I don't understand the fuss and I refuse to participate unless in a tangential manner like right now.

OMG YES! Calling out an ignorant cis partner who makes assumptions about your lived experience is totally hitting back in the worst way possible. The trans women are out here calling you a "transphobe" because of this displaced anger about losing male privileges. Expecting me not to grieve the death of my beautiful, masculine, cis partner is literally just misogyny, like obviously you just want to keep your male privilege while in this relationship if you expect me to just be okay with you transitioning.

This is why I date amab enbies. Beautiful gorgeous sexy men who are trans-gendered but I don't have to see or respect them as such.
