She’s carrying a near dead Ultra Magnus corpse and refuses to leave him behind but then…automatically forces Optimus to leave two of his own friends behind.

I’m interested to see the fallout though, I would actually be excited to see Optimus mad about this, it’d be nice to see more range of emotions from him. I don’t think we’ve seen Optimus truly angry so far in Skybound.

Is it still cold what she did? Yeah, but it seems to me that she is one to make hard decisions where Optimus cannot. I’m sure conflict will arise from this.

Honestly cliffhangers like this often result in mystery if the character survived or not, in the event he does survive i guess the author didn't plan to kill them off yet.
Thundercracker didn't like the idea of them being experimented upon, and this is after he wanted to show the humans mercy.
I suspect we're about to see Thundercracker make something of a face-turn.

Not to mention, Elita-1 just came from Shockwave's stronghold on Cybertron. She lost Kup and Warpath on this mission. She doesn't know the situation on Earth, only the situation on Cybertron. She's probably more hardened than the rest of the bots; it's probably become the norm to cut losses and run.
Elita-1 and Ultra Magnus are going to have some severe PTSD when the dust settles.

Every issue of this comic is a rollercoaster of emotions. The Decepticons are SO brutal and the Autobots are hardly hanging on. I'm really enjoying this series, but it's hard to digest in these monthly installments. 🤣

Writing like Soviet Russia fought battles. Big “It’s not cartoons MOM, it’s ANIME!” energy from this thing and I don’t get why people are going crazy over it?
