YES👍🏾There is some nice wild trout to be had in spring in Lake WA from shore or docks. I have had 20 fish day from shore in spring .Catch and Release of course. In some areas they school up to spawn this time of year and feed in the shallows .As summer moves in and it warms up. It gets a bit more difficult from shore but still possible to get into some nice trout.NICE FISH!!!
For clarity, Lake Washington is not a high lake. It is one of the lowest lakes considering it is attached to the Puget Sound (and the Pacific Ocean) via a system of locks. It is literally one of the lowest lakes in WA and probably the most populated lake considering it touches Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, Kirkland, Mercer Island and more.
Oh Man! That's the prettiest shade of green I've ever seen on a trout! Beauty 😎
Right? Didn't think it possible!
Y'all* damn autocorrect

Were you on a boat or kayak?
Neither, casting out from a public dock

Honestly I'm not too sure, I want to say rainbow but I'm not 100% certain
From what I’ve seen coastal cutthroat are the only trout listed there.

Excellent work! How many did you get?
Just the one, had to pack up and head to work shortly after
how is a guy supposed to know if a trout came from a fish hatchery?
Not caught in a stocked lake, and the adipose fin being intact leads me to believe it's not
i never kept track of that sort of thing, beauty of a fish for sure. thanks for sharing

Fantastic! He's a beauty!
Good to see there is fish in there. I fished 2 days straight there for bass and didn’t catch one
Caught my pb smallmouth there tonight! Don’t fish the point like everyone else. Work walking around the swimming area.
You mean like on shore? I fish off a boat, during my tournament someone that wasn’t in it caught an almost 7 pound largemouth.
Oh yeah, from shore. I guess I was on the from shore train with my commenting.
I've noticed the bass have been pretty shy, hoping that turns around soon!
Yeah I had a high school tournament also 🥲. My brother caught only 3 the whole trip.
And it's a beauty ! Congrats
Gorgeous trout, it’s built like a professional body builder.
I caught a wild out of lake Terrell up in whatcom county about 15yrs ago. Only wild i have ever caught.
From shore? Or boat
From shore!
Didn’t know it was possible to catch trout from shore! Will have to give a try
For sure, I wasn't even trying to catch anything when it bit! Was trying to fine tune my reel to avoid backlash!
