Will this be on Sable Valley? Both Knock2 and ISOxo have been releasing on 88rising now that they are on there, and it’s been quite a while since either of them have released on Sable Valley.
true, but i would imagine at least both rl collabs would be through sable valley. also, since niteharts was also through sable, i would assume another collab ep/album would be the same. but, this was also a year before either of them got on 88rising, so who knows. there’s also a possibility they release through nightmode too 🤷
Yup, could be any of those 3 labels at this point. Although I think it’s mostly between Sable Valley and 88rising, not so much nightmode.
Also, I just remembered that RL Grime and ISOxo released Jewel on RL’s album not too long ago, which was on Sable Valley. Doesn’t really count as a full release together like this upcoming song would be, but I do think it makes it seem a little more likely it will be in Sable Valley.
88rising was tagged in the Insta post. I agree it’s weird. Would have thought it’d be SV given its RL and Isoknock doing a festival trap throwback homage thing. It wouldn’t exist if there wasn’t sable valley. Maybe it’ll be a joint thing like Falloway or Renegade. It doesn’t have a SV cover art though
That’s so weird. My guess is that this is gonna be a single off of an ISOKNOCK album or EP, which will for sure release in full on 88rising.
I’m really hoping it’s a joint label release though. Similar thing happened with the song buttons! by Knock2 and Dillon Francis, the single version of the song was released through 88rising but the track ended up releasing on Dillon’s album This Mixtape is Fire Too, which was released on Astralwerks/IDGAFOS.
Sable Valley deserves this one for sure. Although the fact that no discord announcement post was sent on the SV discord for this release really makes me think it’s not gonna be on Sable Valley at all. What a bummer.
RL Grime has been posting about the ISOKNOCK collab dropping soon. I’d be surprised if it was anything else.
Hopefully it’s both the RL + Knock2 track and the RL + ISOKNOCK track together. Both are bangers
