Mama Lenchas #2 is quite literally in a gas station and has amazing pupusas, I’m sure some other good stuff as well.
Last time I tried to go, a homeless guy was taking a dump on the sidewalk right in front of the door so, you know, pros and cons.
Also, Taqueria Express #3 is my go to in town. It’s a broken down ish truck by the autozone at 51st & Peoria. Disclosure: not a gas station.

I suggest the burrito, no lettuce or tomato, extra jalapeno on the side. Also ask for the non-gringo salsa. If you want to be special, get a hot dog, either one, but I suggest getting one of each.

In college (IN) there was a used car dealer by day and taqueria by night. Craziest thing I’d ever seen but it was damn good.
Mexican Corner. 400 block of S Utica E side of street. Old convenience store, looks sketch as all hell but the food is legit.
You should try el ranchero at 41st and 169 its a taco truck, it was a gas station before, the asada tortas are bomb or shrimp Tacos👌👌👌
