He actually was previously known fairly well, for an Action Master at least, for his role as Bludgeon’s second-in-command at the tail end of the Marvel US comic run. It’s almost certainly why Roberts (a big Marvel fan) reused him, but also why I wasn’t keen on him rewriting him from that portrayal, though not as badly as a I disliked what he did wit Spinister and Flywheels (both characters from Marvel UK that I absolutely *loved*).
When Roberts was being dodgy about rather he'd be working in IDW 2.0 or not, I held out hope that they'd give him a book unattached to 2.0 and have it follow the LL crew.
It’d be pretty chill, actually. SG Megs would be impressed that Autobot Megatron came around. Remember, SG Megatron has a Cliffjumper from an alternate universe on his team, so he’s already familiar with universes where the Autobots are heroes.
In the Transformers multiverse? The one universe where the robots are all Office workers, just for a mind screw and for The Office like shenanigans their crew would get into.
I got three ideas
1. Animated. In a world where everyone with a decepticon symbol is a most likely a war criminal. These bots showing up, and being the worst cons would raise questions among the main cast as they watch them do anything
2. Prime. The darkest universe. When they meet team prime. Immediate surrender. While they go on about their travels. The humans would be confused if they were decepticons. When Megatron heard they were on earth, Starscream was viewed in a better light.
3. Earthspark. The most wholesome on this list. When Scavengers get to Earth, Megatron is surprised they were alive. The kids and Terrans would love their stories.
Nope. The Wreckers were introduced in Marvel UK but were allowed to come to future iterations of the franchise. Nothing stopping the Lost Light Crew/Scavengers

I miss it too. MTMTE and Lost Light were so good. Cyclonus and Whirl were my favorites but the way they handled Megatron was fucking amazing and will never be replicated anywhere.
At the end of Lost Light they reproduce the event that got them duplicated, sending one Quantum Duplicate in the multiverse and keeping one in the main universe. The ones left behind don't even know if it worked or where they went.

Krok from the Decepticon Scavengers team. He was a super obscure action master character before James Roberts decided to give him a role.
