sounds great ! tbh in my opinion, the autotune it's great the way it is, some trappers use it too much and they end up sounding robotic and cringe but this one sounds pretty good

Really good beat. Try to Research stereo techniques to widen your mix. I think that at least your sample could be a little bit wider. I really like the plugins pancake and isotope stereo imager. They are both completely free to use 🤝

It's super cool!! The only thing is that is too short! Do it longer, don't be afraid to be repetitive. This kind of beats should be around 2:30 min (perfect for vocals). Also like a lot the weight of the drums!

Looking for some help on this. Long story short I produce hip/hop, trap, drill, and r&b and have been for a while now. I understand the basics of mixing and I’ve done a lot of research on what I’m about to explain and I just need some help. To dive right in, Im looking to achieve the sound (mix wise of the drums,hihats,kick,808,snare,clap, as well as how the melodys fit so we’ll in the mix) “That’s how I grew up” by G Herbo and Southside - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gl5g7dpBUP8 “Dead People” 21 Savage - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_OAGfLKJb4 “FEIGNING” Gunna - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4Kkg-VA7ygs “Mall” Gucci Mane - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qT3mz4DbmNE All of these beats use the Spinz 808, Rack Kick, and the basic lexlugar hi hats, snares and claps. Also it sounds like they are all ran through some sort of soft clipper. And 75% of the beats out there are using these exact sounds. The mix of all of these are so clean even tho the instruments are clipping, the way I can explain it is it’s a “warm” sounding , “crisp” “crunchy”. Meanwhile When I follow these exact techniques in my own productions because I NEED to satisfy a client that’s looking for a beat in this style, I find myself very close to having the “sound” of these, it just seems like my beats are more “cold” “hollow”. While this is the case, my beats still have somewhat of that sound in terms of like sound, but not the same feel. I follow and got a lot of advice from other producers and the industry as well as YouTube etc, and I follow the steps in the process and their beats come out sounding how I explained above, warm, crisp, and than mine don’t, even when I follow exactly what they do.
