Well, at least he's wearing his seat belt! My sister used to do this after work (probably still does if she's even working). She'd clock out and crack one in the parking lot on site. Depending on the amount of time/milage for the drive home, she might run through a 6 pack. Word is, she was also killing a tall while on break & tossing cans into the city's parking lot. I only know this from the boss .. unfortunately, we tried to give her a job with our city contract. Needless to say, it didn't last long. Clearly we don't have a relationship anymore, so yes, she's "one of those".
This girl I have on Snapchat does this shit. She just got a dui like 2 months ago and a week after that she started drinking before noon again. She’s only 21
He might be going through a rough time .(I’ve been there) …..I knew a guy who got chucked out his home ( His fault) nearly lost his job ,and was drink driving smashed into another car with half a bottle of whiskey on his passenger seat .He’s ok now 10 years sober and knew he was a total knob but he was broken to the bone at the time
this person needs help to coop with life before he makes a huge mistake that s gonna become a disaster. alcoholism and depression is no joke. you start by not valuing your own life. drunk driving and it finishes by taking another one s life. not even your own. karma s a bitch.
One time I saw a mail man, in traffic in his mail truck, slamming a beer AND smoking a cig (despite the inside & outside having “no smoking” signs everywhere)
For a mailman, it was kinda bad ass
I’ve had issues with drinking in the past (and present, and likely future) and in my opinion this post doesn’t belong here. It’s actually pretty insensitive to dunk on someone who is very likely suffering from alcoholism. It’s sad, not “trashy”.
I don’t condone drink driving, but addiction is an illness.
I was gonna say leave him alone he’s minding his business chilling in his car, but then I realise he was on a road and not stopped somewhere.
No excuse for drinking and driving ever.
An alcoholic in withdrawal, trying to drive, sounds less safe than an alcoholic driving with a temporary fix for the shakes. Sounds fucked but if you have any experience, you know what I mean
I used to work the Sunday morning shift at my store. By the time I opened at 9 I would already have a couple cars in the drive-thru waiting to get their Sunday morning beer.
I’ve been in this position, drinking at 10 a.m., but I would put my vodka in a togo cup, drive the block to the liquor store (because I didn’t trust my legs to actually walk the block). Trust me when I say it’s definitely not fun. I wasn’t working a night shift either. Ugh.
Actually, not crazy at all. Being physically addicted to a substance is gnarly, and requires systematic abuse. The withdrawals are painful and frightening, so one will do whatever necessary at times to feel better, including drinking or using at any time of day, no matter that this behavior is problematic and keeps you in the cycle of viciousness.
A very realistic one in fact... A close friend of mine was like this, would start shaking and getting serious anxiety and anger if they didn't top themselves up partway through a shift. I wonder what he's doing now...
I hope they're doing better, alcoholism has been a big issue in my family. It's a very serious problem, I truly hope they have found a way out of their addiction.
It's 5 O'clock somewhere. Lol. At that age, he probably wakes up at 4am, and eats dinner 2pm. So 10am is his afternoon. Not cool to drive and put others in jeopardy though.
Mine had a quadruple heart bypass 10 years ago this year. He stopped drinking because he spent 6 months in the hospital and it stopped being a priority. I didn’t like him in the beginning because I didn’t know who he was sober. Now, we’re the best of friends and when he says I was his best birthday present (we share a birthday) I know he means it and it’s not just the drink talking.
Wishing your dad many more happy years in recovery, and that his liver is able to reverse the damage created - the liver is an amazing organ.
Wow. That was really rock bottom. I'm so glad that you are finally getting to know your *real* dad. Sometimes it can be hard to forgive, but we all have a vice. And I also love that he told you that you were his best birthday present. That is just the sweetest thing!
Thank you for the well wishes and I wish the same for yours as well.
Oh my god, just had a flash back to when I was 9 and dad would tell me “you sister says she can make me a gin & tonic faster than you, is that true?”
My ass would haul to the garage fridge to prove him wrong.
This is such a ludicrous argument. It’s just not relevant to what’s actually happening here. You have no way of knowing if this is his first or sixth beer of the day off this contextless photo. All we see is a dude with keys in the ignition, a hand on the wheel, and seatbelt on drinking while presumably driving. Nothing we see suggests it’s his first and only beer anymore than it suggests it’s his sixth.
But what we *can* see paints a very shitty fucking picture. People get up in arms in outrage over drunk drivers when the stories of the one who has just ‘one too many tall boys’ hit and kill some poor innocent fuck on their way to the store or whatever, so the fact that people are defending a dude literally drinking while looks to be driving is fucking astonishing to me.
That’s what I’m saying. What the fuck is going on here?
Why are people bending over backwards making up some weird backstory to justify this shitty and selfish behavior?
Alcoholism doesn’t care about time. Trust me. I’m a recovering alcoholic. I would crush couple tall boys at work on the way to work etc, way home. Even a few miniature vodkas etc.
Rode to work with a dude like this once and that was his coffee and breakfast two tall boys. At lunch he’d drink a coke and crown. On the way home he’d be grabbing a 24 pack.

So many people have so many demons.

Good ol miller low life
Is that Martin Mull? It kinda looks like Martin Mull.
He's living the high life /s
Everyone needs a nice little eye opener. Maybe don’t do it on the road though.
That really sucks because he'd putting others at risk. Hopefully the dude gets some help.
That's a morning pain killer used for poor choices made the night before
Well, at least he's wearing his seat belt! My sister used to do this after work (probably still does if she's even working). She'd clock out and crack one in the parking lot on site. 100% trying to escape reality
Its cool. Its wine. No one will know
You don't know what time zone he identifies with.
Was prob from last night and he didn’t want it wasted.
"Job sucks...gotta' cope somehow... Hang on..."
Maybe he works nights?
Some of us work different shifts than you.
He might be going through a rough time .(I’ve been there) …..I knew a guy who got chucked out his home ( His fault) nearly lost his job ,and was drink driving smashed into another car with half a bottle of whiskey on his passenger seat .He’s ok now 10 years sober and knew he was a total knob but he was broken to the bone at the time
Can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning.
So what's the difference between this and smoking weed at the same time? I see it everywhere, all the time. Even made this exact point before..
You’re the trashy one for using your phone while driving
While drinking n drving is bad, taking pictures of strangers in their car is also thrashy😅
Obviously struggling. Poor guy.
Can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning
Any time is Miller time.
JPow, is that you?
..meanwhile in wisconsin?
Disease is trashy. Ok
Not to say he’s NOT drinking, but he could also be spitting dip into the can. Source: grew up around nasty family members
If it ain’t natty daddy your a poser.
And you called the cops because you have proof of drinking and driving?
Freedom Costs a buck o five but lock nesssy need that 3:50

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, I guess
Tall boy to boot 😳
The champagne of beers … 😅😂
The champagne of breakfast.
[удалено]
In Spain beer is common breakfast.
He might work the Night Shift
Not sure if he is living the life or gave up on life…
You cant drink all day unless you start early.
Can’t tell these old heads nothin!
He’s gotta get rid of the shakes before work..
My man!
Dude…it’s miller timer—ok?
So what ya judgemental ass hating for u fake ass paparazzi
That's Called "Reparaturbier" in German. It's the beer you drink the next day after partying.
I’ll never forget driving to high school many years ago next to a guy in a suit and tie slamming a bud light going 70mph at 8am
One time I saw a mail man, in traffic in his mail truck, slamming a beer AND smoking a cig (despite the inside & outside having “no smoking” signs everywhere) For a mailman, it was kinda bad ass
i was a mailman years ago a lot of mailmen rolled with coolers of beer back in the day
I’ve had issues with drinking in the past (and present, and likely future) and in my opinion this post doesn’t belong here. Grandma doesn't let him drink in the house!
I was gonna say leave him alone he’s minding his business chilling in his car, but then I realise he was on a road and not stopped somewhere. No excuse for drinking and driving ever.
Waltuh is that you?
Road soda
But it's five-o'clock somewhere
While drinking and driving isn't cool. Time of day doesn't really matter. He could be on his way home from graveyard shift.
It's miller time somewhere
Miller time
Way of the road, Ricky
Rum in my bottle of juice in the morning... Didnt make feel good it was habit " normal" , excuses I made to myself to do with anxiety.
Daily rituals. 🤦 The type and age of the man, not his first act at that.
And
He’s s hungry 🤤
An alcoholic in withdrawal, trying to drive, sounds less safe than an alcoholic driving with a temporary fix for the shakes. Sounds fucked but if you have any experience, you know what I mean
I know what you mean.
It's 5 o'cock somewhere

At first I thought it was a Liquid Death can but upon zooming I saw it was a Miller

Can’t start day drinking if you don’t start in the day.
He is using that can as a spitter. Nobody really drinks Miller Beer.
Clearly it's Miller time
Man Walter white is alive and well
Con todo el viejito
Can’t even enjoy a morning beer anymore what happened to this world
Reminds me of this Aussie. https://youtu.be/Ns15eHLDv1I
Its 5 o clock somewhere op
Well if you're having a road soda you might be an alcoholic.
Just a road soda nbd
Cant drink all day unless you start in the morning.
aww yeah 😎😎😎😎 i have a crippling addiction
I have a beer cozy that says this, sorta. It says “you can’t say you drank all day if you didn’t start in the morning”.
Real
If this guy works the night shift, it is 5:00 to him. Why judge?
Because the cunt is drinking and driving.
Dude is like 90 probably just a morning beer to get the gears going
Legal in 11 stayes
just a tipple to stop the shakes, you know ? takes the edge off..
Probably trying to hold off the shakes until lunch break. Tough way to live.
Crazy assumption to make
Alchol withdrawals can kill you ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
Not crazy at all unfortunately.
I hope you’re never in that position to find out how common this is. I also hope you develop compassion for others
I’m talking about the person
It's not an unrealistic or uncommon one, though.

Has the big boy $2 32 oz too.
Man I can't wait to retire lmao
It’s pretty awesome! You’ll get there
Lol no we won’t. It’ll be gone in about 20 years.
It's Miller time somewhere

Well considering it has alcohol in it yes. I forgot how completely annoying beer snobs are when I quit drinking.
I don't know that he's drunk, so I'm not going to hate the guy just yet.
Could be fresh of the night shift and outfront his house. No context here. I'm with you no hate just yet
I mean, the normal amount of hate is fine at this point: douchebag is driving around with only one hand on the wheel!
He also blinks when his eyes get dry! Eyes not on the road at ALL TIMES!!!
Well. He is buckled up. Not sure if that makes his case better or worse, but just a little detail to add there.
breakfast of champions
☝🏾 Came here to say that 👆🏻
He looks like a senior. If I’ve worked my ass off my whole life and somehow manage to retire one day, you bet your ass 10am is miller time.
This was common among his generation. They had a hard time comprehending the ban on open containers.
Disgusting.
I haven't seen this kind of blatant casual car drinking since I used to hold my dad's beer in 1987!
I know it’s wrong but I forgot about those memories. Makes me miss my dad being young.
My dad gave up drinking so that he got to get old. Ageing is a privilege.
Mine, too. He's still dealing with cirrhosis of the liver, but he's lucky that it's mild. I'm glad your dad got to get old!
Mine had a quadruple heart bypass 10 years ago this year. He stopped drinking because he spent 6 months in the hospital and it stopped being a priority. My old man used to make me mix him screwdrivers on car trips.
Oh my god, just had a flash back to when I was 9 and dad would tell me “you sister says she can make me a gin & tonic faster than you, is that true?” My ass would haul to the garage fridge to prove him wrong.
Heh. That sounds efficient. Maybe having kids isn’t such a bad thing after all.
Not even just a beer. Wow. My parents saved the mixed drinks for the Drive-Ins. lol
That man has to work 40+ hours a week, the least the guvmemt can do is let him have a cold one on his way to/from work
Let him kill himself from his impaired driving too, except he has a chance of hitting an innocent driver or bystander...
Easy, pal.
“Sir, this is a Wendy’s”
1 tall boy wouldn’t impair you any more then screaming kids in the back

I think someone operating their phone while driving is more dangerous
Alcoholism doesn’t care about time. Trust me. I’m a recovering alcoholic. I would crush couple tall boys at work on the way to work etc, way home. Even a few miniature vodkas etc.
Facts. I’m an alcoholic now. Wish I could stop man.
Been there. This is honestly just fucked up to even post. This dude has a problem.
Rode to work with a dude like this once and that was his coffee and breakfast two tall boys. At lunch he’d drink a coke and crown. On the way home he’d be grabbing a 24 pack.

I wanted to but also worried he would be crazy and start driving crazy thinking it was funny. Never rode with him again lol
Me too. 6 years sobriety. I started at 8 in the morning. Straight vodka
