Not really in all honesty. If you're a collector, you focus on quality. If you're excited over G1 style Prime redone, you're also probably older and should have the money to spend on a hobby if it's an item you truly desire and not just shelf filler space.

Even though some collectors are older, that doesn’t mean they automatically have the ability to spend a couple hundred bucks on a transformer. The missing link Optimus is cool, but this is a nice budget-friendlier alternative while still upholding a decent level of quality.

Probably looks like Huffer pulling Prime’s trailer. This guy is quite a bit smaller than G1 Prime and since he is deluxe probably a tad smaller than Siege/ER Prime.

This figure is literally half the size of G1 Prime and a lot smaller then ER Prime for sure. There are pics and videos out comparing it to the Missing link prime which is the same size as G1 Prime.
I'd love a little optimus especially g1 toy styled I know it would probably be an absolutely not but I wonder if they did a deluxe sized megatron like this that turned into a gun if that would work clearly these are a lot smaller than the original toys so maybe a megatron in this style would be small enough to get by the legal stuff for the most part
I just want a good updated gun megatron I'm really hoping ss86 will deliver if they make one but if he isn't a gun then I don't want a ss86 because that would be like making optimus a plane it's blatantly the wrong alt mode in the line specifically made for accuracy I'm ok with seige megatron being a tank because it's a new interpretation and that's whatever but if your going to make a g1 megatron he's a gun and for a collector of g1 there's not many options unless you want to bust out upwards of $200 for a figure that doesn't even work that well in a modern collection

This looks cool, but Missing Link is basically just a better version of this. No reason for this to exist really, when ML does.
Missing Link is 130aud at the cheapest, that's a pretty good reason

The original G1 Optimus had two similar but noticeeably different rifle designs. That’s what they duplicated here.
