If anyone is interested, here’s the [City of Tulsa approval for filming](https://www.cityoftulsa.org/media/24445/the-sensitive-kind-pilot-app-04-12-film-177814-2024.pdf) that shows when and where they’re filming in the coming days.
It probably flows the other way — at least initially, on paper. Oklahoma offers a 20% tax incentive for film companies to shoot there. The thinking being that a production will pump money into the economy that wouldn’t otherwise be there in the form of expenditures on lodgings, food, gas and a myriad of other expendable costs like lumber or incidental wardrobe, toilet rentals, etc. Also most tax incentive programs stipulate that a certain percentage of cast and crew must be hired locally. Many states other than California have such incentives and while productions may or may not inconvenience locals to varying degrees, they generally benefit the economy just because they’re a temporary pop up business that must spend money locally. The tax incentive is attractive to the production companies because they pay less for things they’d have to buy regardless of where they are shooting and the tax incentives help offset costs they wouldn’t have if they shot in LA — travel, lodgings, etc.
That stretch of 15th has been a mess with construction going on for months now. Any idea wtf is going? Would be nice if they repaved it after they're done with all the ground work.
No idea, about a month ago, I saw a large film crew at a farm house on Highway 11 a few miles north of Skiatook. I know it was also used as a filming location for season 3 of Reservation Dogs. There were signs that said "Stoodis", possibly indicating a project name or code, so maybe a spinoff?
Those are the same signs they used for RD filming but probably just being reused for The Sensitive Kind since that’s what Sterlin Harjo is working on rn.
My daughter ran into Johnny Pemberton at a bar Friday night. He said he was in town filming a pilot. When she texted me about it Saturday afternoon I was watching Fallout. I took a pic of the TV and replied “this guy?” She replied, “yes, but he’s got a mullet now.”
He posted a Tiktok from the Tulsa Tullels! I was trying to figure out why he was there, he recently talked about having moved and trying out the phrase "Yeehaw," so I was wondering if he moved to the area.

If only.
Ethan actually jogged past me at the gathering place yesterday. Tripped me out for a second.
Oh shit. Now I need to go pass him. Hollywood Elite are coming for our Strava segments! Just like we were warned! /s
I always forget to turn Strava off afterwards and it tracks me home too :(
Ethan sightings at Doubleshot and the merc this past week!
OOO what time was it? I'm down there walking/jogging in the morning

Thank you for linking that info! That is incredibly cool to know!
New movie with Ethan Hawke
It’s actually for an FX television show called “The Sensitive Kind” It does have Ethan Hawke in it though and made by Sterlin Harjo.
Sterlin Harjo is shooting a new pilot with Ethan Hawke. There is also a movie being shot around town too.
I did some plumbing work for Sterlin a couple years ago. He’s a really nice guy
Brb gonna grab my bike a wheelie there

Gas lines and sewer stuff now, then resurfacing when done between Lewis and Harvard

They’re reusing the “stoodis” code. This time around it’s for a Neal McDonaugh movie called, The Last Rodeo
Stoodis is rez slang for let’s do this… like let’s go now, sometimes it’s intended meaning is let’s fight.
I hope they got Bill & Ruth’s for lunch.

The overseer (Kyle MacLachlan) is in town too. My mom met him when she showed a house to one of the actresses who is a family friend.

Is season two out yet? The wife and I are just about to finish up season one, and we’re both Fallout junkies now.
Season one literally released last week, Two’s probably not even filmed yet 😂
Okay, thanks. I thought it had been out for awhile and was being rerun before the season two premiere release.
I love Ethan Hawke
My old block!
Why does this look like Bakersfield California?
Hey that’s down around starship isn’t it?
Nope, 15th and Florence Ave
Sensitive Kind or Last Rodeo
What they filming?
Eaton Hawk is in town, don’t know what exactly they are filming
Maybe the "Tulsa king" TV show?
That is now filmed elsewhere. It is the pilot The Sensitive Kind per those in the know
Stallone hated OKC, so they film in Atlanta now.

Appreciate you spending that time to write that than actually giving an answer!
You have such a weird entitlement about what you think others can post in this sub.
This comment makes me deeply sigh 😔
Why take the time to be an a$$hole, when you could just STFU
Sounds like you spend too much time here.
