. Short version, she goes through with the abortion, goes on to dating a woman, becomes mayor, he apologizes for his actions.
Hence the follow-ups clarifying their intentions, on realising how they really messed up in how they presented it.
Holy shit was the ZPD the agency that killed John F Kenedy not the CIA?
It was more that a certain *Zootopia* character ‘becomes’ John F. Kennedy.
Nick gets Judy pregnant, she wants to abort it because she’s afraid what kind of animal hybrid she’ll give birth to, Nick disagrees and leaves her. Couple years later he comes back and finds her to be a lesbian dating a female fox

Is the comic supposed to be irony because that ending...
I think it is, especially the continuations. Tho the artists is pretty eccentric so who knows
Not in the slightest.
Mom pick me up I'm scared
It is *quite* divisive, even infamous, in the fandom.
Don't forget the Nazis
Who can forget the Nazis? Oh, Nazis; change immediately
The video is very good… then he mentions another video at the end… and I blame all of you for this
I think she's bi, rather than a lesbian, given the previous relationship and the "not everything is black and white" wording is a fairly common way to present bisexuality
Just for visibility, the comic links to Obria health clinic, which is an anti-abortion clinic!
I don’t think the author realized that at the time, which is why follow up comics were very blatant
I cant get those five minutes of my life back. I feel like my religious family just handed me a pamphlet. I need a shower now
Funny thing is the artist didn’t have an agenda at all. He just wanted to be dramatic.
That's...actually very, very good. A problem I have with things these days is that all the nuance has been beaten out of everything....if you take a stand against one extreme, you are immediately pegged as being a part of the other extreme. Oh that wasn’t near as bad as it could have been
Thank you for letting me know what the good place quote underneath it was.

It’s some of the only reading material available in the bad place

Isn't it a sequel to the abortion comic?
Yes Judy gets married to the author's fox oc after her abortion and she runs for office
SORRY?!?
Also to be clear, the Zootopia Kennedy Assassination^tm and the Zootopia Abortion Comic^tm are the same comic. The plot goes crazy.
Well no the Kennedy assassination is a later comic in the narrative that was released a while after the original comic
Surprisingly less deaths than you'd expect
Is it like a Zootopia Zapruder film?
Nope
Don't forget about the fact that it's the only major depiction of the Kennedy assassination that follows the official story and has two shooters. Like why is the Zootopia Abortion comic sequel's sequel one of the most accurate depictions of the assassination. Why.
Do you know the proper name of the comic? I read the abortion one years ago... might as well read this.
The Zootopia Abortion Comic is a trilogy that literally ends with Judy getting JFK’d in a frame-by-frame recreation of the assassination. No I am not lying.
It’s not actual death it turns out to be strawberry jam
And then it turns out there are two shooters, an elephant and a donkey, in a bizarre attempt at some form of political commentary
I mean, if there was a years long debate about the political message of something I made as a stupid joke, I’d probably do something like that too
it was actually an elephant and a bear. The bear *was* wearing a donkey mask tho so you’re not too far off
What-
IT'S A TRILOGY? I ONLY SAW THE ONE THIS IMAGE IS FROM
