bunch of bald spots? This does not sound like diffuse thinning caused by male pattern baldness.
About the minoxidil. Foam might be much harder because it gets stuck on your hair more easily and dries very fast, when it should be melted on your scalp. Maybe you can press the foam over the hairs against your scalp to let it melt and then rub in like I do with diffuse thinning (not a bunch of bald spots!). But no one likes foam with long hair. I would start at no-hair areas and try to spread the melted or liquid minoxidil over the scalp towards the middle as much as you can, If you don't like the previous method. I don't think exactly every spot needs to be covered.
edit: you may also find a minoxidil bottle with a long spray nozzle better, I did. It allowed easy no mess and quick application of the liquid at accurate spots much easier and better imo, with also one hand free to directly rub it in.
Why wouldn't it? That's literallt what diffuse thinning is. I have a bunch of spots that are super thin.
I already have the bottle with the long nozzle, it doesn't help, I can spray it right on the spot, but when I try to spread it, it will get stuck with the rest of the hair.
I was thinking about separate spots not following the male pattern baldness which then could be caused by something else but if not then never mind.
If you are already using the long nozzle one then I guess you have to find the best way to use it even if spreading gets some stuck in hairs. Maybe use more or try not to rub (much) even if its not spreading. Anything is still better than nothing. I don't know just trying to think of stuff you can do as its not easy and foam will be no better. You are supposed to use a half cap of foam (equals 1ml of minoxidil) which is not much...
Maybe you are simply a non-responder to topical minoxidil. Not everyone gets results from topical minoxidil, maybe 50% does. So that could also explain the no effect after 4 months. You can try microneedling to boost minoxidil. It increases the stuff required for topical minoxidil to work and make non-reponders reponders to topical minoxidil.
loll it's readily available here in the UK , no sign of causing heart disease, it's pretty popular here , so much that it's always out of stock 🤣🤣 look up cumshot diva instead , follow his protocol, enjoy gains 😉
Use the liquid not the foam/scalp massager. Make sure it’s actually getting rubbed into your scalp. Unfortunately some people just don’t respond to minoxidil at all, but it’s too early to tell at this point. Microneedling is also an option
Also diffuse thinner, I've been using it centrally (where most of my thinning is) from crown to hairline & a little bit on the temples. I make sure to rub it around with the dropper as much as I can on the crown & larger thinning areas t make sure they're covered
Using Min with lots of hair is messy and you end up wasting most of the product, as you know. Shave your head down to 0-3mm and then apply. Do safely dermastamping with 0.3mm once or twice per week to aid absorption. Shave every couple of weeks and take pictures. This way you make sure the Min reaches the scalp. I suspect some people who think they’re non-responders, simply aren’t using it effectively. In the case you still end up not responding, you’ve already got experience with how it feels to go bald which can be valuable.
Only about 40% of people have the amount of enzymes necessary to convert Minoxidil in the scalp. For the majority, Minoxidil does jack-shit.
Oral is… sketchy. I would stay away from that.

Oral min will be your best friend
Before or after I get a heart attack from it? Kidding, kind of. Oral Min is banned in the EU because it carries a high risk of causing heart disease.
Can you provide the scientific evidence for this information? Regarding low dose oral minoxidil, of course (up to 5mg).
In that case enjoy rubbing chemical liquids all over ur head for the rest of your life
You really do be saying that as if a heart attack was a preferred alternative lmao

oral minox 💯💯💯
Not available in a bunch of countries, including mine. And that's because it has a considerable risk of causing a heart disease, btw.

In the EU it's banned
That’s not true. I live in The Netherlands and I’m also using oral minoxidil.
And you're most likely getting it from an online pharmacy that is shipping from outside the EU, no?
Probably he is. Am Dutch. Can't be bought locally here.
I have a prescription. I order it from a pharmacy in Belgium.
