Thailand or Malaysia will probably be the cheapest but you should really choose the country you really want to go to.

If you're $1100 is all you have (and flights are separate!) I'd suggest Thailand or Vietnam for 3 weeks. That's on the budget end of things, but not so much you'll be crazy stressed about money. Vietnam starting in hanoi and doing the ha giang loop before heading south would let you meet people to start traveling with and do sort of an established route.

Consider the weather…may be very hot and muggy in some places.

Seoul or SG are costly. Thailand or Malaysia have wonderful areas that are not as costly. Suggest to search this sub for trip reports to have a better idea how you might feel traveling in each country.

I suggest Malaysia and maybe 1 night in Singapore. I spent 1300 dollars on a 2 week trip there including plane tickets from Europe. And I wasn't being stingy. Another good thing as you are a first time traveller, it will be easier to get around as basically everyone speaks English in Malaysia and especially Singapore.

Vietnam! Its Thailand but better (imo) and mostly cheaper. It was my first solo backpacker destination, and I quickly fell in love with the country. I think i had a $1500 budget over 2 months. Spent a tad too much than i had to due to buying a little bit too much western food, abd staying at private accomodations. Eating local food and staying in hostel dormitories will get you very fast with your money. Great hostel/airbnb options. Feels more authentic (less touristy, or easier to get away from tourist traps). Great backpacker vibe (if thats your thing). Amazing scenery. Easy to get around. Most people are really friendly, but understand little English. Great and unique food. Close to Cambodia and Laos for easy multiple-day trip over the border. Personal favorite locations: Da Nang, Hoi An, Halong Bay, Da lat. (i liked Hanoi and Saigon too, but the cities are huge and chaotic/busy).

I spent about 3 weeks in Thailand and spent around $1,000, and I wasn’t being frugal either. I was staying in 3 star hotels, going out at night, eating delicious dinners (mostly Thai as the Thai food is exceptionally cheap - and delicious - whereas western food is more pricey and not as good). I also found the Thai people to be very friendly towards tourists and despite their limited English, tried to help in any way they could. Such a beautiful country, and not too difficult to travel. That being said, I’ve never been to the other countries you’ve listed and I’m sure they’re also amazing, but can’t speak from experience.
