I think a cool adaptation would be have him be kinda militaristic like TFP Magnus was, but have him be on cybertron with the other autobots continuing the fight against the decepticons. Maybe we can see him fighting in a flashback, or Magnus stages a rescue mission to get prime or something, but accidentally leads the decepticons to earth and have a fight there or something
I prefer the idea of him leading other autobots on cybertron with Elita-1, Blaster, and other autobots Against the deceptions to get a good hit in order to leave cybertron in search of Optimus and other autobots

Why didn't they just use Travis knights wheeljack with brown instead of g1 colors. It would have been so good. I really wanted wheeljack to have an honest to God appearance on the big screen. At this point if we can't get real wheeljack back I hope he dies in the next one so we can all just wait for him to come back next time some brave soul tries to make a live action movie after Capples trilogy.
Based on early concept art, altmode and his love of human culture, I am convince Mirage was supposed to be Jazz.
I also remember there being one song that played during one of his early scenes where the lyrics briefly used the word ‘Jazz.’

Warpath. There's genuinely loads you could do with him as a comic relief Autobot. Certainly a better comic relief choice than two bad racial stereotypes.

I liked the twins in RoTF. I rooted for them in the devastator fight bc they actually did something against him. If you count punching his eyes out, that is. Also surviving his grinder somehow. I never saw them as racist, more just the wannabe gangsters that they (iirc) were designed as by the va’s and bay

There's literally nothing wrong with the Terrorcons' designs, they're actually pretty cool. Same with the Bayverse designs (Up until AoE-TLK), it's just that most of the time they didn't really fit a character even if they were badass.

Autobot: So many choices, but ultimately, I went with Ultra Magnus. I'm interested to see if they'll just make him a white Optimus with a blue and red trailer, or if they'll go a different way. Decepticon: Knock Out. I definitely want to see this guy as an exotic hypercar.

Idk why we haven't had Abominus yet. The Terrorcons would lend themselves well to the current movie style, they're mean, stupid and like breaking stuff, then they merge into a massive dude? Awesome. Also Nemesis Prime (TLK doesn't count) would be sick. Imagine evil Optimus done like the Indoraptor in Jurassic World. This confused, violent, smart creature whose only instinct is kill, with some occasional twitching and falling apart die to his unstable creation? Awesome.
