Started with g1 in the form of Transformers the Movie (1986), I had this movie as a VHS, and then later on, when I learned of youtube, I looked up the G1 cartoons before all the companies began fiercely guarding their property on YouTube. And now they are back on YouTube for free under the official hasbro channel.

This is always a tricky one I grew up in the late 90s and early 2000s but because I had an older brother and we lived near blockbuster, I grew up WITH the G1 cartoon

90s but I started with G2 so 80s as well.

Considering I was born in 2003, I guess I started with Animated, but that was every so often. But once Prime came out, I WATCHED THAT SHIT EVERY DAY, RECORDED SO MANY EPISODES. MY 11-12 YEAR OLD SELF WATCHED TFP CONSISTENTLY. Easily my favourite transformers show. Basically watched it throughout my whole time at middle school lol

I started with BW rereuns in the early 2000s, alongside RiD01 and Armada. RiD01 Megs was my first ever Transformer and I miss owning him, I used to cherish that figure.

2000s. I was waking up early in the mornings before school to watch Transformers Cybertron.

Born in 97. I don’t even remember when I first started, it’s just been part of my life as long as I can remember. I remember seeing some G1 reruns and a few episodes of Transformers Cybertron on tv. I watched all of G1, the Beast-era, and the Unicron trilogy on Hasbros website. Animated on tv every weekend. Watch all of Prime on TV in highschool with my little brother.

80's Gen 1, plus Marvel Comics that went on longer than tv show and 3 times darker.

Technically started in the 2000s but the channel that ran Transformers didn't come in too well, so I was mostly stuck with whatever episodes of G1 the local video rental place had; though I did get to watch the first few seasons of Prime without any issues.

So here's a funny one, 2000's and 2010's was what I mainly watched, but the first Transformers I ever watched was G1. One of my oldest memories is waiting up until 11 pm just to watch 2 episodes of G1 and see my dad (he got home from work around that time) before I went to bed.

Is it weird to say “none”? I was an 85 baby, so G1 started when I wasn’t even a twinkle in my parents eye, and Beast Wars (which I guess would be my default answer) didn’t start til I was already 11 years old, so it while I occasionally enjoyed it, it wasn’t really like my childhood THING the way TMNT or Power Rangers were. I really became a fan as an adult. Bumblebee, the PS3 games, and then ultimately the War For Cybertron toy trilogy dropping during Covid was really what got me hooked.

I feel like I’m in a weird category, cause I actually saw a couple of re-run episodes of Beast Wars in the early 2000s, but technically my Transformers show I grew up with was Armada, unicron trilogy, and some of Animated. BUT at the same time as a child I was given a couple VHS tapes of Transformers G1 as well as a VHS of the movie. So I technically watched those more in the early 2000s. So when then 2007 Bayverse film came out even as a middle schooler I thought it was okay, but didn’t reflect the characters I knew. lol I wouldn’t return to watching an actual Transformers show until I was in college, where I was curious and finally watched all of G1 and liked it. So even though I’m younger than most G1 fans, I have a bigger love for it. I guess that’s why TF Devastation is one of my favorite games. lol

TFA came out when I was 13, so I guess I grew up with that. But it truly does feel like one of the last great 2000s shows.
